Hrithik, who was diagonised with chronic subdural haematoma and was admitted Saturday evening at the Hinduja Hospital in Khar, was operated upon in the afternoon and came out of the operation theatre around 3 p.m. The 50-minute neuro-surgery has been successful and Sussanne said she was relieved.

“Thank you for all your love and concern, Hrithik has come out of the surgery stronger than ever before. Gratitude and love to all of you for all your good wishes and prayers for him,” Sussanne said in a statement.

Rakesh Roshan told reporters: “He was shooting for ‘Bang Bang’ in Phuket, Bangkok. He was doing a stunt where he had to put a jet on his feet and go 30 feet high in the sky and then dive down in the water. So when he rehearsed, he fell the wrong way and banged his head a bit, which he didn’t realise. That started his pain and he started taking pain killers, thinking it will get fine in three to four days because something similar had happened during ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’ also.” The pain subsided, but only to return a month later.

“Minor brain surgery to remove blood clot. Should be rock n rolling by evening! U guys have a great day too! Supersonic!!” tweeted Hrithik.

The distributors are also planning to release this movie in some of Big D screens in Carmike and some XD screens in Cinemark locations which are equivalent to IMAX screens due to nature of this movie in limited locations for limited shows. The film is touted to be a visual feast as the movie shot in exotic locations as never seen before in previous Tollywood’s films.

‘Race Gurram’ stars Shruti Haasan as the female lead. The film is being directed by Surender Reddy of ‘Athanokkade’ and ‘Kick’ fame. I feel, anyone can dance if they have the interest. Though I was just 15-16 years old, all of my heroes used to respect me and they gave me the opportunities to prove my talent. ‘I expected few objections on inflammatory dialogues about Pakistan but censor board has not even raised a single word or complaint regarding this. Hrithik’s father and director Rakesh Roshan revealed that the actor will be undergoing a surgery called ‘Chronic Subdural Hematoma’ and people have to do so when there is some impact on the head.

Sources say, Hrithik has been doing heavy duty action since few months for the films Krrish 3 and Bang Bang. The surgery is a result of his determination to do death-defying stunts sans body double. Wish this finest actor in the country a speedy recovery!
