B.Jaya who earlier directed movie like Chantigadu, Sawaal etc is one of the very few lady directors in Telugu. She is the only notable lady director after Vijaya Nirmala. But unfortunately, all her recent movies turned out to be duds at box office. Things were okay till Nandini Reddy’s Ala Modhalaindhi released last year. The movie was a huge hit.
Jaya was disappointed and jealous of the amount of media glare Nandini Reddy received. She was reportedly having sleepless nights since then. Currently, her new film Lovely is on the sets.Jaya had pinned high hopes on this movie. The outcome of the movie will settle the scores between the two.
