Shobha Nagireddy Daughter’s Nomination disqualified

Share
The daughter of late Shabha Nagireddy, Bhuma Mounika Reddy’s filed nomination for the by-election in Allagadda was disqualified by the election commission as it said that the leader did not attached the B-form. Mounika Reddy is the second daughter of Shobha Nagireddy, who died in an accident during the elections, and everything is going normal for her as no party planned to contest opposite in the segment.
But however, the fact is, this was the dummy nomination filed by Shobha Nagireddy’s second daughter Mounika Reddy as the original candidate and political successor is Bhuma Akhila Priya. The election commission said the nominations were disqualified of Mounika Reddy along with other four people.
Reportedly, no one has filed the nominations from other parties as only the YSRCP members applied to contest the by-election in various ways. So, as per analysts they may likely to withdraw their nominations tomorrow and it will almost be a unanimous election for Bhuma Akhila Priya.

‘Never really understood Diwali’ – KTR

Always Ramgopal Varma invites controvercies with his tweets on festivals, and Gods, Now its turn to Telangana IT minister son of Telangana CM KCR, KTR. Now, Telangana CM KCR’s son K T Rama Rao seems to have done something like that. Well, it was his wish for Diwali that caught the attention of many.
His wish goes like this – ‘Never really understood Diwali but for those who do: light it up & have a safe one’.
With this line, KTR has attracted everyone’s attention. Some of them are saying this is just like an RGV tweet, something different and interesting. It is nice to see politicians who are often very stern and strict showing a creative angle like this.

‘Kathhi’ Shock To Telugu Audiences

Share
Some critics have rated Vijjay’s yesterday release ‘Kathhi’ as one of those best commercial flicks ever made by Murugadoss with proper social message and take on evil in the society. But few objected that the film is quite preachy and philosophical without any tinge of entertainment. Whatever it maybe, a couple of Telugu heroes are said to be having different opinion about the flick.
Impressed by the points raised by Murugadoss through Vijay in ‘Kathhi’ second half, a couple of Telugu heroes are said to be showing huge interest in remaking this flick. Also Vijay’s dual role, one as conman and another one as an activist, are a challenge for any actor because they have to outperform themselves with these two opposite shaded characters. At a time when makers are already planning for October 31st release of Telugu dubbed version of ‘Kathhi’, surely this is a deadlock situation. Also it will shock for Telugu audiences who are waiting to see Murugadoss marvel on silver screen by next week.

Chandrababu’s Madison In Vizag

Share
Till sometime back, the place Madison square garden in the USA was famous only for the NBA Basketball and other sports but now it has gained a lot of significance due to the speech of one man. He is none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is the first time that a foreign leader has gathered such strong crowds on American soil.
Meanwhile, a Madison like environment was also seen in Andhra Pradesh recently. This is in the city of Vizag and the man to make that happen is AP CM Chandrababu Naidu. In response to the Hudhud Cyclone relief measures and solidarity, Naidu took up a light walk on the eve of Diwali.
The Public response was very good for his light walk and right now a spirit of togetherness and unity is being seen in the steel city after the havoc all have seen by the cyclone. From his end, Naidu has tightened all loose ends and is ensuring everyone is together in this mission against the natural calamity.

Dull Diwali in Andhra Pradesh

Share
Apart from claiming over 40 lives in North Costal Andhra, severe cyclonic storm Hudhud has left a swathe of destruction with heavy rains and strong winds. Although state government did its best and acted swiftly, several parts of the four cyclone-battered districts Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, Vijayanagaram and East Godavari are yet to come back to normalcy and the devastating memories are haunting the people.
Official figures indicate that 41,269 houses were damaged by the Hudhud affecting over 1,837 villages. Besides 40 human lives, 3,000 animals, 24.43 lakh poultry were killed in natural calamity. Crops over 1.80 lakh hectares were also damaged. On whole, it’s estimated that 17.41 lakh families were directly hit by the cyclone.
With this, Andhra Pradesh is in a sad state of affairs and it’s definitely a dull Diwali for the state as sales of crackers have hit rock bottom. Not just sales of crackers, also there is steep decrease in the sales of garments, sweets, decoration items, household items etc. Many people are not in a festive mood in the state as several of their friends, relatives were hit by the cyclone. Also, government itself invited people to contribute money to CM Relief Fund rather than splurging for crackers. Several people have voluntarily dropped idea of celebrating Diwali in a grand and rich manner. Situation is more or less common in Rayalaseema too. This is perhaps the most “Noiseless ” and “Dull Diwali” in Andhra Pradesh in recent years.

Why Should Ram Charan React?

Share
As Dasari Narayana Rao has indirectly hinted that a big film kicked out Loukyam from theatres in as many as 30+ centres, our critics are busy publicizing that the veteran director has targeted Ram Charan again. And then, they want the Mega Powerstar to react on the issue. But mega fans are asking why Charan should really respond to Dasari’s satire or whatever on Govndudu Andarivadele.
“Ram Charan is a star hero and his films always release in 1000+ screens. It is the call of distributors and producer to find right theatres and accommodate the film in many centers to beget huge openings. But Charan will not personally go and fetch those theatres. So, if GAV has replaced Loukyam, then one should as local distributors”, says a mega fan. They add that distributors spend a bomb to acquire theatrical rights of Charan’s movie, and it is natural to grab theatres from other flicks as they have to recover money when the iron is hot.
“Which distributor won’t grab theatres to release Charan’s movie? Their point is to recover more money in first week. It is part and parcel of their business to acquire theatres somehow”, a fan quipped. If at all someone has to react on remark made by Dasari Narayana Rao on Govindudu Andarivadele, then producer Ganesh or distributors will speak up. But why Charan? Of course it is his movie, but business is taken care by someone else, say fans.

Venkaiah Naidu To Adopt Cyclone-Hit Village

Share
Visakhapatnam: Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu has decided to adopt a cyclone-affected village in Andhra Pradesh. The minister Thursday announced that he and his family members will adopt Chepalupada village and undertake rebuilding work. Venkiah Naidu said they were ready to spend any amount of money required for reconstruction of the village battered by cyclone Hudhud Oct 12.
He said he will provide Rs.25 lakh to the village from the MP Local Area Development Fund. Venkiah Naidu with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu led hundreds of citizens in a candle and torch light march Wednesday night to show solidarity with the cyclone victims. The minister said the central government was ready to provide more financial assistance to help Visakhapatnam get back to normalcy.
Venkiah Naidu said the central government was waiting for a proper assessment report on the destruction caused by the cyclone, after which more funds would be provided. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who visited cyclone-battered Visakhapatnam Oct 14, had announced Rs.1,000 crore as interim assistance to the state.

Nannapaneni’s ‘Naidu Bhajana’!

Share
Nannapaneni Rajakumari, Telugu Desam Party leader who speaks before she thinks started her familiar ‘Naidu Bhajana’ after meeting the latter. “Chandrababu Naidu is in a depression because he feels for the victims of ‘Hudhud’. He is also worried about making the capital city into a smart city.
Naidu is the only leader capable of putting Seemandhra on the path of development.” This indicates that Rajakumari is back to her sycophantic best especially in the wake of reports that she is miffed with Naidu for having denied her a Rajya Sabha seat, earlier this year.

Jagan warns Babu about that..?

Share
Apparently, Jagan has been demanding Babu to grant much of ex-gratia even to the fire crackers mishap suffering families. The Telugu Desam Party government in Andhra Pradesh have sorted out the two incidents differently and are approving according to the incident loss. “The State should announce a compensation of Rs 5 lakh to the family of the deceased member and an adequate amount to those injured as per the established norms and not according to the whims and fancies of the Chief Minister,’ Jagan said.
Jagan seems to warn Babu if he still continues it then TDP will have to face people badly in future. Jagan has been clear that people who died in mishaps and people who died in cyclone are same. The cost of life is same and then why discriminate in ex-gratia is the point. He addressed the media after consoling the families of the fire crackers mishap.
Jagan said that the government is acting as if only people of Vizag voted for TDP and not these people who died in the mishap in the recent elections. He told that it all CM’s wish that if he wants to grant more he will if not he will not. He is playing with lives of people alleged Jagan. So will Babu respond to Jagan’s comments?

Colors Swathi’s wonderful Poem on Rumours

Share
Colors Swathi who bowled all with her cute looks in films is tormented and troubled with rumours on her private life. Though she tried to take it in her stride as it is common in film industry, she lost peace of mind with rumour mongers haunting her.
Swathi in order to get peace of mind, put her thoughts on what she thought about rumours in her facebook page and dedicated to her friends in the industry who always face rumours problems.
Here is Swathi’s poem in her own words.
Some eyes just see your weakness, And their lips spread ugly lies.
They use their large, large wings, They use them to fly fast and high.
That’s when you call out to truth, Your slow poke friend, who is behind. You urge truth not be a shadow, But please come out and shine.
Testing and teasing, Truth takes a while. A schedule it follows, in it’s own sweet time.
Truth is a naughty fellow, it will sneak up from behind, Boy! it’s got it’s timing, And, the timing is wickedly divine.
When you’re reduced to rumors, When it’s their job to hurt your pride, Be like the lotus in a murky pond, Rise above the filth, And keep your identity alive.

Tamil Flavour Puts Off Vishal’s Pooja

Share
Vishal-Shruti Haasan starrer, Telugu dubbing of Tamil film Pooja is said to have strike a chord with Telugu audiences as “native” factor is missing in the dubbed version. Except Vishal, Shruti Haasan and Radhika, all the other cast are not well-known for local audience here and thus it disconnects them from film. Although actor Satyaraj is known and even played father role to Prabhas in Mirchi, lack of Telugu comedians in the film and hero’s sidekicks are directly imported from Tamil land mars the film.
While the first half of the film is good, it’s the latter part that mars the film. Lethargic narrative during the second half and drama turning out predictable while unfolding the story have worked against the film. Blame director Hari for mixing up several films and churning out a predictable one. But what keeps you stick to the seat is the film’s pace. Had Vishal took extra-care on Telugu version and would have made few changes suiting to audience here, the film would have an average run.
