Actor Shah Rukh Khan, who was part of two remake films “Devdas” and “Don” said the proud moment for him would be when somebody would remake his original films. “I did two iconic films one is Dilip Kumar’s ‘Devdas’ and the other one is Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Don’. I never chose my films. Films and directors chose me. Sanjay Leela Bhansali told me ‘there is something in your eyes’ and then he asked me to do ‘Devdas’.

“Farhan Akhtar thought I could play the character of ‘Don’. But I am not thinking about remaking any film now,” Shah Rukh Khan told reporters during the launch of Filmfare’s 100 Years of Cinema issue here Wednesday.

“Hopefully, a time will come when somebody will remake one of my original films and that will be a great achievement and proud moment for me,” he added. The actor, who got an opportunity to share the space with Bollywood icons Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan on the Filmfare’s cover page, said his life was now “complete”. “I had a marvellous time shooting for the photo shoot with Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan. I feel my life is complete now. When I was shooting with Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu, Saira ji came to me and said if she had a son he would have looked like me.”

Among all the tags that Shah Rukh has got including ‘King Khan’, ‘Baadshah’ and ‘Don’ among others, he said his favourite tag was “Papa”.

“Papa is the best one, and that’s my favourite. It was given to me by my two only legal children,” the actor said.
 

Anjali’s mother Bharati Devi appears to be confusing both the media and the police. She now brought a US-based doctor into the picture and expressed doubts that he could be behind Anjali’s disappearance.

According to information, she told the Chennai police that after the doctor came into the life of Anjali, her attitude changed. She reportedly expressed doubts that he could be behind her disappearance.

It was earlier reported that Anjali drove off from the Dasapalla Hotel in Hyderabad in an expensive car. It was also reported that a person was sitting in the rear seat of the car and Anjali came running out of the hotel at around 8-30 am on Monday and hopped into the car and sat beside that person. Police are probing the possibility of that doctor taking away Anjali, it is learnt. According to sources, police are scrutinizing the phone calls of Anjali to know where she could be held or hiding.

Prior to the release of any film based on the trailer and two or three powerful punch dialogues many predict hit talk for the film and even rewrite Tollywood records with super collections. But current movie lovers will not watch even superhit blockbuster not more than twice.

Now NTR’s Baadshah got good positve talk which helped in record opening collections. Even Baadshah showed its power on Saturday,Sunday but from Monday films collections slowed down making many wonder about the crowd pulling stamina of Young Tiger.

Akkineni Nagarjuna is now facing problem from the Lok Ayukta, a quasi judicial body, in connection with a land encroachment case. Kathireddy Venkat Reddy, a representative of non-governmental organisation “Janam Kosam”, filed a petition in the Lok Ayukta, alleging that Nagajuna had encroached upon Tammari Cheruvu, a water body at Madhapur, to construct a hotel by name “N-Convention Centre.” 

 

The Lok Ayukta admitted the petition and issued notices to Ranga Reddy district collector and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Commissioner, directing them to submit a report before July 31st. So, now we will see how Nag will react.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja who has been suffering from success from long time is gearing up with his next film “Balupu”, which will be released next month. This film is an action entertainer, with Sruthi Haasan and Anjali as the female leads. “Balupu” is directed by Gopichand Malineni.SS Thaman is scoring music. Prasad V. Potluri is producing Balupu under PVP cinemas banner.  After this film, Ravi Teja has two interesting movies in the pipeline. 

 

The first one is the remake of Bollywood hit “Oh My God”, which had Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles. In Telugu Ravi Teja and probably senior Naresh will be seen as the corresponding characters. And further the interesting one is a multi lingual film in the direction of Kamal Haasan and in this Ravi Teja will share the screen along with Rishi Kapoor, Mohan Lal and Kamal Haasan. This film will be releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.

The latest release ‘Baadshah’ has been doing very well across different centres and though it didn’t get extraordinary response it has enough to get into the success zone. Meanwhile, those who watched the film are raising one question that Why Siddharth agreed to do the two minute cameo in “Baadshah” where none of heroes agrees o do cameos in their competitor’s films. 

 

Well, some of the cine folks give their understanding. They mention that maybe Siddharth was targeting to establish some friendly relations with producer Bandla Ganesh.  If he says no then negative publicity will start making rounds that Sidd has got arrogance and headweight which would be quite damaging. But now that he has done that allegation is not there. Some might worry why a hero like Sidd did a small role. 

 

Well, Siddharth reportedly felt it is ok to do it. Who knows it might give a chance to impress Bandla Ganesh and he might produce a film with Sidd as hero. What would the real thing its only Sidd knows. Lets us keep cross our fingers until Sidd opens his mouth.
