The enormous advantage our star heroes enjoy at BO irrespective of their movie’s quality is evidentially seen in the huge openings of Junior NTR ‘Rabhasa’ and Mahesh Babu ‘Aagadu.’ Although both the films failed at BO from fourth or fifth day and ended as disappointing films in respective star heroes’ careers, here is something happening in contrast. Yes, what we are speaking about is Gopichand ‘Loukyam’

The film directed by Sriwass did not have any innovative concept or treatment yet the routine comedy; Gopichand’s new look along with Kona, Srinu comedy and Rakul Preet glamour did the trick for spreading of a positive talk on day one and two. However, Gopi is not a star hero like Mahesh or NTR and result is what we see a considerable drop in collections at booking counters. Despite a positive talk, audience hasn’t turned in huge numbers at theaters. This is a dismal result which Gopichand did not expect. Overall, ‘Loukyam’ may end as just a medium satisfaction product for makers and offer some respite for falling graph of Gopichand.

Super Star krishna is known for correct speculations on result and BO span of a movie. Particularly, his foresight in estimating the business value of Mahesh Babu’s hit movies has given him good credibility. While no one can understand the pulse of Telugu audience, it was alone krishna whose verdict was immensely respected by Ghattamaneni Fans. This time, krishna’s mathematics with Mahesh Babu ‘Aagadu’ proved to be completely false.

After watching the first special show of ‘Aagadu,’ an ecstatic krishna commented on ‘Aagadu’ to become 100 Crores movie which isn’t so. The BO collections of Mahesh Babu new movie have shown a drastic decline and ‘Aagadu’ might be at least 75 Crores away from krishna’s interpolation. Next time even if krishna gives a statement on Mahesh Babu-Koratala Siva film’s commercial validity, no one can believe so.

‘Manam’ proved to be game-changer for talented composer Anoop Rubens though he started his career long back in 2002 with Teja’s ‘Jai’. However, he is not able to crack the whip in Tollywood such that his position will be cemented. And here comes the exact problem for which Anoop should find immediate solution.

Except in the case of movies like Ishq, Heart Attack and Manam, Anoop is not evincing interest with his background scores. Although his tunes are melodious, haunting and hummable, he should bring pep and flavor to scenes with terrific background scores like a DSP and Thaman. Because for commercial movies, ‘background music’ is the soul as it lifts heroism and scene depth to new level. It looks like Anup is delivering his best when directors are extracting ‘juices’ from him, but failing to live up to expectations if he is left to own will.

Also Anoop should focus on giving at least one haunting song per album. Latest release ‘Loukyam’ and upcoming ‘Oka Laila Kosam’ had him at composer’s table, and these films’ music isn’t any instant hit. For JrNTR-Puri Jagan’s flick, he will score tunes but Mani Sharma will hit orchestra for background score. That’s the story! 

Mega Power Star Ram Charan had a candid talk with the media on the occasion of his next film, Govindhudu Andari Vaadele releasing on Wednesday. He spoke at length about several aspects of the film and its making. He answered one interesting question on competition with Mahesh Babu. Ram Charan clarified that there is only professional rivalry between both of them.

“We were planning for Dussehra release for a long time. However our team and the team of Aagadu had an agreement about the release date. We promised each other to maintain a good gap of two weeks between both the films so one film do not eat in to the collections of the other”, Charan said. It was mentioned that there is an eighth film sentiment for star heroes in TFI according to which their eighth films always fail. For that Charan confidently said he will break the jinx.

According to the reports of APHerald.com. Content wise Govindhudu Andari Vaadele has ‘Below Average to Average’ stuff. But Charan has the track record pulling of blinder hits from some very average films like Racha and Nayak, we will have to see what he does with this film. The holiday season will also compliment Charan’s following since there are 5 holidays in the first week of its release including Gandhi Jayanthi, Dussehra, Weekend and Bakrid.

 Kajal Agarwal is pairing up with Ram Charan in this movie. This is their fourth combination film. Earlier the three movies, Magadheera, Nayak and Yevadu are blockbusters and fans hope the sentiment will holds good once again. Bandla Ganesh is producing the movie under his Parameswara Arts Banner. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be composing the music for Charan.

It is known that Devi Sri Prasad who was supposed to score music for NTR’s next directed by Puri Jagannadh is now replaced by Anup Rubens. While they say Devi Sri Prasad opted to back out of the project due to his busy schedule, the exact reason is different. Bandla Ganesh is yet to clear the payment of his earlier project, Iddarammayilatho for Devi Sri Prasad. The music director is insisting on clear the payment before starting the work of NTR’s film.

Bandla Ganesh promised Devi to clear the payment after cutting down the remunerations of NTR and Puri. But after they did, Bandla pocketed the entire amount and still kept Devi’s payment in pending. Irked by this, DSP decided to quit the project. Interestingly this move also helped Ganesh to save money. He is supposed to pay Devi Sri Prasad 1.2 Crore remuneration but will now have to pay only 30 Lakhs to Anup Rubens.

The shooting of the film is progressing at brisk pace. The makers are determined to release the film on January 9th, 2015 as Sankranthi special despite running on a very tight schedule. Rubabu, Nenorakam and Temper are titles in rumours but Puri Jagannadh recently confirmed that he is yet to finalize the title. NTR and Puri Jagannadh earlier teamed up for Andhrawala several years ago.

There were huge expectations on the movie as it came after a blockbuster,Simhadri. But the film was an utter flop. Later on a film in their combination was on cards for several times but that did not happen. Puri wants to make amends for Andhrawala mistake with this new project. Bandla Ganesh will be producing this project under his Parameswara Arts banner. Vakkantham Vamsi is providing the story.

Ace producer Bandla Ganesh is busy handling promotion related work to the release of his latest flick ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’. As he distributes the movie himself in Nizam and Krishna areas, he need to take care of many aspects to ensure a smooth release on October 1st. at this moment, news has erupted that he is absconding in connection  with a cheating and threatening case. 

Way back in 2011, during the making of Gabbar Singh, Bandla Ganesh is heard taking a loan of 80 lakhs from a financier named Dharmacharan Tulasi, revealed a leading daily. After taking money, Ganesh made an agreement that he will dole out Guntur rights of Gabbar Singh to the same financier but never honored his commitment. Even after years, Ganesh neither returned the money nor had given him any area’s rights of his next productions even.

Instead, he is heard threatening the distributor with consequences including death, the distributor mentioned his complaint to Banjara Hills police. Police registered cases on Ganesh under sections 420, 406 and 506 IPC. At the moment, the ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’ producer is said to be absconding. 

Rumor mills have earlier quoted Jr NTR that he is not happy with the inclusion of Bengali bombshell Madhurima Banerjee as second heroine in this movie. It was said that Junior is upset as Madhurima is not a big league heroine and sizzled in short roles in super flops like ‘Orange’ and ‘Shadow’. Later on, script issues too popped up after ‘Rabhasa’ failure leading Puri Jagan to wait for NTR’s call after weeks whether to resume shooting or not.

Apparently the issue between NTR and Puri Jagan regarding stalling the shoot of their ongoing flick for a while is said to be this ‘monopoly’ casting from Jagan. But shooting got resumed now from 26th Sept and Madhurima is still part of the flick. She might join the leading crew by next week. Madhurima plays a crucial role in the movie that comes in flashback mode, and spins the whole film into a new level altogether. Is Jr NTR okay with this flop heroine now or whatever we heard in the past are just rumors?  

A former model in Mumbai reportedly committed suicide in her flat in Versova. 26-yr-old Archana Pandey’s body was found lying from the ceiling fan in her bedroom on Monday after her neighbours smelt foul odour emanating from her flat, said police officials. Cops did find a “suicide” note by Archana in which she held her boyfriend Omar Pathan liable for her suicide. 

Archana had quit modeling and was working as a financial consultant in a production house. In the suicide note, Archana blamed Omar Pathan for her suicide and said that he was “ill-treating” her. 

Archana had been living alone in the 12th floor of Shubham Karoti building at New Mahada colony in Versova. Though she had committed suicide sometime back, no one had clue on her death. Only after bad smell emanating from her flat, neighbours rang her door bell but in vain. Then they informed police about it. By the time, police found her body, it was highly decomposed and police sent it to post-mortem. Cops are probing the issue, checking her mobile phone contents, call records and smses. Cops are also contemplating to book a case against her boyfriend on the charges of abutment of suicide.

From YVS Chowdary to SS Rajamouli, many biggies got trained under movie making ‘master’ KRR and then went on creating their own path to impress Tollywood. Has anyone crossed this ‘guru’ in terms of popularity, skill set and decision making power?

If we have to go by composer Keeravani who got associated with K Raghavendra Rao from last 26 years, ‘none’ of the students were really able to ‘cross’ Raghavendra Rao. “Decision making abilities, prioritizing needful things and comforting other technicians is what KRR is best at. YVS and Rajamouli falls way behind when it comes to it”, stresses Keeravani.

“YVS Chowdary is always hell-bent on something he thinks about. He’s never interested in alternates and slight changes. This attitude led him to less success rate compared to Guru”, he says, pointing out that Raghavendra Rao is not worried when a ‘small’ thing in a movie or song’s music goes wrong.

Further, Keeravani didn’t spare his own brother Rajamouli, who is hailed in Tollywood as master of perfection and creativity. “Rajamouli seeks loads of perfection and that’s the reason for his movie taking long time. But KRR used to finish everything on time, saving time of other technicians”, he adds. “Both YVS and Rajamouli drag behind ‘guru’ Raghavendra Rao in these aspects”, Keeravani concluded.

The mega powerstar himself revealed that his acting skills are improved like never before in this movie. “Though I’ve not watched full movie yet, my performance is different, subtle and commands huge variation this time”, he said. But what could boomerang for Charan? Megastar Chiru is known for giving ‘tempting’ ‘pleasurable’ expressions while producing romantic chemistry with heroines, especially in songs. He and his heroine used to look as if they are in real love. It could be noticed that Charan is weak in this area.

Not long ago, reports were rife that Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja was Bollywood bound and he would be debuting into Hindi. Buzz had it that director Samir Karnik who made Yamla Pagla Deewana would team up with Andhra Amitabh’s maiden Hindi flick. The movie was supposed to be a laugh riot.

However, things took a U-turn and the film is now said to be shelved. Ravi Teja himself confirmed the news. He admitted, “Things didn’t materialise. We did have talks for a while but don’t know what happened.” Ravi Teja claimed that he has been flooded with offers from Hindi, but said he is waiting for “right” script.

” The title of the movie suggests hero belongs all the members of the family and wishes his family members united with a strong bond of love and affection. In fact, my name in the movie is Abhiram. I wanted do the movie with Krishna Vamsi after ‘Magadheera’. But it took time for the project getting materialized. KV’s movies might have been failed, but as a director, he never failed. I like his ‘Murari’, ‘Ninne Pelladutha’ and ‘Chandamama’. KV wrote the strory of this movie. He has also done 80% of the screen play and the balance part was contributed by Paruchuri Brothers. I felt it a bit difficulty doing a romantic song with Kajal. But KV was stubborn at canning that song.

The movie is being released with only five songs. We are planning to add ‘Ko ko kodi’ song on 12th or 13 day after release of the movie. My next project has not been confirmed. Srinu Vaitla narrated a story for me for three or four times. I have also plans to do a bilingual with Goutham Menon. I will do a bollywood movie as well. Dad’s movie is going to be a full length entertainer. We will finalize the story soon,” said Ram charan when he was asked a couple questions by the journos.
