This may sound like strange news but AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has now reportedly got into the act. Sources say that just like how Naidu convinced Bill Clinton to land in Hyderabad in March 2000, the same is being planned again. 

With Andhra Pradesh all set to project Vizag as the destination of the future, and also Vizag being among the three smart cities chosen by the US for rapid development, experts feel this may not be impossible. With Obama accepting an invite to visit India, second time in his tenure, as the chief guest of India’s republic day on Jan 26, 2015, all eyes are now on Chandrababu. 

Sources say that Babu has begun hectic lobbying right from NRIs in USA to NDA rulers in Delhi. This includes even the Prime Minister and External affairs minister, US state department officials, US embassy and others. Naidu strongly believes that just like how MNCs rushed to Hyderabad after Bill Clinton’s visit, even Obama can push the same momentum.

AP Chief Minister CBN might have chance to meet US President Barak Obama in Delhi. Obama comes to India as Chief Guest for Indian Republic Celebrations. It seems that CBN is used this opportunity for the development of the state. In 2000, CBN brought then US President Bill Clinton to AP after meeting with him. AP officials are trying all efforts to make duo meeting possible with delegation of US Consulate officials. 

Vizag is one of the cities which will be developed with US Co-operation. CBN will explain to the Obama about Vizag and possible investments in the city. CBN will also discuss on Kovvada Atomic Thermal Power plant which is constructing with US technology. Principal Secretary of Municipal Development of AP Sambasiva Rao rushed towards Delhi to discuss with US Consulate. 

CBN has proposed to include 14 AP Cities in the list of 100 Cities whose development will take care by US. If their meeting is inevitable, CBN would request Barak Obama to start US Consulate either in Vijayawada or in Vizag. Reportedly, CBN will meet Foreign Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj after the completion of his Japan tour. It will become sensation if CBN meets Obama. None of the Chief Ministers were met US Presidents personally other than CBN.

AP opposition leader YS Jagan’s convoy vehicle met a small accident at at Kunchanapalli in Guntur district on Monday morning. Two vehicles collided against each other accidentally on Monday. A constable was injured in the event and was admitted to hospital immediately for treatment. Jagan’s convoy did not stop and it has reached Prakasam.

The convoy proceeded with remaining vehicles to Prakasham. YS Jagan would conduct meetings for two days to review the party’s performance in the elections in Prakasam district. Jagan Mohan reddy started from Hyderabad today morning for participating in the Praksam district tour. 

He is to reach Gannavaram by air and will be travelling on road to Guntur and later to Prakasam. Speaking at Prakasam Jagan tried to boost up confidence in party cadre.Speaking to the party cadre, Jagan said the difference between losing and winning in the elections was just 5 lakh votes. There was no big difference between the winner and the challenger.

Anisha Ambrose who made her filmy debut with a disaster film, Alias Janaki has got a stupendous offer to romance Pawan Kalyan in his upcoming mega project, Gabbar Singh-2. This has taken many as a surprise after several Top heroines including those from Bollywood were told to be in consideration. 

However it is said that lot of thinking has gone in to choosing Anisha for the film. Gabbar Singh-2 was delayed for several months for various reasons. Pawan Kalyan himself is one of the partner of the film through his friend Sharath Marar. In case of choosing a star heroine, the film may get further delayed due to dates issue. So Pawan Kalyan opted for a low key heroine Anisha Ambrose who will readily give dates whenever required. 

Pawan Kalyan himself involved in the script sessions of the movie. Power fame Bobby will be handling the project after Sampath Nandi’s exit. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. Pawan Kalyan’s friend Sharath Marar is producing the film on his North Star Entertainments Banner. Bollywood Production and distribution giant, Eros International bought a stake in Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh-2 and will be releasing the movie on their own in AP.

Political parties in Telnagana have concentrated on GHMC, Khammam and Karimnagar Corporation elections. Elections will likely to be held in early next year. Yesterday, there are two political developments happened in Telangana state. TDP and BJP alliance would continue in Telnagana. Leaders of two parties were discussed and extend their co-operation in Ranga Reddy MLC election, GHMC, Khammam and Karimnagar local polls. TDP gave support to BJP in MLC election. 

Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya meets AP Chief Minister CBN before the leaders announced the alliance pact. The second political development is Congress disconnected its political relationship with MIM. Party in charge Digvijay Singh has alleged that MIM has hidden friendship with BJP. Hyderabad leaders were strongly believed that Congress was lost its base completely because of MIM in old city. 

Now it’s inevitable for TRS to go with MIM in coming local body elections in GHMC, Khammam and Karimnagar Municipal elections. TRS impact is nominal in Hyderabad. The party certainly needs the alliance from other parties to fight in City War. TDP and BJP have showed impressive performance in last General elections. Both have strong cadre in GHMC. MIM is strong enough in Old city. We will wait how TRS would gain if it goes alliance with MIM.

Supreme Court on Monday set notices to Telanagna and Union Government over blackout of ABN-Andrajyothy channel in Telangana state and asked in its notice why ABN channel shouldn’t be telecast in Telangana. 

Supreme Court today heard two petitions alleging violation of rights by Government in directing MSOs blackout the channel and after hearing passed notices to Telangana government, Union Government, MSOs and other 15 players. 

It also passed notices to all district collectors, Hyderabad CP, MSO association asking them to reply with in three weeks. Court agreed with ABN’s argument that the ban violated constitutional rights. It agreed that though MSOs are private persons they should abide by the constitution.
