Recently Siddharth has stepped out from the project “Sukumarudu” due to clash of his dates with other big projects and Aadi has been roped in his place .Ashok of Pilla Zamindar fame will be the director and K Venugopal and KVV Satyanarayana are the producers for this flick. Nisha Agarwal will be pairing with him in the movie. The regular shooting of the film starts towards the end of this month

Sai Kumar’s son Aadi’s second Telugu film “Lovely” was released recently but could not attract the audience. Aadi had pinned high hopes on the movie to do well at the box office.

Aswini Dutt’s Vyjayanthi movies banner was once known for making huge movies with crazy combinations. Some of those movies were huge hits and kept the cash registers ringing loud. However, times have changed significantly and all his moves started to bite dust leaving the mega producer in debt. Also his bad reputation in paying remunerations on time had lost him the backing of several heroes.

Hence, Dutt had decided to take the other route. He is trying to rope in medium budget movies and small directors to try his luck. He is currently producing Ravi Teja’s next movie under Solo fame Parasuram direction and a project of NTR with Sampath Nandi direction is on cards.

The warrior getup in Magadheera had not only changed the dynamics of Telugu cinema trade, it also created strong urge in NTR to portray roles with such getup. He had tried one in Shakthi and failed miserably. The getup actually turned negative for the movie. However, NTR did not give up. He once gain tried them in Ruler song in his latest movie, Dammu. The song which was an instant chart buster when the audio released but the onscreen presentation was a huge let down and the warrior get up once again proved a disappointment for NTR.

Lets see if NTR’s desire will be fulfilled in future!

Rana Daggubati and Ram Charan had already plunged in to Bollywood and are seriously trying their luck there. One of the other serious contenders is Mahesh Babu. Mahesh had suddenly shot to fame with two back to back blockbusters. His TV commercial for Thums Up national wide had suddenly attracted eye balls from all sections of India. He is now a well known face through out India. With all this in his kitty, the big question asked is when is his debut in Hindi cinema.

Sources close to Mahesh tells us that the actor is seriously considering to step in to Bollywood but he wanted to make it big just like in Telugu and is waiting for rigt director and script for his debut.

That’s an interesting strategy. Isn’t it?

NTR is showing his power at the box office with Dammu yet again. He has been shaking the box office with divide talk and average reviews. Dammu managed to collect above 13.5 crore rupees in first three days and that too in AP alone. Besides it has done well in the first weekend in Karnataka too. It is too early to say if Dammu reaches safe zone or not as the talk is still not so encouraging.

Keeping commercial outcome of Dammu aside, one thing is pretty clear with this movie. NTR is the best performer among the current crop of actors. He is extremely brilliant in emotional scenes. No one comes close to him in this aspect. He is very good at mouthing powerful dialogues. None others can beat him in this department.

NTR is improving with comedy timing and is decent in romantic scenes. He is a pretty good dancer and fights so naturally. There is raw power in his fights. All in all NTR is a complete actor and Dammu once again proves a point to his critics. He should have won at least two Nandi awards by now. Somehow he has been missing to bag the best actor award despite superb performances. Hope Dammu fetches him his first Nandi as the best actor.

So far, the entire NTR clan had one set of common fans and followers, particularly Balakrishna and Jr NTR who enjoyed the same fan following. Fans of Balakrishna were by default fans of Jr NTR and vice versa. But things have changed overnight. Last Friday, when Jr NTR’s much-awaited flick ‘Dammu’ hit the screens, hate messages started doing the rounds within hours of the film’s release saying that Balakrishna’s fans should not support the film.While mixed talks are continuing, there are those who are trying to figure ou the reasons for the film not doing well. And a very shocking talk has begun to make rounds.

It is heard that Nandamuri Balakrishna is one of the key reasons to kill the film. Sources say he has given instructions to his fans and followers to spread negative talk through SMS. It is also heard that with his influence he has got the police forces to be stationed across many theatres in the state.

Usually, giving ‘A’ certificate is censor board’s job but implementing it is police department’s job. However, due to their various other assignments they don’t really care. But if they have a special force or pressure they will do it. Only someone powerful can do that. Buzz is that through Chandrababu Naidu, Balayya is using influence and the police is involving and sending away family audience.The other point is, Balayya scored hit with ‘Simha’ under Boyapati’s direction but if ‘Dammu’ also becomes a hit then credit will go to Boyapati. And it is heard that Balayya wants to prove that because he was there the film became a hit. If this talk is true then it sure is a major damage for ‘Dammu’.

The question now is whether ‘Dammu’, starring Jr NTR and Trisha, will do well in the box office. Well, if it doesn’t, we know who Jr NTR would blame.

For all those who still doubt on Pawan Kalyan’s dancing abilities, answer is going to be in the form of ‘Gabbar Singh.’ Like Mega Star who never performed big or mind blowing dance moments in his career, it’s the grace and body language which makes audience to go in whistles, even Power Star is to show the magic in same format. The second teaser of ‘Gabbar Singh’ released to media is a strong proof on how director Harish Shankar made Pawan to move his body.

Post ‘Kushi,’ never have we seen Pawan Kalyan performing dances wholeheartedly. However, he openly accepts of being not a good dancer yet a small shake is enough for Fans to take the film’s success sphere to a new high. This is what going to happen in ‘Gabbar Singh’ because neither Pawan nor choreographers could control their temptations for DSP’s mass tunes.

Well, Dammu opened well at the box office, but it is performing well below the expectations. It is likely to face problems from sixth day as the initial hype is gone now. Even though Dammu can hold its ground for another week or so, then it will have to make way for the next biggie Gabbar Singh. Buyers of Dammu will have to recover their investment in the meantime and it seems highly impossible with this talk.

However, NTR fans or the star himself need not worry too much about Dammu’s under par show. Why because the actor’s lineup of films look bright and promising. Srinu Vailta’s Badshah is NTR’s immediate release after Dammu. We all know that Vaitla is a director with special skills. He always blends the hero’s image with his style of entertainment and delivers minimum guarantee films. As pet the buzz, Badshah story has shaped up really well.

After Badshah, NTR has a film each with Puri Jagan and Trivikram. Both the directors are known for making films according to the strengths of the actors. Although Puri made a flop called Andhrawala with NTR, he is looking forward to settle the scores with a big hit. Trivikram on the other hand explores the funny side of actors and highlights their comedy angle in a brilliant fashion. Also these directors have a good following among the family audiences and class sections too. That will come in handy for NTR to expand his range as a star.

Surya is a sensation in kollywood and he has taken that to new level. Many stars in the film industry in private talk revealed that he is the inspiration for them to perform some stunning stunts in front of camera. Even Bollywood star Amir Khan who scored a sensational hit starring in remake of Surya’s hit ‘Gajini’, revealed that his ‘Dhoom-3’ character is inspired by Surya. He actually planned to remake Surya’s 7th Sense in Bollywood but some how it did not materialize.

Now Surya, sources say indulged in deadly ‘Operation Desert Storm’. He is starring in ‘Maatran’ under KV. Anand’s direction with features even cute Kajal. The film unit is presently shooting in Jaipur and when director explained him the scene that he had to shoot along with 500 artists in a desert under scorching sun with temperatures soaring up to 50 degrees, Surya performed his operation with utmost ease with out sweating much. All were surprised that during the entire incident his smile did not disappear even for a second.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has a fetish for guns and that is evident in most of his films. Puri Jagannadh once jocularly stated that it is easy to convince Pawan Kalyan with a script that allows him to carry a gun. But the very director won the appreciation of Power star with a subject that will not have any guns.

Interestingly Pawan’s love for guns was seen for the first time in Puri Jagan’s Badri. Even the director has a special love for guns. Almost every Puri has the backdrop of either mafia or police and hence the usage of guns is very high. Puri is making a film titled Devudu Chesina Manushulu in which there won’t be any guns and bullets.

Puri’s next film with Pawan, Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu also will stay away from guns. Pawan Kalyan plays a powerful journalist role in this film and he uses his brains rather than weapons as Rambabu. Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu is going to be a special film in Pawan’s career is what the buzz from industry circles say. If Pawan fans are missing vintage Power star who used to offer novelty with each film, then Rambabu is going to fulfill their dreams!

Jr.NTR’s ‘Dammu’ and Hollywood flick ‘Avengers’ are in side by side theaters at many A centers across the state. The effect is in turn seen on the second show and first show of the movies.

The comparison is not between these two films, as Jr’s movie will have an upper hand in Telugu circuit anyways. It is heard that kids and teens are opting to watch ‘Avengers’ if they get a slightest inconvenience at ‘Dammu’ ticket counters. With fans still rushing in to watch Junior’s flick on Monday too, kids who cannot stand all the way in line are jumping to the counters of that Hollywood movie available next.

They feel that both the movies have same number of fights, but ‘Avengers’ had an upper hand with five Hollywood Hero characters taking centre stage in the movie. One can easily say that kids love to watch Hulk and Iron Man than Jr.NTR!

Magadheera was released on July 31st, 2009. Almost three years passed by and it’s all time record is still untouchable. It has collected over 70 crore rupees in Telugu alone. There is no other film that came close to this figure in these three years. Dookudu collected around 55 crore rupees in full run, but couldn’t beat Magadheera’s record.

Until last year there were attempts to recreate Magadheera (Shakti and Badrinath), but it looks like the heroes and directors have given up the idea of breaking Magadheera’s record. Right now the focus of every big film is on breaking the first week record by releasing the movie in highest possible number of theaters.

Businessman and Racha did 40+ crore rupees business and now Dammu too is aiming for that mark. All these are mass films that have a certain limit and reach. Magadheera had that wow factor that helped it to go those extra miles. Until or unless some star studded film with wonderful content coupled with that wow factor arrives, Magadheera will remain a distant dream.

In one of the recent interviews, hour glass beauty Ileana stated that she has no God father in film industry. She told that her journey to stardom hasn’t been easy at the start. She attributed her success credit to herself and her family. But one has to say that Ileana is lying by saying that she doesn’t have godfathers in film industry.

Tollywood actor Nandamuri Balakrishna announced that he is ready to campaign for the party candidates in upcoming By-polls if the party insists him to do so.The actor was in the Cancer hospital to launch the lamp lighting event of Nursing students.Speaking to the press on this occasion, he refused to comment on the differences between Nara and Nandamuri family aroused as Junior NTR’s close aide Vallabhaneni Vamsi hugged YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Vijayawada.

Balayya had reported lobbied for two seats in Anantapur and Macherla in the upcoming by-polls and is expected to campaign for them.

Here is a good news for all the Prabhas fans. The movie which was under shoot for more than 16 months now, is finally nearing completion. The last schedule of the movie began today in Hyderabad. The movie had recently completed the climax shoot which was shot with 30 Russian fighters for 20 days which costed the producers had to shell out more than 2.5 Crores for this.The makers are planning to complete the movie by the end of May and release the movie in June.

Tamannah and Deekshaseth are playing the female leads. Lawerence, the director of the movie himself is composing the music. J.Bhagwan and J.Pulla Rao are producing the movie under Sri Balaji Cine Media banner.
