Now KCR is being admired like anything for bringing a separate state, while others hold responsible to plant hatred and separatism.

And Congress which was banking on his support is now stunned. It was a public fact that Congress bulldozed its way to bifurcate Telangana out of Andhra Pradesh. And this was only due to an understanding KCR will merge his TRS into Congress and they can rule in Telangana for five years if not centre.

But by sending strong feelers that he is not willing to merge, sources say Congress leadership is literally puzzled. Meanwhile Seemandhra Congress leaders are very happy that Sonia Gandhi deserves this treatment. They are of the opinion that just trusting him, Sonia played fire with Telugus and now one section of Telugu people she propped up from 2009 are going to teach her an unforgettable lesson.

Ever since the blockbuster success of ‘Naayak’, ace director VV Vinayak has not accepted any big hero’s movie. Instead, he is currently directing a movie with Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, the son of Bellamkonda Suresh. This is the debut film of the actor.The makers have recently registered a title ‘Alludu Srinu’ for this movie at the film chamber. An official announcement is awaited on the title of the movie.

Samantha is pairing up with Sai Srinivas in this movie while Prakash Raj dons an important role. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music of the movie. The movie is being produced by Bellamkonda Suresh.

Surveys shocking Sonia’s Congress

Congress party is at its wits end on how to cope up with media channels and market research organisations who are bombarding with their own surveys day in and day out even though the party has been demanding ban on pre poll surveys and exit polls following a sting operation conducted by a channel.

In its sting operation it was found that some organisations expressed their willingness to tamper with the surveys and increase the tally of one particular party. Almost all the Congress leaders vented their anger on surveys. This because all surveys conducted by various organisations are shocking Sonia Gandhi and Congress High Command. Had those surveys conducted by unknown organisations, party can conveniently ignore.

However all are conducted by popular organisations like AC Neilsen etc. According to them it was found that Congress will get only 73 seats while BJP expected to win 217. It also predicted that Narendra Modi enjoys 57% support while Rahul Gandhi a mere 18%. These are definitely warning signals to the party. It can ban surveys but ban will not change voters who decided on whom to elect.

TJAC against TRS?

All surveys predicted KCR’s led TRS to sweep polls whenever they are held in Telangana region. This is the main reason why Congress headed by Sonia Gandhi forced the UPA government to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh to form Telangana. Congress bosses felt that once they form Telangana, it can make TRS merge with Congress.

However they were in for a rude shock when TRS chief KCR went back on his promise to merge and started putting hard conditions. Jairam Ramesh who played key role in the division of Telangana, miffed with TRS chief KCR, decided to counter the party. In his mission he decided to woo TJAC leaders who till now supported KCR. He warned them if they support KCR, then they will get only Telangana ruled by landlords and family.

He asked them to support Telangana for the people and invited them to join Congress. He asked TJAC leaders to join and help in the development of Telanagna. At the sametime TJAC leaders informed him that they are not confident that KCR will give them tickets even though they played key role in Telangana formation.

Manchu Vishnu to Follow Pawan kalyan

As per latest updates Manchu Vishnu is playing a small role in RGV’s Rowdy film and he will be in film for more than 30 mins, his role is important for film but he is not ready to take any remuneration for this film.

Here is what he says about this film “They are like family to me. We grew up together and they morally supported me in many projects, so this film is extra special for me. I know from experience that producing movies isn’t an easy proposition and warned my friends. But they were adamant on funding the movie themselves. So I decided to waive my remuneration to help ease some pressure on the producers.

I told them to pay me my due after the movie goes on to become a hit. It’s the least I could do for them. Pawan kalyna dn Venkatesh also does the same for few films in which they play a guest or small role in promotions. Let’s see will this help from Vishnu make Rowdy a big hit.

Surprise visit to Baahubali sets

Sympathy on Chiru, Satires on Pawan!

Even before Chiranjeevi reached Ramanaidu Studios, Pawan Kalyan was there at Varun Tej’s debut flick launch. While entering the pooja spot, Chiru greeted Pawan, and later he called his small brother to bless Varun by giving him ‘Askhintalu’. It is fine till here, and Pawan left the spot abruptly as we all know.

This incident became a huge discussion everywhere by conspicuously indicating that splits are quite deep inside family. Keeping our assumptions and analyses aside, let us see what many are thinking. After watching yesterday’s things, people are sympathizing with Chiru and criticizing Pawan for his behaviour. Whatever might happen inside the family, Pawan is facing brickbats for his behaviour the other day.

‘Pawan might have got bitter with Chiru, but why is that he will show that at Nagababu’s son’s debut movie launch? Is this occasion more important than Pawan’s dissent?’, an insider asked. ‘Though Pawan feels Chiru has done wrong with PRP, this is not the occasion to show that anger’, Tollywood bigwigs are heard saying.

Prajarajyam party and the ensuing merger into Congress might have damaged Megastar’s reputation a little. Even then, fact remains the same that without the presence of Chiranjeevi, there is no question of Nagababu, Pawan or Charan in film industry. It’s better if mega heroes keep this thing in mind before they take decisions, even though they got a gigantic fan following now, a noted producer at the venue opined, throwing a direct satire on Powerstar.

Also Chiru is a bridge between old generation and new generation with many records, victories and credits to his career. For the same reason, the whole of film industry respects Megastar irrespective of his political stand and the party he is with. Is Pawan failing to understand this realistic logic? Has he forgotten the past?

Pawan should learn diplomacy?

Even big political and business rivals, when happened to meet at a common function, they greet and regard each other, but power star carries his ‘heart on his sleeve’, so he needs to take up a crash course in diplomacy.

Since Pawan Kalyan, always maintained that he never dissociated from politics, where he has to face his political rivals quite often, but he should be able to at least ‘shake hands’ as courtesy in public, instead of walking away ignoring them. If he could do this to his own brother Chiranjeevi who hasn’t done anything wrong to Pawan, so imagine the plight of his political rivals.

And also celebrities should acquire diplomatic skills, since personal relationship, is different from professional differences. Whatever, Pawan Kalyan is like that only because he is Pawan Kalyan. He acts only on reel but not in real life. What say folks?

Pawan’s heroine delivers baby boy!!!

Not many know that beautiful heroine Bhumika Chawla is few months pregnant when she shot for Allari Naresh’s Laddu Babu sometime back. And much to her excitement, the beautiful lady delivered a baby boy the other day.

Sharing her thoughts, Bhumika says, ‘The newborn baby has given me a new birth as a mother. This feeling is really overwhelming’. Excited with her son’s entry into life, she felt that motherhood brings fulfilment to any woman’s life. However, she and her husband Bharat Takur haven’t finalized any name yet for the cute boy. Known for her cute and acclaimed performances in flicks like Pawan Kalyan’s Kushi, Missamma and Anasuya, the dazzling 35 year old lady married yoga guru Bharat Thakur in 2007.

Though she never took a break from films, her success rate is not great post tying the knot. Hope the newborn will bring luck to Bhumika’s career too. Her latest flicks Laddu Babu is to release very soon.

Basanthi Movie Review

Story:

Arjun (Goutham) is graduation student who follows his heart. He come across Roshini (Alisha Baig) in a wedding and with a series of incidents, they turn friends. In Parallel to this story, Terrorist head Babar who gets arrested is sent to Hyderabad ATS Centre on an enquiry. Gaazi and team heads to Hyderabad to make Babar escape and to achieve this he plans for bomb blasts. However, the blasts plan gets leaked to police Ali Khan (Shayaji) by arresting Razzaq (Bhanu). Now, Gaazi with an alterative plan attacks Basanti College and take students into their hostage. The rest forms the crux.

Performances:

Raja Gautam delivers a subtle performance and he is impressive in the act. He gains command on dialogue delivery and surpasses his performance from previous films.

Alisha Baig looks good and she is a mediocre performer. Ranadir is impressive, Tanikella Bharini is convincing, Sayaji Shinde is interesting, Dhanraj is wasted. Others were adequate.

Technical Analysis:

Mani Sharma composed tunes are decent while the background score is exceptional, which is an asset for the movie. Cinematography is on top notch. Marthand K Venkatesh editing could have been better. Chaitanya Dhantuluri makes an honest attempt and the production values are standard.

Analysis:

Basanti takes off well and the cast Gautam, Alisha Baig keeps engaged with decent performances. Chaitanya Dantuluri executed the first half neatly with refreshing scenes. Interval block is impressive and raises expectations on the latter half. A couple of twists in the second hour are impressive but the proceedings move at slow pace. Also with too many cinematic liberties like a college student attacking the terrorists without weapons lacks realism approach. Such forced heroism scenes could have been avoided. The film has been set in a strong backdrop and audiences will expect a gripping screenplay but the film lacks the needed strength at crucial scenes thus failing to make it a memorable one. Nevertheless, Basanti has its moments with some impressive dialogues and the director makes an honest attempt unlike opting for commercial elements and formulaic approaches.

Final Verdict:

A decent attempt, but could have been much better…

Trivikram Script Goes to Kollywood

After eating so many years in the making of average film ‘Khaleja,’ very soon Trivikram Srinivas made his mind to deliver a swift film with sheer intelligence and thus came the successful Rs.40 Crores ‘julayi’ which raised the commercial stamina of Allu Arjun. Music of Devi Sri Prasad and clever narration of Trivikram resulted in wonderful praises from audience and critics too. Now, the script of ‘julayi’ is going to Kollywood with Prashanth playing the hero.

We can remember Prashanth for movies like ‘Chamanthi, Jeans’ which were successful dubbed Telugu films in Telugu. A new director will be introduced to Kollywood with the film where in Telugu actor Brahmaji is appearing in an important character and Thambi Ramayya is reprising the Police Officer Rajendra Prasad. Can they recreate the magic of Trivi in Tamil?

Finally curtains down on the Kapu and former Cong ministers drive towards TDP. Erasu, TG, Ganta and four Visakhapatnam MLAs of congress made a bee line to meet Chandrababu Naidu at NTR Bhavan . One has to see how the TDP cadres and leaders of north coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema will receive the news of their detractors in congress coming back to TDP for greener pastures.

One does not know whether Chandrababu Naidu has assured them of assembly or Parliament tickets. TDP sources said that the Chandrababu plans to admit them on the day of election notification, i.e March 5th at a public meeting at Nellore where another sitting congress MLA and minister Galla Aruna would also join them. While TDP is loosing MLAs to TRS in Telangana, it is gaining the same in Seemandhra from congress .

Legend to land in controversies!

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Legend is silently awaiting release. The makers have not yet released a single teaser of the movie and it is increasing the curiosity of the movie. Highly placed sources in the movie unit tells us that the movie will be creating a storm after its release due to its huge political inferences and dialogues.

They say as the political conditions in the state turned more ambiguous, the satires embedded in the movie will work out more now. Also they say the movie will help Nandamuri Balakrishna and his Telugu Desam Party a lot in the upcoming elections in boosting the cadre. It is known that the actor will be making his political debut this time. He is banking high time on the movie to create him good platform for campaigning.

Also, controversies are expected to brew as the movie is releasing on March 28th when the election code of conduct is in place. His Adhinayakudu which released during Bielections then also created similar controversy. Finally the election commission had to watch the film and give it a clean chit. We will have to see what happens with Legend!
