So, ‘Yevadu’ is moved to July 31st. Let us see, how ‘Atharintiki Daaredi’ will be scheduled now because August 7th is the proximate date in discussion for the release.

As per the latest numbers flowing in, ‘Balupu’ reached a total figure to $4, 28, 871 (Rs.2.60 Crores) by completion of second weekend while ‘Singham 2’ collected $ 2, 41, 926 (Rs.1.47 Crores) by first weekend. Let us wait, where the market for these two films will end finally.

Amy Jackson who is playing one of the female leads in Ram Charan’s ‘Yevadu’ met with an accident while shoot for the flick. The incident took place in Liverpool where the range rover which the actress has been driving as part of a particular scene collided with other vehicle coming from the opposite direction.

Luckily, Amy got away with few scratches and the other driver too has been safe. “Yes I’m all fine Thank You, my car isn’t though and the other driver is fine too Thank God!,” confirms the actress.

‘Yevadu’ unit breathed a sigh of relief knowing that Amy was safe as any injury might have forced them to postpone the release at least by a few weeks.

Sekhar Kammula’s most anticipating Kahaani South remake  Anaamika is planned to release in Tamil and Telugu this  Dussehra. The makers are planning to wrap up the film by mid July and is currently filming with the cast at a fast pace across Hyderabad  at  real locations amidst the chaos of Murgi Market, the famous Choodi Bazaar, Sultan Bazaar, iconic Charminar and Begum Bazaar.The movie marks the debut of critically acclaimed Telugu Director Sekhar Kammula in Tamil cinema. 

 

Kammula’s first film, Dollar Dreams was a critical success, and won him the National Film Award for best debutant director, he has also bagged six Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awardsand in 2011 and was among the director’s delegation to represent Indian Cinema at the Cannes Film Festival.The film’s music and background score is composed by National Award winning music director M.M Keervani, who has given chart topping tunes to over 200 films.

It’s official now! Mahesh Babu’s son Gautam Krishna is making his onscreen debut with ‘1 – Nenokkadine’. He will be playing Jr Mahesh Babu for the flashback episodes. The 7-year-old kid is currently shooting in Belfast with actors Anu Haasan and Anand who will be seen as their onscreen parents.

As per the reliable sources, Gautam Krishna’s onscreen name is confirmed as ‘Gautam’. It is learnt that the decision was taken by Mahesh based on numerology.

Apparently, Mahesh is overseeing the shooting part of his son and making sure that the boy is comfortable facing the camera. He even advised Sukumar to be prepared with an alternative for Gautam in case if the kid is averse to shoot. Luckily, Gautam cooperated with the unit and has been shooting continuously for the past three days.

Good to see, Gautam following the footsteps of his father at a very young age. Mahesh too debuted as child artiste in his father Krishna’s film ‘Needa’ in the year 1979. Who would have expected that his son will be repeating the same act after 34 years? That’s what life is all about!

A head injury during the shoot of “Bang Bang” in Phuket is what landed Hrithik Roshan at the Hinduja hospital, says his father and filmmaker Rakesh Roshan.The 39-year-old underwent a successful brain surgery at Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital Sunday afternoon.

Hrithik, who was diagonised with chronic subdural haematoma and was admitted Saturday evening at the Hinduja Hospital in Khar, was operated upon in the afternoon and came out of the operation theatre around 3 p.m. The 50-minute neuro-surgery has been successful and Sussanne said she was relieved.

“Thank you for all your love and concern, Hrithik has come out of the surgery stronger than ever before. Gratitude and love to all of you for all your good wishes and prayers for him,” Sussanne said in a statement.

Rakesh Roshan told reporters: “He was shooting for ‘Bang Bang’ in Phuket, Bangkok. He was doing a stunt where he had to put a jet on his feet and go 30 feet high in the sky and then dive down in the water. So when he rehearsed, he fell the wrong way and banged his head a bit, which he didn’t realise. That started his pain and he started taking pain killers, thinking it will get fine in three to four days because something similar had happened during ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’ also.” The pain subsided, but only to return a month later.

“Minor brain surgery to remove blood clot. Should be rock n rolling by evening! U guys have a great day too! Supersonic!!” tweeted Hrithik.

Sahasam is all set for July 12th release with grand premiers on July 11th in all over USA. The film is being released in about 60 locations in USA as the biggest release for Gopi Chand when compared to his previous movies.

The distributors are also planning to release this movie in some of Big D screens in Carmike and some XD screens in Cinemark locations which are equivalent to IMAX screens due to nature of this movie in limited locations for limited shows. The film is touted to be a visual feast as the movie shot in exotic locations as never seen before in previous Tollywood’s films.

From costumes to hairstyle to footwear, everything is quite different from what he has tried until now. ‘Race Gurram’ stars Shruti Haasan as the female lead. The film is being directed by Surender Reddy of ‘Athanokkade’ and ‘Kick’ fame. Vakkantham Vamsi provided the story which is said to be high on entertainment. Music is by Thaman and Cinematography is by Manoj Paramahamsa (Ye Maya Chesave fame). Choreographer-turned-Director Prabhudeva reveled about his style of composing dance moves for heroes and the working relation he used to share with them in a recent interview. He also showered praises on Chiranjeevi for the kind of effort he used to put for every film.

Whom according to you are the best dancers in Tolywood, Prabhu Deva replied, “I have done films with Chiranjeevi, Balakrsihna, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Mohan Babu and Rajasekhar. As a choreographer, we read how much they are capable off and compose the moves based on their body language. Everyone used to have their own style. I feel, anyone can dance if they have the interest. Though I was just 15-16 years old, all of my heroes used to respect me and they gave me the opportunities to prove my talent. I wholeheartedly thank all of them”.

He then added, “Chiranjeevi sir is superb. He is the king of hardworking. In those days, he used to call me for rehearsals in the evening and would dance before me by feeding me with yummy dosas made in his house. He is a complete package – acts well, has got a style and could dance like a dream. Among the young crop of heroes, Allu Arjun, Jr NTR and Ram Charan have been doing a fantastic job.”  

Prabhudeva began his career as an assistant to his father and choreographer Sundaram Master at the age of 14 and within one-and-a-half year he became a dance master. Out of 100 films he had choreographed till date, 80 were in the Telugu Film Industry and that’s the reason behind his close bonding with the Telugus.
