As per the details, Nityananda’s followers called Nayantara soon after her break up. It seems that the followers asked Nayantara to come to the Ashram and seek the advice of Nityananda. Source mentioned that they asked Nayantara to have mental peace in the Ashram.

Anyways, Nayantara disagreed to the request and the rest is known to the people. As per the information, people from the Ashram call big shot celebrities who are losing mental peace. “Who other celebrities got calls from this Ashram?” turned interesting.

They are ‘stylish’ & ‘coolest’ couple of Tollywood

We have an ensemble list of star-couples who tied the knot the ‘love’ way. Mahesh-Namratha, Bunny-Sneha, Charan-Upasna and Nani-Anjana are the most talked such couples in Tollywood. Looking at their public appearances, many say that Allu Arjun and Sneha Reddy are on top of charts when it comes to public display of affection.

Namratha’s always glows by the side of Mahesh, while Upasna makes sure that she’s hand-in-hand with Charan whenever they appear in public. However, Bunny finds PDA coolest as he hugs his wife Sneha even during public appearances. His warmth and cute hug for wife At Ram Charan’s wedding is still unforgettable.

When they both turn up at any event, Bunny makes sure that he takes good care of her like a protective hero and then makes her giggle like that silver screen lover boy. Not that other heroes show lesser ‘love’ in public, but Bunny is just a bit more than them. That’s why many youths say Bunny-Sneha is the ‘stylish’ and ‘coolest’ romantic couple of t-town. What say folks?

Who Said Upendra Is A Baddie?

Star heroes whose ‘expiry’ date is nearing are turning villains on silver screen these days. Jagapathi Babu is the best example in Tollywood, while Srikanth too essayed a slightly negative shaded role in Govindudu Andarivadele recently. Following the queue, Kannada star Upendra is also playing a baddie is what we heard all these days. Is this not true?

Quite wrong, says a unit member from director Trivikram’s latest venture. Hit combination of Stylish Allu Arjun and magical Trivikram has united again to repeat their ‘Julayi’ magic. Shooting of their latest ‘romantic’ flick took off recently, though the news is just kept under wraps. Kannada hero, acclaimed director Upendra is playing a key role in the movie, but that is not a negative shaded one. He is not a baddie in this contemporary love story.

According to sources, Uppi’s character will have a full length screen presence along with Bunny and drives story into different directions at times. Married heroine Sneha will be seen as Upendra’s lady-love in the movie.

Chiru Is Responsible For That Comedy?

Looking twice at Ram Charan’s latest movie ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’ makes one thing clear. Loads of scenes was shot, lots of sequences were filmed, but many of them failed to make to the final cut. From the bits and pieces of information we got, Megastar Chiranjeevi is the man behind this ultra ‘trimming’ that has eaten away the comedy in particular.

With a bunch of comedians hanging around Srikanth, one would definitely expect Krishna Vamsi to shoot hilarious comedy scenes. However if looked from a script-doctor’s angle, such comic titibits will hamper the emotional chemistry of the flick. Also with story being a simpler one, pace is required to hold audiences to seats. Thinking in those lines, Chiru might have asked to ‘cut’ out all that comedy. Nevertheless there are cine lovers who feel that ‘comedy’ would have taken GAV to next level as heavy dose of ’emotions’ can’t give entertainment to all. Perspectives differ we say!

Rakul Preet Hangs ’40 Lakhs’ Board

With ‘six’ films in hand and recent release ‘Loukyam’ doing well at box office for its routine but entertaining content, what makes Rakul Preet Singh a struggling actress. Undoubtedly this Delhi based Miss India finalist got a breakthrough and only needs a blockbuster to cement her position.

Current Theega, Pandaga Chesko, Rough and Kick 2 are some of the movies we will be seeing curvaceous siren Rakul Preet sizzling like never before. Though she is to put on quality acting and dancing, her dazzling glamour became cynosure of all eyes. That impressed Telugu heroes and directors alike it seems, many projects are now literally ringing up for Rakul to check if her dates are available.

With demand curve rising, our hot beauty has set the base-price it seems. A producer revealed, ‘Rakul quoted 40 lakhs as her remuneration and is not willing to come down. With such many films in hand, there is no way she will have second thoughts’. Make hay while the sun shines!

Ileana Explains Why Sex Is Needed!!

iiliyana

Goan beauty Ileana D’cruzz, better known in south for her wide-hip and hour-glass waist, never misses a moment when it comes to speaking her mind frankly out. Once again, she opened her mouth about the ‘sex’ which many heroines never prefer to talk about, at least with media.

Sometime back, the ‘Devadasu’ heroine has stunned conservative mindsets by revealing that her father discussed about ‘sex’ when is 16 year old. And then she spoke about it many a times. In the recent issue of Womens Health magazine, Ileana made another such scorching statement. ‘Sex was probably made to keep you in shape. And its pleasurable, so why not?!’, she asks.

Well, many experts have shared umpteen times that sex is the best exercise to burn calories heavily. And then focus of everyone shifts to that ‘pleasurable’ thing Ileana is talking about. Common folks, her boyfriend, Australian photographer Andrew is hearing this.

GAV – First Day Collections, No New Records

If trade rumors are to be believed, mega power star garners around Rs 8.7 crore plus on Day One for his latest film GAV and expected to do better in festival holidays this weekend. However, Charan couldn’t beat the First Day records established by superstars Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu who clocked more than 10 crore plus for “Atharintiki…” and “Aagadu” respectively.

Although, Charan bettered his own record of Nayak and Yevadu (which touched 8 core and 8.5 crore on day one respectively), but falls short of his rivals records by a good margin. “Overwhelming crowds, unfortunately led to the death of fan, but with mixed reviews, we have to see, how its collections sustain and improve and next few holidays are crucial to break records” says a distributor. We have to wait and watch.

‘Viva’ Harsha Lost It In Editing

Share

YouTube film ‘Viva’ is an eighth wonder for Telugu folks ever since it started going viral over social networks. More than for its content, it is the performance of actor ‘Viva’ Harsha that gained instant attention. Even Tollywood folks have predicted that this guy will take silver screen by a storm.

Starting his silver screen acts with Ram Charan’s ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’, Harsha has dreamt about a dreamy ‘mega’ debut. Before wrapping GAV, he has indulged in ‘Masala’ movie promotions though they haven’t bought him any notice. But much to his disappointment, all his portions got cut out in the final-edit of Govindudu Andarivadele. Harsh is seen as one of the gang members of Srikanth, and there is no scope for this ‘aimless’ ‘workless’ gang left to do on silver screen. Good luck next time Harsha!

Why Venky left Govindudu?

Share

ramcharan

It’s common knowledge that Venkatesh was the initial choice for Bangarraju role (essayed by Srikanth) in Ram Charan’s just released Govindudu Andari Vadele. Krishna Vamsi had in fact held couple of meetings with Venky and Charan and both had given their consent. Bandla Ganesh was also happy to rope in stars Venky and Charan after Venkatesh acted with Mahesh Babu in Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.

However, Venky later walked out of project and makers roped in Srikanth for the role. Now after the movie released one could understand why Venky bid adieu to the project. Bangarraju’s role has very mass shades and on whole, the role looked incomplete. It’s clear that Venky opted himself out of the film because of the hackneyed story Vamsi has etched. Looks like, Venky has played it safe and he’s certainly fortunate for missing this film.

Maaya Goes To Bollywood As ‘Murder 4’

Share

Maaya

National Award Winning Filmmaker Neelakanta is all set to make his Bollywood entry.

His ‘Maaya’ film is going to be remade in Hindi as ‘Murder 4’ and Mahesh Bhatt will be producing this movie.

Discussions were going on between Mahesh Bhatt and Maaya producer Madhura Sridhar for some time now and finally the official announcement has been made.

Madhura Sridhar said “So excited that my production MAAYA is getting in to Bollywood as MURDER-4 produced by Mahesh Bhatt ji, to be directed by Neelakanta”.

Maaya was released on August 1 and this film was a failure at the box-office.

However, the film was appreciated by a section of audience and that is how, Mahesh Bhatt and his team were able to get hold of this film.

Telugu version had Harshavadhan Rane, Avantika, Sushma Raj and Nandini Rai in the lead roles and the star cast for the Hindi version will be announced very soon.

Manam Writer Irked With Direction Rumours

Harsha

‘Amrutham’ fame Harshavardhan is a talented actor and a very good writer.

He has provided dialogues for hit films like Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde and Manam.

Currently, Harsha is providing dialogues for Nithiin’s upcoming movie with Karunakaran.

Recently, Harsha was shocked when his friends started to call him and congratulate him on becoming a director.

It took some time for Harshavardhan to understand that a producer named Malineni Lakshmaiah Chowdary sent a press note to media stating that he is producing a film and Harsha is the director.

Irked by this, Harshavardhan came up with a clarification that he is not at all associated with that project.

When contacted, Harsha said “I’m surprised by this news and there is no truth in it. I will definitely let my media friends know about my directorial debut, when I sign a project”.

‘Govindudu Andarivadele’: Cliched age-old family drama

Share

gav

The problem with Telugu cinema’s most family stories is that they stick to an age-old story template that has been done to death. Krishna Vamsi’s much anticipated “Govindudu Andarivadele” is no different than films such as “Brindavanam”, “Attarintiki Daaredhi” and a few more in the same genre. All these films are and have always been about an individual or character trying to mend a strained relationship between members of the same family.

An old-fashioned family story told with a few endearing moments doesn’t make an interesting watch anymore. Maybe audiences warmed up to such stories a decade ago, but they’ve evolved now thanks to their exposure to world cinema.

Family stories need not always have to unfold in a bungalow (which always looks freshly painted), feature dozens of family members and celebrate every festival like it’s a big deal. Family stories could also unfold in a smaller house with just a few characters.

“Udaan” for instance, is a great example of a family drama where the father-son relationship almost moves us to tears. Filmmaker Asgar Farhadi’s “The Past” is another great example of a heartbreaking family story in which a husband has to come to terms with his wife days before they’re officially separated.

Krishna Vamsi borrows the family setup in “Govindudu Andarivadele” from his own films such as “Ninne Pelladatha” and “Murari”. There’s an elderly character, a grandfather, a strict patriarch who likes and expects his family to live by his terms. There are a lot of women, children and men who merely appear on screen because the director’s definition of a family is a house filled with at least 30 to 40 members.

“Govindudu Andarivadele” displays Telugu filmmakers’ reluctance to dig deep within a genre. There’s enough material readily available from our own lives for an engaging family tale, but rarely do we come across anything realistic.

It’s also disappointing to see how similar this film is to Pawan Kalyan’s “Attarintiki Daaredhi”. If Pawan Kalyan comes to reunite his aunt with her father in the latter, Ram Charan comes to mend a strained relationship between his father and grandfather in this film. What’s surprising is that both the actors are from the same family and yet have chosen to work in films that are so alike.

The silver lining in “Govindudu Andarivadele”, which is otherwise boring, is Prakash Raj’s sincere performance. Any other actor would’ve comfortably slipped into the shoes of Ram Charan’s character, but it would be extremely difficult to find a replacement for Prakash in this role.

Jayasudha plays her part to the hilt and proves once again she and Prakash make a great on screen pair (after films such as “Bommarillu” and “Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu”).

Kajal Agarwal is exploited in a role that will make you feel sorry for her. She gets harassed by Ram Charan throughout the film, which, ironically is promoted as a family entertainer.

Kamalinee Mukherjee, a highly talented actress, is wasted in another lazily developed role. Rao Ramesh and Aadarsh shine as villains, but they hardly have any notable contribution to make.

Blame Krishna Vamsi’s sagging career or Ram Charan’s knack for bad stories, “Govindudu Andarivadele” is a colossal disappointment. (IANS)

Most of the Bollywood heroines openly discuss about topics related to sex and they feel that there is nothing to hide about it.

Now, Bengali beauty Rani Mukherjee has joined in that list.

Remembering her school days, Rani said that she used to discuss about sex related things with her tenth standard friends.

She added that her friends used to feel jealous when someone started to talk about their sexual experiences.

Rani was disappointed at that time as girls were not supposed to enter into the video parlors where guys used to enjoy watching spicy films.

This 36-year old heroine married producer and director Aditya Chopra recently in a private ceremony.

Her last film Mardaani was declared hit at the box-office and critics praised Rani Mukherjee’s performance as a powerful cop.

Rani hasn’t signed any films as of now and this ‘Aiyyaa’ heroine revealed that she want to spend more time with her husband at least for an year or two.

Shwetha Basu Prasad 54034

Actress Sweta Basu now did a big volte face. After weeks of admitting her “act” and even reasoned that “lack of opportunities” and “financial condition” “compelled” her to indulge in the vicious cycle of flesh trade, Sweta Basu in front of the court pleaded innocence.

In her recorded statement to the Court, Sweta Basu claimed, “I’m a student and am pursuing my graduation.” Sweta alleged that she was “falsely implicated” in the prostitution case by police. This is not all. Sweta corroborated that the hotel room in which she was caught was booked by the organizers of Santosham Awards and said she was living like any other actors who all attended the awards function.

Sweta’s latest statements have set tongues wagging in T-town. However, cops who did sting operation like customers have a different story to tell. They said the place of hotel room was informed by “pimp” Balu and he took the “money” at Sweta’s behest. Police now going to probe the matter to get more facts in the case. Court has asked Sweta to stay in Rehabilitation Centre for 6 months.

While reports are rife that she will be charging a bomb (Rs 1 Crore) for her maiden movie, Anasuya however has an unfulfilled want. Anasuya wants to croon for films. She admits that “playback singing” has been her calling and want to fulfil it someday.

Not many know that Anasuya was even auditioned by the likes of Anup Rubens and Raghu Kunche but things didn’t fall in her place. Although she is soon foraying into acting, Anasuya hasn’t given up her unfulfilled want of becoming singer. Music directors, are you hearing??

What Happened To Mega Powerstar?

Share

Ramcheranannna647x450

It’s a delight for fans to watch their favorite stars in the favourite ‘tags’ they were awarded. Chiranjeevi made this ‘crowning’ more popular as he is fondly called as ‘Megastar’ as he was the unbeatable numero uno of Tollywood for couple of decades. And now we have the likes of Powerstar, Superstar, Stylish Star and Mega Powerstar reigning Tollywood with their star-status and box-office stamina.

During the opening titles of any movies, the ‘graphics’ of these titles send fans into merry. But surprisingly, ‘Mega Powerstar’ Ram Charan left his title to the desk the other day. While watching the starting-credits of ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’, fans got shocked as to where this ‘Mega Powerstar’ title animation is missing. Probably with the film being an emotional and family oriented movie, intentionally Charan might have dropped the idea of using it.

Also there is a doubt that he wants to change his ‘title’ in the coming movies and first he dropped out this old one. Even Chiranjeevi too used titles like Dynamic hero, Supreme Star and others before the word ‘Megastar’ was coined for him.
