One of the most good looking actors of Hindi cinema model-turned Arjun Rampal, also known for his fashion sense, doesn’t take the titles given to him seriously.

“I am not metrosexual. I am not macho. I am normal. I don’t even wear nail paint,” Arjun, 40, face of Nivea Men’s cream, told reporters at the announcement of new global brand position for the men’s range here Tuesday.

The actor, voted as the most desirable man of the country, says it’s just a perception.

“I will make sure that I am the most desirable man of 2013 or else Nivea will throw me out. I don’t believe in taking these tags seriously. It’s just a perception. Everybody can be desirable if they take care of themselves,” said the National Award-winning actor known for his work in films like “Rock On!!” and “Raajneeti”.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s upcoming film ‘Balupu’ movie is gathering buzz every day. The latest update is that the sensuous beauty Lakshmi Rai will be making a special appearance and the rumor is that she has been signed for a whopping amount. Ravi Teja has pinned high hopes on this film as he hasn’t tasted success with his previous flicks. She last appeared beside Nandamuri Balakrishna in Adhinayakudu and is currently starring in Kodi Rama Krishna’s latest directorial, Rani Ranamma.

Shruti Hassan and Anjali are teaming up with Ravi Teja in this film. Gopichand Maleneni is directing this film. This is the second combination of Gopi and Ravi after ‘Don Seenu’. Param V Potluri is producing the film on ‘PVP Cinema’ banner. The movie is expected to hit theatres in the first week of June.

 

Director Puri Jaggannadh is busy wrapping up the post production works of ‘Iddarammayilatho’ starring Allu Arjun, Amala Paul and Catherine Tresa in the lead roles. Puri’s next project will be a multi-starrer movie which will feature Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Nitin in the lead roles. Puri is currently working on refining the script. This project may go on to sets once Nithin completes his Courier Boy Kalyan and Allu completes his Race Gurram.

DS Rao who earlier produced movies like Pilla Jamindar and Mr Nookayya will be lolling money bags for this project. The casting of the movie is being finalized. More details of this project are awaited.

 

Rumors were floating in filmnagar that ‘Iddarammayilatho’ release was put off citing IPL season. But all this reports were squashed by the producer of the film Bandla Ganesh. The movie will hitting screens as per schedule tweeted Ganesh. “Blockbuster iddarammaailatho grand release 24 May, Thank U @purijagan @ThisIsDSP Stylish star, bless-:)),” tweeted Ganesh. Currently, the last minute post production works of the movie are going on and the movie will go to censor next week.

Stylish star Allu Arjun will be seen in the role of ‘rockstar’ in this film. Amala Paul and Catherine Tresa are the female leads. Puri is directing this film and this is second combination of Puri and Arjun. Devisri Prasad rendered music. Ganesh is producing the movie on ‘Parameshwara Arts’ banner.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Johnny’, ‘Kushi’ and ‘Gudumba Shankar’ films saw a singer in him. And it’s been quite a while that he has lend his voice in any of his films so far. Now the Powerstar is all set to croon again in his forthcoming film, tentatively titled as ‘Atharintiki Daredi’ directed by Trivikram Srinivas.

‘Atharintiki Dharedhi’ is almost confirmed as the title of the movie but an official announcement is yet to be made. Samantha is playing the female lead role and Praneetha will be seen in second lead role. The film is produced by BVSN Prasad under ‘Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra’ banner. Reliance Entertainment is co-producing the movie. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music.
