Shocker: YS Jagan’s lawyer meets CBN at Secretariat
Prominent lawyer, former union minister for law Ram Jethmalani called on Chief Minister of AP Chandrababu Naidu at his chambers in AP Secretariat in Hyderabad.Though the details of the meeting was not revealed to public the meet of the renowned lawyer and Chief Minister raising several eye brows.
Its known that Ram Jethamalani earlier argued in Jagan’s illegal assets case and he said that the arrest of the YSR Congress president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was illegal. Known for taking up high-profile cases and often landing in trouble for defending notorious criminals and wrong-doers, Ram Jethmalani argued Jagan’s case in the apex court.
In 2012 he met YSRCP president in Chanchalguda jail along with Jagan’s close aide, auditor Vijay Sai Reddy.The 88 year old maverick lawyer and former Union Minister has earned the dubious reputation for defending people like the killers of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Harshad Mehta, Haji Mastan and Manu Sharma.Now Jethmalani’s unexpected meet with his clients arch rival turned as hot debate among political circles.
Rajamouli was blown away by him!!
Well, the most stunning director of Tollywood who made a mark with Eega on Indian Cinema, SS Rajamouli, seems to be blown away by the wondrous movie “I” directed by the versatile director Shankar and his style of film-making. Rajamouli has gone into his past, reveals his excitment and love for Shankar’s direction.
Rajamouli says ” Working as an assistant director, my team members used to have long discussions on how Shankar picturized that song (Muqala Muqabula).” Rajamouli also said “After releasing first look, first teaser, theatrical trailer and many such videos relating to ‘I,’ the excitement is same in everyone because Shankar did not reveal the story or point on which this film is really made.”
He revealed his excitement about what I will be like and said “He did not leave any clue on what the film is all about. I keenly observed each and every frame of ‘I’ trailer to understand the technical excellence of Shankar. Like everyone, I am also waiting for the release.”
Saina Angry With Padma Snub
Hyderabadi star Saina Nehwal who did India proud by winning many championships and Olympic bronze medal in Badminton expressed her anger after Sports Ministry rejected her application for the prestigious Padma Bhushan award this year citing norms. Badminton Association of India (BAI) earlier recommended Saina Nehwal’s name for the award to the Sports Ministry in August last year.
Sports Ministry however selected wrestler Sushil Kumar, two time Olympic medal winner. Saina who won Padmasri award in 2010 questioned why the same guidelines which are applied for her was not applied for Sushil Kumar.
Sports Ministry while rejecting Saina’s application mentioned the guidelines which say hat there needs to be a gap of five years between two Padma awards.Infact Sushil Kumar won Padmasrhi in 2011. Even earlier Telangana Govt chose to ignore Saina Nehwal, when it made Sania Mirza, the state’s brand ambassador.
Manoj to play RGV on Screen
According to grapevine, actor Manoj Baj Pai is going to play Ram Gopal Varma on screen. The buzz is that Manoj has agreed to act in the Hindi remake of Telugu movie “A Shyam Gopal Varma Film” and he will be the lead protagonist. Director Rakesh Srinivas, who directed the original, claims that he narrated the film to Manoj to which he agreed instantly.
Rakesh claims that a Bollywood production house will dole out money for the film and its publicity and he adds that he will be wielding the film in Hindi version as well. Interestingly, it’s Ram Gopal Varma who launched versatile actor Manoj Baj Pai with his classic cult Satya and the film is considered as one of the all time classics in the history of Indian cinema and even placed among best films world-wide.
Manoj often considers Ramu as his “God Father” and it’s still doubt whether Manoj agreed to step into the shoes of RGV. Meanwhile, the response to its Telugu version is poor as the film received mixed reviews. The satire movie failed to create enough buzz.
Nagarjuna Waiting For KCR’s Promise
If you are familiar with what’s happening in Akkineni Nagarjuna’s life then you would know that post bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, he had a bumpy ride regarding his N-Convention premises. The Telangana government tagged it as an encroached construction. Some also said it was the Telangana CM KCR’s personal vendetta against Nag.
Of course, the issue seems to be settled now. Meanwhile, Nag seems to be waiting for something else from KCR. Recently, he was sharing his thoughts with a contestant in his happening show ‘Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu’. It was about the Moosi river and Hussain Sagar lake.
On one side, the Moosi river is fresh but when it comes to the city, pollutants from industries damage it completely and that is why it has dried up. At one point, KCR vowed that he would scavenge it entirely and ensure the Moosi flows just like before with fresh water.
He said something similar about Hussain Sagar wherein the entire water will be removed, the bed at the bottom will be cleaned and the total lake will be scavenged. Nag reportedly mentioned that he is really waiting for that day when KCR will fulfill his promise. Wonder what the Telangana CM has to say to this.
Avika Loves Her Dog More Than Her Parents
Yes, you heard it right. This heroine got the name of her dog inked on her back to showcase her love. Probably anyone would post a picture of her pet to show how much they love it, but cute sensation Avika Gor is something different from what everyone does. In an exclusive interview Avika revealed that she loves her dog Sheero more than her father and mother.
“I love my dog like anything. I got her name inked as a tattoo on my back. On December 26th ever year I do celebrate her birthday too”, says an excited Avika. Probably this is the best answer that highlights that she is just 17 year old and needs more maturity while revealing certain stuff.
Who loves a dog more than father and mother? After getting shot to fame with ‘Uyyala Jampala’, Avika Gor became a sort after actress as she starred in ‘Lakshmi Raave Ma Intiki’. Though her second venture flopped, offers are flooding her pocket.
Only Oldies Leaving YSRCP, Why?
YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy received severe jolt. Even his own party leaders are left to wonder whether the current developments in his own district Kadapa is refusing his popularity. Kandula brothers shocked all by preparing to join BJP. Not only in YSRCP but also in Kadapa district, Kandula brothers are becoming the talking point.
YSRCP’s morale received a beating with many leaders preparing to leave the party. Sources say bleak future and disenchantment with party President Jagan Mohan Reddy are the main reason for leaders leaving the party. A senior YSRCP leader on condition of anonymity revealed the secret behind Kandula brothers and many others leaving the party.
He says all those who are ditching the party are around 50-60 yrs and they cannot be in opposition for five years. Even after five years they are not sure of the future.They cannot recover if party position do not improve even after five years. Since most of them are industrialists they have their own strategies. To the top of it BJP is concentrating on Andhra Pradesh and they feel joining BJP will be beneficial to them.
Boat Blast Is Just A Sample
We are a peace loving nation with a very secular and democratic approach but that doesn’t seem to be the same mindset of our neighbour Pakistan. Time and again, they have been causing a lot of trouble with their terror activities.
The latest in that list is the boat spotted near the Gujarat coast comprising of high quantity of explosives and terrorists. Fortunately, the terrorists blew themselves and the boat before they were apprehended but the intelligence officials say this is just a sample.
Apparently, the terror masterminds based in Pakistan have reportedly come up with a series of such teams which would enter India before January 26th and create mayhem. With the US President Obama attending the Republic Day Parade as the Chief Guest, Pakistan terrorists is keen to create more bloodshed and terror.
The inside intelligence is that about nine teams are preparing to unleash their mindless attacks. The constant firing by the Pakistani Rangers in the last few days is a clear indication that it is just a cover fire for the groups to infiltrate into Indian territories.
Tsunami Star Subhash – Who’s The Target?
A look at the trailer of Kalyan Ram’s ‘Pataas’ is wondering comedy lovers as they are stunned by the characterization of MS Narayana in the movie. His name in the flick is Tsunami Star Subhash and at the end of trailer he quips ‘Yei… Nuvvu vesesav’ dialogue. And this is giving enough indications that MS’ character is targeting Mahesh Babu’s mannerisms.
Tsunami Star Subhash rhymes exactly with the name Super Star Mahesh and then MS Narayana takes on dialogues spoken by Mahesh in Aagadu. But why imitating a big star like Mahesh? Earlier in ‘Dookudu’, MS Narayana imitated Jr NTR and Balayya’s dialogues to create maximum fun.
Probably in retaliation to that usage of Nandamuri heroes, maybe Nandamuri hero Kalyan Ram has taken on Mahesh now. If all this comedy is happening on a healthier note, then definitely it is a fun to watch. Otherwise lets hope, this comedy doesn’t brews into a controversy.
