Tamil film director Kalanjiyam filed a defamation suit against heroine Anjali.

He filed the petition in the Magistrate court at Salem. He said in his petition that Anjali’s remarks had hurt the sentiments of his supporters. The court which admitted the petition, has posted further hearing of the case to May 13.

It may be recalled that Anjali told the media that her aunt and Kalanjiyam have been harassing her. She also alleged that they were using her as ATM and using her hard-earned money for their luxuries.

‘I was never interested to do cameo in my past. I also doubt if I will do the same in my near future too. My role in ‘Saradaga Ammayitho’ is energetic and comes for few minutes in second half. Both producer and director convinced me to do this and I feel really happy now,’ charmi says. There will be a song shot on charmi to come in last stages of film to give a surprising kick to audience.

Noted rap singer of bollywood, baba sehgal was injured on the sets of ‘Rudramadevi’. While canning an action sequence on baba sehgal, his hairline got fractured. Straightaway, he was rushed to a nearby hospital. The doctors advised him to take a rest of one month.

It is a known thing that baba sehgal is doing the role of one of the villains of ‘Rudramadevi’. His name in the movie is Nagadevudu.This is his debut movie as an actor. Meanwhile, he got popularity in tollywood as a singer through the songs such as, ‘Roop tera mastana of ‘Rickshawvodu’, title songs of ‘Jalsa’ and ‘Gabbar Singh’. He is a good fan of Power Star Pawan Kalyan.

The movie was earlier planned to be titled as ‘Chinnodu – Peddhodu’. Since the title gives equal importance to both the heroes, Akkineni fans pressurized the producer to drop the title. And now we learn that Sunil’s role in the movie was significantly chopped down to elevate Chaitanya. Sunil even do not have a song in the movie except for a combination song. The role of Sunil in the original is very significant. We will have to see how this will result in the output.

The movie is the remake of Tamil super hit film, Vettai. Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam fame Dolly is directing this film. Brahmanandam, Ashutosh Rana are playing important roles for which music is scored by Thaman. Bellamkonda Suresh is producing the film on Sri Sai Ganesh Productions banner.

King Nagarjuna, Nayanatara’s family entertainer Greeku Veerudu which was released last week got good reviews from analysts and even people who watched were happy with the family entertainer.

However Dasarath’s Santosham kind of film did not bring any ‘santosham’ in the lives of buyers. Film unit was happy with the good talk even after collections are not that encouraging on the first day. They even planned for a success tour but they are surprised at collections not picking up even after the good talk.

Though King Nag attracted everyone’s attention with different getup and Nayanatara sizzled, no one showed interest in the film and even filmmakers did not generate interest with promos. Greeku Veerudu got shock in summer with Badshah and Gunde Jaari Gallantayyinde minting money at the box office. Analysts predict that the film can not even reach break even.
