Chandrababu Naidu’s scion and TDP Coordinator for Cadre Welfare Fund Nara Lokesh has expressed his wish to be in fray in the next Assembly elections provided God’s grace and blessings. Lokesh stated that he’d contest in 2019 elections if all goes well. When asked whether he’d contest in Tirupati by-election as sitting MLA Venkataramana breathed his last following heart-attack, Lokesh said, “The tradition is to pass on the seat to the bereaved family members.

So, I will not contest in by-election.” He added that he would contest general election directly. Lokesh in his usual style lashed out at leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He pointed out, “Jagan had stated that loan waiver is impossible before elections and now he is demanding government to fulfill its promise. No doubt, we’re committed to waive off all loans. 

Despite severe financial crunch, we managed to waive off part of the loans and we’ll completely waive off the remaining amount as well.” Lokesh was in Machilipatnam of Krishna district on Monday to inaugurate a garment industry in Bommiluru of Gudivada. Lokesh gave a call to young entrepreneurs to set up industries in every nook and corner of villages and small towns as it’d increase the employment opportunities.

With the fields of farmers in Tadepalli and Thullur mandals, in the proposed new capital region, put to flames by unidentified men on early Monday morning and allegations are rife that AP government is forcing farmers for lands, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is said to be deeply upset. He is now mulling over to keep Undavalli and Tadepalli villages out of capital zone and announce them under Green Belt policy so that the lands of farmers would remain with them and industries, institutions would not be set up in that specific Green Belt area so that the total land is left for the cultivation of agriculture.

“Out of total 29 villages, the problem is said to be with only two villages and government wants to announce those two villages under Green Belt and wants to initiatae dialogue with few other villages to which have few reservations, doubts on LPS. CM Chandrababu Naidu is very upset on the issue and ordered to take stern action against culprits,” said a source in the know. “Chandrababu Naidu has spoken to the Sarpanchs of the villages over phone and directed them to convey the farmers that government is in favour of them and said that it will no way force farmers for their lands.

In return, Naidu assured all sort of help and said that all the culprits behind this sabotage would be kept behind the bars. Also Babu told them that if farmers are not willing to share their lands, he has no qualms but keep it out of capital zone as asked by farmers,” added source. Chandrababu added that capital should be created with acceptance, love but not with revolts, fights. 

We hear that nothing has been confirmed so far, but Naidu is considering the option of keeping the contentious villages out of the AP Capital Zone. The miscreants had burnt the bamboo stocks, vegetable gardens, greenhouses, huts and grass in the fields. A number of poles were gutted damaging banana plantations causing heavy damage to the farmers in the region. Farmers of villages Penumaka, Lingayapalem, Mandadam, Venkatapalam and Rayapudi paid hefty price. 

Meanwhile, DGP Ramudu has submitted first report on the most controversial issue to the Chief Minister Office. It is reliably learnt that DGP highlighted several interesting, curious elements in his report. Although the farmers of the three villages Lingayapalem, Mandadam and Rayapudi of Thullur are in lieu with the government’s Land Pooilng System but still their fields were consigned to flames raising suspicion of the foul play by anti-government forces. CMO is keenly observing the report and an official statement will soon be made.

After a long time, former PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana interacted with media and when was asked about joining BJP, he reportedly gave a rather interesting reply saying why would a party like BJP want a person like him who lost during the recent elections. 

Moreover he also made it clear that he hasn’t received g any feelers from BJP and in the meanwhile he started criticizing those who were allegedly behind the burning of the farms of people who had refused to part with their lands for the new capital of AP. 

Incidentally, today Botsa was seen Congress office after a very long time and participated actively in the activities there. The grapevine is that Botsa couldn’t strike a deal with the BJP and hence now he is trying to put up a brave face as if nothing has happened and he is always a loyal Congressman!
