Mahesh Babu To Adopt A Village In AP?
Superstar Mahesh Babu is known more for his star image and an appeal as an actor but his other side as a person or someone who does something to the society has always been kept under wraps. But now, an inside news is coming wherein Mahesh seems to have taken the path of cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and megastar Chiranjeevi.
Apparently, master blaster Sachin went ahead and adopted Puttamraju Kandriga, a remote village in Nellore district. Later, it was Chiru who adopted a village near his hometown Mogalturu and 2 more villages in West Godavari adopted by Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. At the national level, the Gujarat CM Anandiben Patel adopted the Lilapur village in Ahmedabad district, Gujarat as an ideal village.
Now, the grapevine is that Mahesh Babu is also in the process. Incidentally, Mahesh’s Bava Galla Jayadev is the MP from Guntur and he is known a lot for his public service initiatives. Buzz is that with his coordination, Mahesh wants to adopt and develop a village in AP. Those who heard this say more remote the village the more name and goodwill Mahesh will get. Let us wait and see what happens on this one.
Ram Charan in mood for Romance
Ram Charan is yet to take a call on his next film. Although Srinu Vaitla is the frontrunner to direct Charan’s next, Mega Power Star hasn’t yet finalized it. Charan is also listening to other scripts. Recently Tamil star director Gautham Menon came with a proposal to remake his Yennai Arindhal in Telugu with Charan.
This film is being made in Tamil with Ajith Kumar in the lead. This is a cop story which has loads of action. Ram Charan smoothly rejected the offer as he is not willing to do an action film under Gautham’s direction. Gautham Menon is a specialist in making classic romantic films and Ram Charan wants to do something in the lines of Ye Maya Chesave with him.
As Ram Charan rejected the proposal of remaking Yennai Arindhal, Gautham is dubbing it in Telugu as Yenthavaadu Gaanie. Trisha and Anushka plays the female leads in this film that is slated for Sankranthi release. Yennai Arindhal will lock horns with Shankar’s I at Kollywood box office.
Star Hero Slams Media over Rumors On Ex-Wife
Giving all clues that they are talking about hunk hero Hrithik Roshan, his ex-wife Sussane and their family friend actor Arjun Rampal, a leading media house today wrote that the illicit affair of Arjun and Sussanne is what lead to Hrithik’s divorce and then the hearbreak of Arjun’s wife Mehr Jessia. Lambasting at this article, all the parties who are not named have responded in style. It is Hrithik Roshan who first came out in support of his former wife.
He reportedly posted on twitter, “If you people knew how much false news is printed, the papers would actually stop selling”. Similarly actor Arjun Rampal too vocalized his anger, saying “Bombay Times, who paid you? Who are these faceless accusers? If you have the guts reveal them first. Stay away from me and my family”.
And Sussane too joined the bandwagon of blasting the print house by releasing a press statement. “It is pure speculation and rumour mongering. Arjun and Mehr are good friends and been together. To poison a relationship is the most malicious behavior. Though I’ve stated in same paper that Arjun and I are just friends, why do they write this stuff again?”, Susanne asked. We have to see how our print media house responds.
Ganesh Offered 3 Cr For Young Hero?!
‘Blockbuster’ producer Bandla Ganesh was in news recently for as he is heard refusing to pay remuneration to both Jr NTR and Puri Jagan, but agreed to give them area rights. What is more surprising is that Ganesh might have showed empty hands to these super-stars but not to any upcoming heroes and directors.
This is what we heard exclusively from a team that delivered recent hit Karthikeya. With super-thriller Karthikeya scoring high at box office, Bandla Ganesh offered 3 crores for young hero Nikhil, a source in the know said. However, this 3 crores is not for the hero alone, but it would be divided among Nikhil and his director Chandu Mondeti.
Yes, Ganesh tried to bring the hit pair back for another flick and offered around 1.6+ crores for Nikhil and 1.3+ for director Chandu. But it seems like Nikhil is not available for Ganesh’s project due to his prior commitments and yet to take a call on this. On the flip side, Chandu is getting ready to narrate a story to Nagarjuna, his childhood hero.
KCR Is The Only Dedicated CM
Most of you are devotees of Lord Ganesh so you don’t require an introduction of the power and grace of the Khairatabad Ganesh who appears during the season and stays for nearly ten days before getting immersed in Hussain Sagar lake. But his presence seems to be in contrast with the policy given by Telangana CM KCR. A new request is now going to Rajendra, the chief architect of Khairatabad Ganesh.
Some Telangana intellectuals are reminding that KCR has come forward for the cleaning program of Hussain Sagar. So, the request for Rajendra is to introspect on whether increasing the height of Lord Ganesh each year is really required. They add that KCR is planning to come up with a new lake near Indira Park so that Hussain Sagar can be saved from further pollution. Given that policy, they are stating even Rajendra should spare a thought.
Another word of request and suggestion is also going to the hundreds of Vinayak Utsav committees to think positively instead of developing an atmosphere of competition. The past governments have only given statements that they will ‘clean’ Hussain Sagar but it is only KCR who is actually trying to implement it. Without any hiccups if this goes through then that’s more than sufficient. What say Mr Rajendra?
I’m Dying, So Wanted Luxury: KBR Park Shooter
In a shocking, startling revelation, the former greyhounds constable Obulesh, who is presently accused in the shootout at Banjara Hills KBR Park, has finally let the cat out of the bag. According to police, Obulesh said that he has been “suffering” from a “life-threatening” disease after working in greyhounds for 12-long-years.
This is said to be “compelling”, “driving” force behind Obuleh’s crime saga as he wanted to have “luxurious” life before he “succumbs” to the disease. Obulesh also admitted of stealing AK 47 from the department. In the remand report, Obulesh also said that he decided to make “easy money” by kidnapping wealthy people.
He admitted “kidnapping” a youth, happens to be grandson of ex IAS officer Kaki Madhava Rao with the help of AK 47 he had stolen from police department and later “left” him after receiving Rs 10 Lakh cash. Obulesh’s reason behind his crime story has come as a bolt out of the blue to many including his fellow police personnel. It’s indeed a true, sad story of a cop-turned-criminal.
Narendra Modi’s Wife Unhappy over Security
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s wife Jashodaben is back in news. This time around, she has filed an RTI application with Gujarat police (Mehsana district police) seeking clarity on security cover accorded to her at present and wanted to know what she is entitled to.
Expressing her unhappiness over security cover, in her application, Jashodaben asked the government to explain the definition of protocol and sought details about what is included under it and what other benefits she is entitled for as per that protocol.
She apparently pointed out that her guards travel in government vehicles like car, while, despite being a PM’s wife, she has to travel in public transport. ‘Today, she came to our office and filed an RTI to know about her rights as PM’s wife with regard to security cover.
We will give our written reply to her in stipulated time,’ said Mothalia, Mehsana SP. Jashodaben is currently living with her brother Ashok Modi at Unjha town of Mehsana district. After her husband Narendra Modi sworn in as PM, she has been provided security.
Nagarjuna not impressed with Vinayak?
Star director VV Vinayak has failed to impress Nagarjuna yet again. It is already reported that Vinayak has been finalized as the director for Akkineni Akhil’s debut film. Nagarjuna also has okayed the story line and made plans to launch Akhil’s film on Nov 24th. However, Vinayak and his team of writers have failed to come up with convincing climax for the film.
Nagarjuna is not willing to take any chances with the launch of his younger son. Nag had bitter experience with the debut film of Naga Chaitanya, who is still struggling to make it to the elite league. So Nagarjuna is very particular about every detail of Akhil’s film. He has once again made it clear to the team that they will go to the sets only after he is hundred percent convinced with the script.
Vinayak and his writers team is currently working on the climax and they will meet Nagarjuna soon to give another narration. Akhil’s film will be launched after getting a positive nod from Nagarjuna. In all likeliness, we could expect Akhil’s debut film to hit the screens for next Dussera.
Rs 60,000 Crore worth Entertainment City in AP
In what is considered one of India’s largest foreign investments in entertainment sector, the truncated state of Andhra Pradesh bagged a multi-billion dollar Entertainment City. If reports are to be believed, the Entertainment City, which comprises media city, an amusement park, commercial and residential spaces, hotels and leisure and healthcare facilities, will be built with humongous $ 5-10 billion dollar (approximately Rs 30,000 to 60,000 Crore).
The integrated media city will have pre-production, production and post-production facilities for film, TV and advertising industries. Renowned UK firm Eros Investments Ltd, a subsidiary of NYSE-listed Eros International Plc, has come forward to this and even signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The minimum investment would be $ 5 billion dollars and it would go upto $ 10 billion dollars. Buzz has it that the entertainment city would be set up near port city Visakhapatnam.
In a statement released by Chief Minister’s office, Chandrababu Naidu said the proposed investment by Eros would give huge boost to tourism and thus create employment, infrastructure and draw more investments into Andhra Pradesh, besides helping the services sector in the state earn revenues. On other hand, another Qatar-based Altani group is all set to dole out $ 10 billion (Rs 61,835 Crore) for the infrastructure in the new capital city.
A top management team of Altani group, with interests in roads, power and construction, has evinced interest in investing at least $10 billion, mostly in taking up projects for the state’s proposed new capital city between Vijayawada and Guntur. AP Communications Officer Parakala Prabhakar said, ‘The talks are in nascent phase. Yes, Qatar’s Altani group is interested in laying roads and other constructions, power generation. Their participation in projects will be worked out later through MoUs, agreements.’
