Pic Talk: Andhrawala becomes Autowala
In the picture is Young Tiger NTR and director Puri Jagannadh in a deep discussion in one of the autos in Hyderabad city. Puri posted the photograph on his Twitter account a short while ago. The shooting of the movie which was put on hold for a long time due to financial issues, is now going on at a brisk pace.
The makers are targeting February 5th release for the movie. The first look posters and teaser of the movie has increased expectations on the film. NTR and Puri Jagannadh earlier teamed up for Andhrawala several years ago. There were huge expectations on the movie as it came after a blockbuster,Simhadri. But the film was an utter flop.
Later on a film in their combination was on cards for several times but that did not happen. Puri wants to make amends for Andhrawala mistake with this new project. Bandla Ganesh will be producing this project under his Parameswara Arts banner. Vakkantham Vamsi is providing the story.
Sekhar Kammula to handle a star for the first time!
Sekhar Kammula has always worked with new comers for his projects. The only star material he dealt with so far is Rana Daggubati for Leader. But now it is said that he may direct Stylish Star Allu Arjun very soon. According to the buzz in the Filmnagar, the talks are on for a while and now reached advanced stage. It is said that the actor has given his nod for the subject. Sekhar Kammula has to come up with the bound script before finalizing every thing.
Kammula is currently busy with the Hindi remake of his Telugu blockbuster, Happy Days which also marks his Bollywood debut. Kammula is out of the success stream for a long time. Leader was an average followed by two back to back failures in the form of Life is Beautiful and Anamika. On the other side, Allu Arjun is riding high with the super success of Race Gurram.
The movie garnered a share of 50 Crore plus and ended up as the biggest hit in the actor’s career and his first 50 Crore share film. The actor is currently doing a film in the direction of Trivikram Srinivas who just delivered an industry hit, Attarintiki Daredi with his last outing.

A baby girl has just descended from the ‘skies’ into their life.’ Suri and Udita Goswami got married in a star-studded ceremony in 2013 after dating for nine years. Mohit Suri is one of the top director in Bollywood and he has directed successful films like Kalyug, Murder 2, Aashique 2 and Villain.

Jr Artiste Held For Prostitution
Hyderabad police have busted yet another prostitution racket. LB Nagar police has raided the prostitution centres in Vanasthalipuram of city.
Acting on a tip off, cops busted one such prostitution racket being held in an apartment. Four women, two men and a junior artiste were held for prostitution. Cops have booked cases against all. The women were sent to rescue home.
Of late, such cases of flesh trade are on rise. Even police admitted that the cases are reported more in the outskirts of Hyderabad and more in the apartments. They stated that they’re committed to wipe out such teams and asked people to cooperate to them.
Ilayaraja Serves Legal Notices To Shankar
South India’s leading filmmaker Shankar got into the bad books of none other than Maestro Ilayaraja. The issue is regarding the copy-rights of a popular song! Apparently, Shankar is known to be active as producer since the past few years. His latest Tamil production ‘Kappal’ starring Vaibhav has hit the screens recently.
In this flick, Ilayaraja’s chartbuster song ‘Ooru Veetu Ooru Vanthu’ from ‘Karakatakaran’ has been used without seeking prior permission from the composer. Now, Ilayaraja has sent a legal notice to Shankar demanding compensation for using his product.
He also warned ‘S Pictures’, the production house owned by Shankar, to either remove the song from ‘Kappal’ or facing legal action. In response to the legal notice, S Pictures clarified that it had acquired the rights of the song from the music label which released ‘Karakatakaran’ into market.
Actress Asin’s Property To Be Auctioned?
Local Court in Kerala ordered auction of actress Asin’s double bedroom flat. Asin after attaining stardom in South entered Bollywood. After shaking Bollywood box office with Gajini, Asin featured in few films before disappearing from the silver screen.
Asin has a double bedroom flat near Ravipuram, Kochi in kerala. The flat’s decoration and maintenance is maintained by a private company headed by Jayalakshmi. However Asin failed to pay the dues which amounted to Rs 10 lakhs.
Peeved at Asin’s behavior, Jayalakshmi approached local court. Ernakulam Court after hearing the complaint directed Asin to clear the dues by 14 Jan. It warned Asin that if she fails to do so, her property would be auctioned.
Get High Speed Internet For Just Rs 150 in AP!
AP Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has given its consent to ‘Fiber Grid Project’ which paves way for the state-of-the-art optical fibre network in the 13 Seemandhra Districts. This project felicitates Internet access for 1.3 Crore Homes in the state at a speed of 10-15 Mbps. For internet connection, Just Rs 150 per Home will be collected by the Government.
Government have plans to register Andhra Pradesh Fiber Grid Corporation as a public company. The Fiber Grid Project aims providing optical fibre network to villages and remote places as well. Rs 10 crore has been allotted for this ambitious project as initial investment.
Barely two months ago, Chandrababu Naidu openly announced his plans to provide internet access to all the homes in Andhra Pradesh. The ‘Fiber Grid Project’ is his first step towards fulfilling his promise. On any day, Naidu is the best tech-savvy CM this country has ever seen!
