This is because film makers willing to pay sky rocketing checks to heroines. Recently Sonakshi Sinha recieved a pay check of Rs 5crs to star in Prince Mahesh Babu’s film. No heroine can dream of earning that amount though she stars in a top class Bollywood film as lead heroine.

This is the main reason why Aishwarya Rai earlier starred in Rajanikanth’s Robot which prompted Deepika Padukone to feature in Kochadiyan without any second thoughts. Even Priyanka Chopra is making her intentions clear by starring in a bilingual entertainer Zanjeer. Style Icon Sonam Kapoor is also readying her Tollywood platform. If this goes on forever then Southern beauties will face tough competition.

Rakul Preet Singh who made her filmy debut with Keratam is going to make her Bollywood debut beside Saif Ali Khan.The movie is reportedly titled ‘Yaariyan’. The story is about five school friends in Darjeeling and it will be the directorial debut of Bhushan Kumar’s wife Divya. Viacom 18 and T-series are together producing the movie.

She is currently shooting for her untitled Tollywood film opposite Adi. It is a romantic comedy directed by Subba Reddy and co-directed by Sai Ramesh. Along with Keratam, She had starred in three other Kannada films but none of them could achieve success. And now the Delhi based model had pinned high hopes on Yaariyan to make a mark on Bollywood.

Bubbly beauty Tapsee is quite nervous now and is reportedly biting her nails too much. And the reason for this is the beauty is having 3 releases lined up in the coming three months. Her debut Bollywood film Chashme Baddoor is slated to hit theatres on 5th April. She is very keen on making it a success and is putting her 100% in promoting the film.

And on the other side, Two more releases are lined up in Telugu too. First one being Gundello Godari. The film has been delayed for quite some time and is releasing on Mahila Diwas which happens to be on 8th March. Then there is Shadow, in which she is cast opposite Venkatesh. The film will come to theatres on 28th March.

Vikram apologizes Rana !

Finally, there is a subham card for the ongoing spat between Rana and Vikram. Rana had revealed that Vikram had apologized for his comments and said they were misquoted. Both the actors seem to be satisfied and decided to movie forward pushing the issue aside. “For all still asking. Yes, Ikve spoken to Vikram myself he apologized and said he was misquoted and will speak to the convened jurn”, he posted in Twitter.

The controversy began when Vikram in an interview said that Rana has put his Tollywood career at stake by entering Bollywood. Rana swiftly reacting asked him mind his own business and think after his own career, where he had 10 flops to his credit.

Iddarammayilatho now in Summer race !

Allu Arjun’s forthcoming film Iddarammayilatho is progressing briskly in Spain. The movie shooting will be almost complete except for some 5 days work. Producer Bandla Ganesh is gunning a summer release as he’s fast wrapping up the shooting of the film. So, Iddarammayilatho will now be competing with NTR’s Baadshah, Venky’s Shadow and Nagarjuna’s Greeku Veerudu for a slot of release.

Iddarammayilatho is about an Indian youngster falling in love with two young girls in a foreign country. Major part of the film was filmed in foreign locations as per the script. Devi Sri Prasad who delivered many hits with Bunny will be scoring music for this movie. Ganesh Babu will be producing the movie under Parameswara Arts banner.

Flop hero pins hope on Flop director

Young hero Gopichand who is currently acting in Chandra Shekar Yeleti’s directorial, Jackpot will join hands with veteran director B.Gopal who has earlier directed some block-buster hits like Narasimha Naidu, Samara Simha Reddy and Indra. The movie will be produced by Anand Prasad who had earlier produced ‘Souryam’ and ‘Wanted’ with Gopichand. Rasool Ellora is going to handle the cinematography and Mani Sharma will be scoring the music

Gopal had reportedly prepared an aptly suitable film for Gopichand’s body language. The movie will go on to sets once Gopichand completes his Jackpot. Currently, the script work of the movie is going on. Hopefully this movie will revive the diminishing careers of both Gopichand and B.Gopal!

When that situation comes to a star, it is more painful as there would comments and complains about his capability. Right now Naga Chaitanya is going through the same ordeal with his latest movie, Autonagar Surya. The movie production was halted midway due to the bad finances of the makers.And now we hear that heard that Producer Siva Prasad Reddy is planning to intervene in Autonagar Surya issue. D. Siva Prasad Reddy is a close aide of Nagarjuna and only produces movies with Akkineni family. Currently, negotiations are going on. Two more songs and some patch work of the movie are yet to be shot.

Samantha is the female lead. The movie is being produced by K Achi Reddy under Max India banner while RR Movie Makers presenting it. Anoop Rubens is the music director of the film.

Dasari planning his 151st directorial

Veteran film director Dasari Narayana Rao’s debut directorial Thatha Manavadu will be completing 40 years in March this year. Dasari had wielded megaphone for 150 movies in the period of this 40 years. On the occasion of completing 40 years in the industry, Dasari will be commencing his 151st directorial venture.

Dasari was an active politician during the time of Rajiv Gandhi. After the leader’s assassination, he planned to start a party called Telugu Thalli. Later, Dasari was elected to the Rajya Sabha. He became the Minister of state in Ministry of Coal. Said to be a confidante of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Dasari once again became active in politics after Congress Party came back to power in 2004.

Vishwaroopam release was plagued due to the ban on the movie alleging the movie had anti-Islam scenes in it. Kamal Hassan had to fight in courts and finally agree to make cuts to satisfy the objecting people. Finally the pain is over and Kamal had recovered decent amount of money from the movie. And now he is planning the sequel to it.

People who have watched Vishwaropam got to see the small teaser of the second part towards the end of the film. There were also reports that the major part of the shooting of the movie’s sequel is complete. And the rest of the shoot will be wrapped up in 15 days. After which the movie will enter in to extensive post-production phase. There were reports earlier that Kamal had already shot majorly for the second part along with the first part and this latest news only vindicates the same.

Rana launches scathing attack on Vikram !

A casual mention of a co-star’s name to a media question initiates a fight between two big stars in Tollywood and Kollywood film industries. They are Daggubati Rana and Vikram from Kollywood, who had a good following in Telugu audiences too.

Vikram was reportedly answering a question on his unsuccessful Bollywood stint to a Newspaper. He reportedly quoted Rana as example, “Look at Rana Daggubati. He started in the Telugu industry and came to Bollywood but he hadn’t made any headway in the south. Now he’s not bothered about the Telugu industry. To work in Bollywood, I have to leave everything and come here.”

But, this irks Rana, who in return sharply replied, “Dear Vikram, how can you bring comparison between us? I am just 2.5 years old in the industry, where as you are 25 years experienced. Instead of knowing that your career is not heading in right direction with close to 10 odd disasters in your kitty, how come you compare with me, who is hardly a beginner in the industry? I suggest you to concentrate on your own and let me on my own. Just not take anything away still a huge fan of few of your films.”

Y S Jagan Strategy on Telangana with New Party

Another party has emerged to achieve Telangana state.The new party was launched by the TDP Telangana Forum convener Yerrabelli Dayakara Rao’s brother Yerrabelli Pradeep Rao. He named the new party as “Telangana Nirmana Samiti”.

Making the announcement, Pradeep Rao said no party was sincerely working for achieving Telangana state. He said he would try to bring all the parties working for Telangina under one umbrella.

It may be mentioned here that Pradeep Rao had hobnobbed with the YSR Congress of the Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. It was said at one time that he would join that party. But he has not joined the party, as Jagan had not made his party give a firm commitment on the statehood issue in the all-party meeting held at New Delhi on December 28.

Now Pradeep Rao’s announcement is seen as the tactic of Jagan to float a Telangana party that would have an alliance with his YSR Congress. As Jagan cannot have a tie up with TRS or BJP, he got this new party floated, say sources.

If this party establishes credibility in the Telangana region, Jagan could have electoral alliance with it. The new party could use Jagan’s goodwill and Jagan also could present himself as a pro-Telangana force because of his alliance with the new party.

While Jagan would have to be a minor partner if he joins hands with TRS, he would be a major partner if he joins hands with Pradeep Rao’s party.

Will MIM juggernaut roll ?

Now that Akbaruddin Owasi is out on bail, people and political analysts are keenly watching whether MIM juggernaut will roll bulldozing Cong in the state. When Akbaruddin Owasi made those controversial remarks, none of the top state leaders condemned him, though second rung leaders went hammer and tongs. Many felt that all the parties were playing safe at that time. YSRCP with whom MIM is having alliance chose to support him blatantly questioning Cong Govt intentions of sending all those oppose them packing to jail.

That point seems to have some validity since days after Akbar’s arrest, Asad was also sent to jail in a pending case. Many felt CM Kiran and Cong Govt wants to show MIM who the boss was. However now both the leaders are out MIM party and its cadre are planning to take huge rallies to celebrate the moment. It has to be seen whether the party will have anything to gain from the entire episode.

BJP’s ‘Mega’ plan with Sirish !

National opposition party BJP which is waging an all out attack on Cong party in the lead up for 2014 general elections is chalking out strategies and roping in important people to launch missiles on Cong party all over India.

As such BJP feels Cong is on sticky wicket in Andhra Pradesh and since many pollsters predicted 3rd place for it,BJP is keen to grab its share. It upped the ante for the cause of telangana and now yesterday it roped in Sirish Bharadwaj, former son in law of Mega Star and Union Tourism Minister Chiranjeevi.

It feels he will be its trump card as many are predicting Chiranjeevi will be entrusted with Party’s campaign in the state and at that time, it can use Sirish can be used to counter him taking Chiru by horns. One has to wait and see how far BJP’s son in law strategy work for the party.

Kirshna Vamshi’s ‘Paisa’ nears completion

Creative director Krishna Vamsi’s new film titled Paisa with young heartthrob Nani as the protagonist is carrying its shoot in Malaysia. Currently the final schedule of the movie is going on there. The makers of the movie are planning to release the logo of the movie on 24h of this month. This is the first movie in the combination of Nani and Krishna Vamsi. The ace director is so determined to deliver a hit as he is reeling under the pressure of flops for quite some time now.

Nani is romancing a Keralite beauty Katherine Theresa, who is making her debuting in Tollywood with Paisa. Ramesh Puppala of Mirapakaya fame is producing the movie under Yellow Flow banner and Santosh Rai is handling the lens.

We are not speaking of Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie or his son-in-law Sirish Bhardwaj’s political entry. Both of them are going to take on each other in real life. Sirish along with 200 of his followers had joined Bharatiya Janata Party yeesh of Chiranjeevi who is in the opposition camp of Congress.

Sirish Bhardwaj created sensation few years ago by eloping with Chiru’s younger daughter, Srija. After then, they had a kid but things turned worse later. Srija herself filed a dowry harassment case on Sirish and his parents. And had been living with her parents since then. Sirish is not in news since then except for 1-2 times in which he had to attend the court hearing.

Promising young actor Sharwanand may not have good commercial success to boast off but the actor is respected all over the state for his unique selection of scripts. He is equally popular in Tamil Nadu and now we hear that he is all set to make his debut in Bollywood. And that too with a film directed by Ram Gopal Varma. The film reportedly is the sequel to 1998 Super hit movie, Satya.

RGV had introduced JD Chakravarthy to Bollywood with Satya and now he is introducing Sharwanand with its sequel. Coincidentally both are Telugu actors. On the other side, Sharwanand is currently busy in the shooting of his Telugu movie Yemito ee maaya.

Censor trims Allah Allah song in Jabardasth !

Few days ago, Hero Siddharth had vented his anger on the Censor Board in his social networking page. And here is the reason for it. The movie had suffered 4 cuts for silly reasons in the movie. The famous Allah Allah song was asked to edit stating religious reasons. The makers have decided to replace the word Allah Allah with Halla Gulla. The movie received U/A certificate and is all set to release on February 21st. Here is the detail of all the cuts in the movie.

1 Delete the visuals of Animals (Horse) or submit NOC from Animal Welfare Board of India (NOC Submitted).

2 Displayed statutory warning on drinking and smoking wherever it occur and submit a strong editorial justification for depiction of smoking and drinking.

3 a) Deleted the dialogue ‘lancham teesukunna nyayamurthi paapalu, mosam chesina Kalki, Nityananda Swamy’. b) Mayawati (deleted)

4 Mute ‘Allah Allah’ in the song and movie wherever it occurs (replaced the word ‘Allah Allah’ with approved word ‘Halla Gulla’)

Baadshah audio release date Confirmed

Here is a good news for all NTR fans. The audio and movie release dates of Young Tiger NTR’s upcoming movie Baadshah are now confirmed. The audio release event will take place in Hyderabad on March 10th and the movie will hit the screens worldwide on April 5th. This was revealed by the movie producer Bandla Ganesh himself in Twitter. The movie unit is currently on Europe tour where they will film two songs in Switzerland and Spain.

Kajal Agarwal is playing the female lead in the movie while Navdeep and Kelly Dorjee will be seen in negative roles in this action entertainer. Gopi Mohan and Kona Venkat are writing the script along with Sreenu Vaitla. Thaman is composing the music.

Darsakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao is the one who controls Tollywood industry and what ever he says carries weight with those influential people present in the industry.

Dasari who even worked as Union Coal Minister at a audio release function of ‘Love Touch’ made his views on Telangana clear which will surely act as Boost for those advocating the formation of telangana. For long Telangana protoganists have been alleging that Tollywood is showing discrimination against heroes from telangana region.

None of them spoke supporting them but now Dasari Narayana Rao during the audio release said heroes from Telangana region should come forward to showcase their talent. He said earlier there used to be gems like Prabhakar Reddy and Kanta Rao and now though Nitin is there, there is need for some more heroes from the region.
