Shruti Haasan bags Allu Arjun film
With three Telugu films already up her sleeves, southern actress Shruthi Haasan has signed an untitled Telugu project opposite actor Allu Arjun.
“Hey tweeple happy to say that I’m a part of another Telugu project starring Allu Arjun. To be directed by Surendar Reddy! Really looking forward,” Shruti posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.
She is currently busy shooting for Telugu films “Balupu” with Ravi Teja, “Yevadu” with Ram Charan Teja and a yet-to-be titled film with Junior NTR.
“2013 has been a super special year for me! Work is worship”, she further tweeted.
No National Award for ‘Barfi!’, Priyanka upset
Actress Priyanka Chopra, whose performance in ‘Barfi!’ was appreciated by the audience, is upset that the film did not get a single National award. The winners of the 60th National Film Awards were announced here Monday.
“I am feeling bad that ‘Barfi!’ did not win National Award. But then it is up to the jury why they did not give the award,” Priyanka told reporters here at the launch of her first item song ‘Babli badmaash’.
‘Barfi!’ was a love story between a deaf and mute boy, played by Ranbir Kapoor, and an autistic girl, played by Priyanka. Though the movie did not win a National Award, Priyanka is happy for her cousin Parineeti won a special mention for her performance in “Ishaqzaade”.
“I am happy for her. Now in the Chopra family, there are two National Awards. The whole day, I had to explain what special mention means,” said Priyanka.
Not ‘Pilla Kaaki’…NTR is ‘Pilla Puli’

Without junior ntr, there is no way TDP can go for next elections. He is the prime face to campaign for Naidu because one strong hit either with ‘Baadshah’ or Harish Shankar’s film can make this ‘Pilla Kaaki’ to become a ‘Pilla Puli.’ So, it is better for channels to stop airing such shows,’ one of the NTR Fans opined.
