The Original Hindi film did not have so much of scope for comedy but the Telugu makers have made some changes according to our nativity and designed Posani’s character. The makers have charted biggest possible release for the movie.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan campaigned aggressively for TDP-BJP combine in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in the last election and said to have played a crucial role in their poll gains. After the elections there are talks of Pawan Kalyan leading BJP in 2019 elections. But it is said that Pawan Kalyan is not fit to be a leader.

This is not a comment by any anti-fan but the Powerstar himself. Going in to the details, Sekhar Kammula directed ‘Leader’ with Daggubati Rana. The movie is Rana’s debut film in which he fights against political corruption to bring a change in the state. It is now revealed that Kammula first wanted to make Leader with Pawan Kalyan.

He approached Powerstar with this script and narrated to him. It is said that Pawan Kalyan liked the script immensely but felt he will not be fit for the ‘Leader’ role. However it is said that Pawan Kalyan fully appreciated Sekhar Kammula for the honest script.

Leader happened around 2009. It was then Pawan Kalyan is fully down with the miserable defeat of Praja Rajyam Party. He is then in no mood to attempt such script. However it may be a very apt script for the actor in the ongoing scenario. Anyways a chance missed!

Married Couple Can Have Sex In Jail

Punjab and Haryana High Court in a historic verdict allowed jail inmates to have sex with their inmates as long as they are married and interested in having a child.

Justice Surya Kant of the High Court passed the orders which was made public on Tuesday while disposing petition filed by couple Jasvir Singh and Sonia who are currently put in Central Jail, Patiala.

The couple were sentenced to death by a trial court for kidnapping and killing at 16 year old rich boy from Hoshiarpur, for a hefty ransom. Court held that it was a fundamental right of inmates to have conjugal visits or artificial insemination for progeny.

A Car Full Of Currency Bundles on High Way!

In a shocking incident, huge number of currency bundles were spotted on Salem (Tamil Nadu) – Kochi (Kerala) highway on Thursday. It all happened when a car and bus coming in the opposite directions had head-on collision accidentally. Car driver and a passenger in car escaped with minor injuries.

As soon as the accident happened, the cars doors opened instantly and startling currency bundles of Rs 500 were scatted on the road to everyone’s surprise. Shocked to see this, the bus driver and others informed the police about the incident. Coming to know about this, people in nearby villages rushed to spot and took away as much as currency bundles possible.

Besides in the car doors, notes bundles were stocked inside seats replacing the sponge. Before the cops step in, the locales fled away with the found currency. After reaching the spot, cops took control of the situation and confiscated the money and handed it over to IT sleuths.

After interrogating other people in car aboard, they revealed that railway catering contractor Musthafa in Erode district has directed them to transfer this Rs 2.55 Crore amount to Malappuram of Kerala. Cops are suspecting that the money is being transferred to terrorists and immediately directed local police to arrest Musthafa. A detail investigation in the whole matter is under way.

Actor Nani who has had tough time in the year 2014 seems to be moving ahead in the new year. The Eega star will soon be teaming up with director Maruthi for his upcoming film. Yet-to-be-titled, the movie is under per-production phase. Heroine Sri Divya, of Bus Stop fame, is being considered for the female lead opposite Nani.

Given that Divya already proved her acting prowess in Telugu with Mallela Theeramlo and turned a successful heroine in Tamil, she is considered as the best choice. Although Maruthi rose to fame with his debut Ee Rojullo, he is branded as “Bootu” director as his films were popular for double-entered dialogues, bold content.

Though Maruthi continue to clarify it, this image continue to haunt him. It needs to be seen how his upcoming film with Nani in the lead would be etched. If all goes well, the movie will go onto floors very shortly.

Actor-politician Shivaji has given a call to all the MLAs of the new state of Andhra Pradesh. In a video message, he pressed the urgent demand to set up toilets in public places in order to have clean and safe environment.

Lauding the efforts of AP Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao who set up public toilets in his constituency, Shivaji lashed out at all other MLAs of the house for not taking such initiative. Indirectly taking dig at Chandrababu Naidu’s brainchild slogans like “Hitech” capital,

“Singporean” capital and “Japanese model” capital, Shivaji asked all the legislators to first look at establishing cleaner surroundings before “promising” world-class capital. But what Shivaji seems to have conveniently forgotten is that it’s Chandrababu who initiated such activities like “Neeru Meeru”, “Pachchadanam Parisubhrata”, “Janmabhoomi” even before Narendra Modi could think of “Swachh Bharat”.

Prestigious educational institutions Birla Institute of Technology &Science (BITS) has come forward to set up its unit in ‘port city’ Visakhapatnam. Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla who met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday in Hyderbad, promised full support to the truncated state of AP.

While BITS already has four campuses in Pilani, Dubai, Goa and Hyderabad, this will be its fifth unit across the globe. What’s significant in Vizag campus is that Birla’s first international school would be set up in Vizag along with its proposed higher educational institution.

Meanwhile, Mr Kumar Mangalam also expressed his interest to invest in the new state. He has confirmed Chief Minister his wish to set up Cement Factory in the capital city Guntur. Brila will be starting its Ultra Cement Factory at Dachepalli Mandal, Madinapadu of Guntur.

“I” Story: Court Says No Till Jan 30th

Despite of any appeals that are likely to be made by producer Aascar Films and Reliance Entertainment together, Madras High Court is unlikely to bend over their orders that the release of Shankar’s marvellous film “I” should be stalled till January 30th.

Earlier, Madras High Court has ordered producers to hold the release as they have violated a commercial and financial agreement with the Chennai based company Picturehouse Pvt Ltd, which was supposed to be the financier of the movie.

This company is owned by none other popular businessman PVP aka Potluri Vara Prasad. Earlier director Shankar went on record to say that the film’s budget hasn’t escalated but is far below 100 crores.

However, the interests levied on the total loan has now accounted to a ‘lumsum’ amount and producers Ravichandran and Ramesh Babu of Aascar films have failed to clear a part of the loan before the release. Agreeing with the petition lodged by Picturehouse Media, Court has now issued an interim injunction order to all the distributors, labs and digital projection companies asscoaited wtih the release of “I”.

Sri Lanka Presidential Election: Rajapaksa Accepts His Defeat

Sri Lankan incumbent President Mahinda Rajapaksa on Friday conceded defeat in the country’s presidential election, which the counting of votes so far showed in favour of opposition challenger Maithripala Sirisena and if this is anything to go by, Maithripala is all set to win with a good majority.

Accepting the defeat, Mahindra Rajapaksa had already left his ‘official’ residence and off to his own residence. The new president of Sri Lanka will be sworn in today evening. ‘The president conceded defeat at a meeting with opposition leader Ranil Wickremesinghe and the new president will be sworn in this evening,’ an official at the president’s office said in a statement.

It may be noted that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his co-star and Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez have campaigned for Rajapaksa during the presidential elections in the neighboring nation but in vain as the result is against to it.

In fact, Salman also received flak from Tamils across the country for rallying for Rajapaksa who allegedly behind several war crimes and even wiped out LTTE.
