2011 witnessed sensational dubbing attack especially from Kollywood which made even top Tollywood stars run for cover postponing their films. Such was the attack that top film makers even clamored for ban on dubbing films as they are eating away their profits. This situation arose due to substandard storyline of telugu films and at the same time creative and innovative narration of kollywood films.
 

Movie lovers used to consider Kamal Hasan, Karthi, Vikram, Vishal,Surya as telugu heroes only and give tremendous response to their films like straight telugu films. This bowled these heroes who envisaged plans of doing their own dubbing and even starring in straight telugu films. However all that changed in 2012 as most of the crazy dubbing films disappeared from silver screen much to the shock of these heroes.
 

When Karthi’s Awara became tremendous hit, his debut film Paruthiveeran was released as Malligadu. But it bombed at box office and similar is the case with Sakuni. His brother Surya’s case is no different as his prestigious Brothers did not do well. Vikram’s Sivatandavam, Jeeva’s Mask, Adi’s Ekaveera, Shankar’s Snehitudu and Dhanush’s Kolaveridi special ‘3’ all went with out trace. It is no different for Ok Ok, Nirantaram Nee Oohale, Reniguna and many other films.This proved that only strong storyline and gripping narration is the sure way to success.

Dasari Narayana Rao owned Siri media had bagged the Nizam distribution rights of Ram Charan’s upcoming movie, Nayak. This deal had reportedly costed a whopping 10.5 Crore for Siri media. This amount does not include prints and publicity costs.

This is a huge amount considering the fact Ram Charan’s earlier movie, Racha costed its Nizam distributor 7.47Cr  NRA price. This indicates the craze of Nayak in trade circles. Nayak is all set for release on January 9th in the Sankranthi season. Kajal Agarwal and Amala Paul are acting as the female leads. VV Vinayak is directing the movie while DVV Danayya is producing the movie under Universal movies banner. Thaman is composing the music.

Tollywood hero Pawan Kalyan is not the one to be perturbed by the happening around him. He has his own set of goals and aims and works for the fulfillment of his mission. Even if some obstacles come inbetween he never loses his focus. That was the reason that even after so many flops he worked with single minded devotion for each of his film. After Panjaa many wrote him off but then he created a sensation becoming a trendsetter coming as Gabbar Singh.

Tarakratna from Nandamuri family is preparing for grand strike to score sensational hit and shut the mouths of all his detractors. He made his debut iwith ‘Okato Number Kurradu’ and recently came with ‘Nandeeswarudu’ but nothing worked out for him unlike other Nandamuri heroes. This time however he is saying ‘Nenu Chala Worst’ and hopes his negative publicity will work positively for him. His film was launched yesterday in a grand manner and he will be donning the role of ‘Yama’ God of Death. This role is glorified in the industry by Sr NTR and more recently by Jr NTR. Now Tarak is targeting both Sr and Jr NTRs and by mesmerizing all with his performance he want to show who is the God in tollywood.
 

Tarak is currently starring in ‘Mike Testing 143’ and also in ‘Chudalani Cheppalani’. It has to be seen whether he will be able to emerge successful with his riveting performance as ‘Yama’. Tarak during the release of his previous film ‘Nadeeswarudu’ in front of full media gaze went overboard and ballistic asking everyone to address him as NTR. He later corrected himself that he like them to call like that only for the film. However the film went without any trace. Now it has to be seen what measures he is taking to taste his first victory.

Fans always die for their heroes as they visualize themselves in them and consider them as their own mirror image. However there is limit for everything. In the name of hero worship if fans do social activities like blood donation, provide free education, food for poor etc people will appreciate and it will also bring good name to their heroes. However when they read between the statements of other stars and try to attack them rather than taking them in the right spirit then problems arises.
 

Tollywood young hero Rana who made his debut with Leader and then featured in flims like Nenu Naa Rakshasi, Naa Ishtam, Dum Maro Dum,Department is still looking for success and is coming with Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum. When scribes asked why he did not score a hit, he drew comparison with Megastar and said only 40% of his films were mega hits and one can not predict whether a film would be a success or hit.
 

There is nothing wrong in the statement but mega fans are up in their arms canvassing that Rana insulted their hero. Rana only said one can not predict the fate of the film and not all films would become hit.

Collection King Mohan Babu is over the moon with his son Manchu Vishnu scoring a good hit after a long time with ‘Denikaina Ready’. Now he is going hammer and tongs at who ever is opposing him. Right after the verdict on the film is out and it was declared a hit by film critics and trade analysts, he once again threatened to drag Regional Officer of Censor Board, Dhanalakshmi to court for referring his film to review committee just hours before the day of release. He even went on to allege that she and her husband seems to be corrupt as ACB conducted raids on them.
 

Denikaina Ready has many dialogues that directly and indirectly makes fun of Brahmins and some even hurt their feelings. One such incident is Brahmin lady going overboard with any male she interacts saying he is like her husband. Brahmin organizations started protesting against the film and yesterday they took out a procession shouting slogans against Mohan Babu and Manchu Vishnu at his house.However he was not in his house as he went to offer prayers at temple along with Vishnu at Nellore.
 

Responding to the allegations Mohan Babu said he would never hurt any caste and the film is a decent comedy entertainer. On the protests he said they were not Brahmins and even if they are, they are poor Brahmins who come for alms and had he been there he would have taken care of them. One wonder how could Mohan Babu miss the dialogues, scenes of chicken and haleem with Brahmins in his film. Wonder what will be the answer from Mohan Babu on this.
 

Manchu Vishnu who has been reeling under string of flops finally delighted Manchu fans and movie lovers when his film ‘Denikaina Ready’ starring Hansika Motvani was declared a decent hit at the box office by the trade analysts. Film critics gave thumbs up for the comedy in the film which revolved around Brahmanandam. They even lauded the performance of Vishnu who vastly improved his expressions and dancing capabilities. This bought smiles to the Manchu family.

Now even more encouraging reports coming from the box office that it is overtaking even Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Cameraman Gangato Rambabu’ in collections. Film makers revealed that the film crossed Vishnu’s successful starrer ‘Dhee’ collections in just five days. Now Vishnu has decided to stick to his strength which is comedy rather than try some thing new and burn his hands. So he is getting ready for success strikes on silver screen soon with film makers queuing for the young hero with some interesting scripts. Now it is for Vishnu to plan his career in a right manner so that he won’t deviate from the success path.

Now Manchu family hopes that with Vishnu and Lakshmi proving their mettle, Manoj also find his lady luck soon.

King Nagarjuna’s much awaited socio fantasy wonder ‘Damarukam’ created ripples couple of weeks back when its release dates were announced. Movie lovers and analysts waited with bated breath for the spectacular show down between Nagajuna’s ‘Damarukam’ and Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Cameraman Gangato Rambabu’. However Damarukam got postponed and many at that time felt that it was Power Star mania that prompted film makers to postpone the release of the film. Even when Cameraman was struck with controversy, Damarukam film makers did not dare to release the film prompting speculations that Damarukam has been left in dumps.

It was even rumored that King Nagarjuna also lost interest in the project and is concentrating on his romantic entertainer ‘Love Story’ and ‘Bhai’. Film analysts point out that it was the fault of RR.Movie Makers who plunged into losses with its funds stuckup in other projects which resulted in the delay in the project and leading to uncertainty over the future of the film. Many started speculating on the rift between producer and director vis a vis Nagarjuna.

Srinivas Reddy who directed the film said in a tense tone ‘I am shocked to hear the false stories circulated in media. When they are reporting of Rs. 15 Crores spent just on graphics, I can’t bear that. We have just invested Rs. 6 to 7 Crores. It is our wonderful planning and execution of Firefly team we came out with good quality in least budget. Others could have easily spend double than us for the same outcome. Even there are no differences between any of our producer R. Venkat, hero Nagarjun and my self,’
