Super Star Mahesh and Creative director Sukumar’s combination movie is one of the most awaited project for Mahesh fans. The movie which turned to reality last year and had completed two schedules of shooting was put on hold so that Mahesh could accommodate dates to Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. And now the latest schedule of the movie began today in Hyderabad. Mahesh will join the shoot from 23rd. The movie will now be shot non stop till completion.

After Kajal Agarwal was shown the door from the project, A new comer Kriti Sanon is pairing up with Mahesh in this movie. Anil Sunkara, Gopichand and Ram Achanta are producing the film under 14 Reels Entertainments banner. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. Rathnavelu is cranking the camera.

Post  the controversies of Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu and Denikaina Ready last year, Censor Board had became more watchful and alert. Last year, Rana’s Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum and Ee Rojullo director Maruthi’s Bus Stop had to face the brunt of Censor authorities. Later, it was the makers of Jagan Nirdoshi who had to change their movie title to clear Censor formalities.And now sensing the danger of one more controversy, the Censor authorities have asked the makers of ‘D/O Ram Gopal Varma’ to change their movie title. The makers had to heed to the order and now the movie is titled ‘D/O Varma’.

Naveena Jackson and Kavitha Aaras are playing the lead roles in this film. Khaja is a prominent playwright and he has won the Nandi award 9 times in the past. This is his debut film as a director. Narendra Reddy is producing the film on Forever Fantastic Films banner.

Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma, who always creates hype and hysteria before every release of his film, has decided to keep it simple this time with his latest film, The Attacks of 26/11. The movie shooting was completed without any hype and is now set for release. This is the first time when RGV’s film has been shot under such low profile.

The movie made on the true incidents based on Mumbai terror attacks had completed its shooting part and is gearing up for release on March 1st. Both the Telugu and Hindi versions will hit the screens on the same day. Directed by Ram Gopal Varma and produced by Alumbra Entertainment and Eros International, The Attacks of 26/11 features Nana Patekar, and Sanjeev Jaiswal (As Ajmal Kasab) among others. Ramu was assisted by Rommel Rodrigues,who had written a book  Kasab the face of 26/11′ based on the incident.

Sensational director Vinayak who is elated with the success of his recent release Nayak, is in no mood of taking any controversies. His Nayak was plaued with a controversy. YSRCP MLA Gandi Babji had recently lodged a complaint on Nayak team for intentionally defaming him by naming the villain in the movie with his name.  He had openly apologized to YSRCP MLA Gandi Babji.

Speaking in the success tour of Nayak in Vishakapatnam,Vinayak said, “I don’t have any intentions to insult any person with my films. In fact, while I am preparing the script of the film I am not even aware of the MLA and his name. I just kept the name only for rhythmic purpose. However, I apologize Gandi Babji for hurting his feelings and promise to remove the objectionable scenes from the movie soon.”

Venkatesh’s ‘Shadow’, which has been deferred due to his multi-starrer venture ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ is all set for entertain fans. The shooting part of the movie nears completion. Only a song and fight of the movie are to be canned before the movie enters extensive post production mode. The movie is the biggest budget movie in Venky’s career and is shot in cozy locations of Switzerland and Malaysia. The makers are planning to release the movie on April 12th in summer season.

Srikanth and Madhurima will be seen in important roles. ‘Billa’ and ‘Shakthi’ fame Meher Ramesh is directing the movie. Tapsee is playing the love interest of Venky.  Paruchuri Siva Ram Prasad is producing the movie on U Square movies banner and ParuchuriKireeti is presenting it. SS Thaman is rendering the music.

Nikesha Patel who made her debut opposite Pawan Kalyan in Puli disappeared in to horizon after the movie’s failure. Later she became busy in Kannada industry. Currently, she is starring beside Kalyan Ram in OM. The movie shooting is complete and is awaiting release. And now she had bagged one more chance in Telugu. Producer cum director MS Raju is making a movie titled RUM – Rambha, Urvashi, Menaka. Trisha and Poorna are already selected to play the lead roles in the movie. And now we hear that Nikesha Patel is selected for the third role.

RUM is the third directorial of MS Raju after Vaana and Tunnega Tuneega. This movie will go on to sets shortly. MS Raju had not tasted success as director so far and he hopes to make it big this time with RUM.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is short of success at the box office for a long time. All his releases in the last year are duds and now he had pinned high hopes on the movie for bagging success. Balupu had completed bulk of its shooting. The makers are planning to kick start the promotion campaign of their movie from Ravi Teja’s Birthday (January 26th). The movie is directed by Gopichand Mallineni who earlier directed Don Seenu with Ravi Teja and Bodyguard with Venkatesh. Ravi Teja will be seen romancing Shruti Hassan in the movie. Anjali is one more heroine. Latest music sensation Thaman will be composing music for the movie. The movie is being produced by Prasad V. Potluri under PVP cinemas banner.

Director Gunashekar is making a movie on Rani Rudramma Devi with Anushka in the lead role. Guna is short of success at the box office The Pre Production  work of the movie is going on at full swing. Anushka who was very rarely seen on Telugu screen last year will have to allot bulk of dates for Rudramma Devi and Baahubali in 2013. She had started her home work for both the movies. Now he became very choosy in selecting his projects and currently doing ‘Courier boy Kalyan’ and ‘Gunde jaari gallanthayyindhe’. Recently he bagged another lucky opportunity. Director of typical movies like ‘Athanokkade’, ‘Athidhi’, ‘Ashok’, ‘Kick’, ‘Oosaravilli’ Surender Reddy is going to direct Nitin in his next film. All the script work is already done for this venture. Surender reddy is now busy in finalizing a movie with Allu Arjun. It is heard that Nitin’s project will move to sets after this project with Bunny.
 

Complete details of this film are yet to be out. Surender Reddy is famous for showing star heroes in a different way in action sequences. So now we can expect Nitin in stylish way.
