Jagan Against AP Capital In Tullur
TDP senior leader Gali Muddukrishnam Naidu on Monday alleged that YSRCP president and Leader of Opposition Y S Jaganmohan Reddy did not want the new capital to come up in Tulluru area of Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to the media here, TDP leader alleged that YSRCP activists were creating problems in the construction and development of new capital by indulging in arson and spreading false information in “Sakshi” newspaper that the government had a deal with Singapore companies in this regard.
“By constructing and developing new capital in the proposed areas, we can prevent drought for four years by bringing water from Nagarjunasagar, Srisailam, Krishna, Pulichintala, Prakasham barrage and other projects. Every good work of TDP government was seen in negative way is not proper on the part of Jagan”, he added.
Municipal Commissioners voice against Municipal Minister!
Minister for Municipal and Administration P. Narayana is playing very vital role in CBN cabinet. CBN assigned key responsibilities to the Minister in construction of the new permanent and temporary capital. Narayana is one of the members in CBN squad who recently visited Singapore and Japan.
Even TDP leaders agreed Narayana’s involvement in both party and government affairs. Now first time, Andhra Pradesh Municipal Commissioners Association (APMCA) has targeted Municipal Minister Narayana with several allegations. APMCA general body meeting held in Ongole and targeted the minister for his rough attitude over commissioners.
They said with all frustration that Municipal Minister was ill-treated them. Some commissioners said that Minister called for mobile phone conferences with short notices. 60 Municipal Commissioners were attended for the meeting out of 110 in the state. The general body meeting discussed among themselves on harassment by the minister.
This is not the first time on allegations against Narayana. Sambasiva Rao Principal Secretary for Municipal Administration was appointed as new Executive Officer of TTD. Reportedly, Minister Narayana is the man behind his Sambasiva Rao’s moment.
JC amazed by Chandranna!
For those who are new to TDP, it may sound unusual but for people in TDP, it is quite common to see publicity happening more than substance. Now it is the turn of latest offer from TDP government for white card holders in the state.
This would come with its Chandranna gift for Sankranthi 2015 where they get some essentials for festival at least prices. Needless to say, the hungama of Pro-TDP media as if it is a revolutionary idea implemented by TDP for the first time ever has taken a few aback.
One such person is the reportedly stunned Ananthapur MP and TDP leader JC Diwakar Reddy. He has said in public that even previous Congress governments have done similar things, but never before he has seen such publicity and hype being created.
His fellow TDP leaders have reportedly conveyed him, well this TDP and the Pro-TDP media! It goes to show that doing a gesture is not important but it is also important to know how to package and promote it to get the right brand.

In fact Asin has put on lot of weight due to schedule gaps and those old scenes will not match with her present physique. Though director is rubbishing this news as a rumour, Asin is said to be delaying the filming of movie as she is on a marathon to lose some kilograms at the earlier.

Star Heroine To Turn Monk In Real Life?
This is some sort of bad news for her fans, as she is desiring to remain bachelor for life before turning a monk. We are talking about a interesting news doing rounds about pretty siren Nayantara, whose comeback to movies isn’t so celebrated but still traveling on a positive note.
Kollywood sources are abuzz that Nayantara is planning to turn into a ‘sanyasin’ (monk) for life. Recently when she is been to Gangotri to shot for a movie, she met couple of Hindu sanyasins at a temple and their preaching has influenced her a lot.
Long back, Nayan converted to Hinduism from Christianity and now she is planning to take the oath of celibacy. Probably after couple of failed heartily affairs with celebs like Simbu and Prabhudeva, our hottie has lost hope on love. However, Nayan is yet to respond on these rumours. –
No ‘Commissioner of Police’ for AP’s largest City
Following the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, Vizag has emerged as the largest city in the residuary state. And yet, the city still does not have a police commissioner! Strange, but true!
Atul Singh based in Hyderabad is still the acting chief for Vizag which brings us to the question of when Chandrababu is going to appoint a commissioner for Vizag? Needless to say, without a CP in place, the law and order in the city is entirely in the hands of the politicians.
That there has been no untoward incident to date is more a reflection on the peaceful nature of the people of the city than anything else. But continuing to depend on luck rather than having a proper person at the helm can only lead to disaster.
And by the way, this is the city which Naidu wants to make a ‘smart city’ in conjunction with the US. So, for all of you who are nonplussed by what exactly a ‘smart city’ means, for starters here is a clue: ‘A Smart City does not have a Commissioner of Police’.
Disgusting: Are You Watching This Chakri?
‘My husband was killed by his mother and sister for property’ – Chakri’s wife. ‘My brother was killed by his wife who used to frequent casinos’ – Chakri’s brother and rest of family. Well, great philosopher Karl Marx’s theory was that all human relations were basically financial in nature, even if meant barter of goods and services.
One cannot help but be reminded of his now famous words if one sees how late Chakri’s family is fighting it out on world-wide television. His wife on one side and his mother and the rest of his family on the other side have been making allegations and counter allegations for being indirectly responsible for the music director’s death.
Also, they are openly washing the dirty linen without once thinking about him or his memory. In fact, both parties claim that they are fighting it out owning to the love and respect they have for him. Of course, we are not the ones to decide who is wrong or who is right. But one thing is pretty obvious though. According to Indian marriage system, a lawfully wedded wife is entitled to the property of her husband after his death.
Wonder why this little and very obvious point is not understood by his wailing mother and rest of his family including his brothers and sisters? Legally, Chakri’s wife has all rights to assess his bank cards, accounts and other movable and immovable property. She is one who is the rightful heir to his property and not the rest of the family including his mother.
In fact, even if he had any pending loans etc, his wife would be solely responsible for their repayment. Why then is his family not letting the matter rest? Why are they making a public spectacle of an issue that does not involve them? Why are both parties desperately trying to prove that their version is right?
Of course, somebody else’s family feud is always entertaining and it does get a lot of TRPs. But apart from helping channels get instant TRPs, what actual purpose does this public fighting solve? By calling names and blaming each other, they are only making their future lives miserable as no one will forget the drama that has been dragging on since Chakri’s death, for a long, long time.
SC sensational judgment :Granted voting rights for NRI’s.
Supreme Court of India passed a sensational judgment today. SC passes the judgment on giving voting eligibility to the non-resident Indians. The Supreme Court on Monday directed the Central government to implement e-voting facilities for Non-Resident Indians (NRI) within eight weeks.
The apex court passed the order in response to a plea filed by Pravasi Bharat chairman Nagender Chindam seeking voting rights for the NRIs.The SC trailed the petition put forward by NRIs and ordered EC to do the needful. This has been a long standing petition with NRIs.
Henceforth the NRIs will vote through the e-voting facility. Earlier, in 2010, NRIs were granted voting rights provided they were physically present in their respective constituencies during polls.
In the new process NRIs will be sent ballot papers electronically and they will have to return it to poll authorities physically. This would be helpful for 11 million NRIs globally .From now they will participate in elections without having to travel to India for the purpose.
