Chowdary-Naidu Feelings Of Telugu Directors
Is Telugu Film Industry caste biased? General outlook is that only people who hail from the castes of Kamma (Chowdary) and Kapu (Naidu) get offers here as those two caste-based producers, directors and heroes have occupied the fore. Though there are stars from many other castes too, focus always shifts onto these two said-to-be warring factions. Surprisingly, comments of two directors have ignited a row about these caste based remarks, claims and unneeded flattery.
A director who hails from Kamma community has made some caste-based comments, highlighting his caste and then pointing out at a star mass hero. It took no time for neutral fans and caste-based fans take sides and start a war on his Facebook page. That finally led the director to deactivate his FB page before claiming with everyone that his page got hacked. Ironically this struggling director has recently delivered a ‘mega’ hit with a newcomer. Another popular ‘boothu’ director from Kapu clan has gone on-record at an audio function to say that fans are just caste based in Tollywood.
Will the caste-feeling, caste-loving proud talks of these creative directors really nourish any profits? Frankly speaking, creativity and passion is a couple in Telugu Film Industry but not these castes. NTR and Dasari delivered classics, while Chiranjeevi and Raghavendra Rao come up with industry hits. We have Vinayak and NTR creating wonders at box office, while Rajamouli and Charan made the latest industry hit.
All these duos hail from so called warring Kamma-Kapu faction, but never had they acknowledged these castes or any biased talks. Time for few arrogant caste-loving film makers to come out of their shell to have a look at the liberal world that honors creativity and awards respect basing on results not castes. It’s foolish to hover around caste in this digital age of advancement and growth.

Ileana revealed that she want to act without makeup, no matter what her fans will think.

Jagan’s “Joke of the month”, say his followers!
It is a known fact that the YSRCP boss YS Jaganmohan Reddy was till recently a potent force in the state of Andhra Pradesh but the tables have turned today and even his supporters are dismissing him at least for now.
Once it was believed that Jagan would rule Vizag and surrounding regions with electrical success, but the scenario was terrible with Vijayamma getting defeated by 1-lakh margin votes and then the exit of Daadi and recently Konathala from rural Vizag. In fact, TDP secured most Assembly constituencies here and boosted BJP’s Hari Babu’s success and after Cyclone Hudhud, the region is in awe of AP CM Chandrababu for his efficient disaster management.
Now Jagan who has hardly any strong leaders left has vowed to capture Vizag Mayor Post soon by securing victory in Vizag corporation elections that would be held soon. Jagan’s followers are having the last laugh and feel he hasn’t changed a bit! They call it Jagan’s joke of the month.

Would like to dedicate ‘Rough’ to Srihari: Aadi
Aadi Pudipeddi, who plays the lead in forthcoming Telugu actioner “Rough”, which releases in cinemas Friday after much delay, says the film would be a fitting tribute to the late actor Srihari, who has played an important role in it. “It’s very unfortunate that we’ve lost Srihari, who has played a pivotal role in the film. I would like to dedicate ‘Rough’ to him.
It should be a fitting tribute to him,” Aadi told IANS. Popular for films such as “Magadheera”, “Dhee” and “King”, Srihari passed away in October last year. Directed by C.H. Subba Reddy, “Rough” stars Rakul Preet Singh as well. “Srihari plays Rakul’s brother in the film.
It’s a funny yet powerful role and I’m certain audiences are going to love it,” he said. The film also features M.S. Narayana, Raghu Babu, Jayaprakash Reddy and Suhasini in important roles.
Mahesh And Nani’s Unique 2014 Record
Two happening heroes. One is known for his super stardom and other one is minimum guarantee hero who never disappoints producers. Unfortunately they have disappointed two times back to back in the same year, scoring a unique record. You might have already understood that we are talking about Superstar Mahesh and dashing hero Nani, and their flop flicks delivered this year, 2014.
In a bid to deliver a different type experience, Mahesh has come up with a novel film for Sankranthi 2014, Sukumar’s ‘1 Nenokkadine’. Surprisingly audiences failed to connect to the movie as they couldn’t really figure out when Mahesh is talking for real and when he is imagining inside the movie. That kept a full stop to his swing as he jumped into action since Dookudu and continued it with Seethamma Vaakitlo. To end the dry-days, ‘Aagadu’ has hit like a monsoon rain, but it didn’t even last for a weekend.
Though a typical formulaic commercial movie, overdose of dialogues and repetition of predictable Vytla style scenes led to collapse. With these two happening, for the first time ever, Mahesh delivered two flops in the same year. Nani too experienced similar fate at box office as his delayed movie ‘Paisa’ didn’t lived up to hype. Krishna Vamsi failed to hook audiences to seats or grab their eyeballs with his unique visuals.
That has given Nani the bigger blow, while the much hyped Yash Raj Films’ first south venture ‘Aaha Kalyanam’ too bombed with first day first show. Suddenly this promising hero has fallen into dilemma, and is on the verge of release third movie of the year, as ‘Jendapai Kapiraju’ gets ready for a release soon. Taking a stroll through the most unexpected flops of their career, these two heroes are now working hard to entertain cine lovers next year. A fall doesn’t matter, but everyone is worried if you don’t get up. Hope Mahesh and Nani bounce back strongly!!
