Chiranjeevi was a Top star and is always a non controversial through out his career. However, his protege Ram Charan had different ideas. Raging from his controversial comments on Dasari, he was in news for several wrong reasons. Latest is that Charan’s Bollywood debut was marred by media linking him with Bipasha Basu and Later, Ram Charan was invited by Sallu bhai to his farm house for ‘all fun in the night’ party.

However, Chiranjeevi was reportedly very upset with Charan concentrating on wrong things than his career.He also do not want any hiccups when Charan is going to get married in a month.

When the question is asked, there are several answers being said like anti fans, reviewers etc but the real culprit behind the negative talk is the director Boyapati Srinu according to many critics. They feel that Dammu is more of ‘Thulasi’ kinda movie than Simha kind. But Boyapati Srinu projected it as ‘another Simha’. He released the trailer with full of mass elements thereby increasing the expectations like anything. Finally unable to catch up the expectations, the movie is carrying negative talk.

And now Boyapati is trying to make amends by releasing Family related trailers and posters. Lets see if this helps the movie!

Balakrishna’s long awaited movie, Adhinayakudu has hit theatres finally amidst hype and expectations. Here goes the first talk of it.

Balayya is an exception always when it comes to delivering punch dialogues and it is proved once again with ‘Adhinayakudu’ it seems. They say that first half is a high voltage action treat while second half is stricken with emotion and sentiment. Like all those Balayya’s movies, heroines are used to a max once again to fulfil the desires of lusting fans. Lakshmi Rai as a whole and Saloni in a song are shaking the masses with their raw glamour. Action episodes and fighting scenes are as usual at their cinematic best sans liberties to enthral fan base.

However keeping the commercial success of this movie aside, cine lovers are saying that it will surely help Balayya’s political career. Every dialogue of the movie seemed to be a punch for opposition parties in the state. Watch out for our review in that regular column!

The audio release of Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara took place in Hyderabad yesterday. The theatrical trailer screened at the event had increased the curiosity on the movie. Few visuals and dialogues in the movie suggest the movie might have a close resemblance to Anushka’s Arundathi. Even though it might not be the same, the basic plot might be the same blood, gore, aghoras etc

If a couple of producers and directors say this, we can write off it as an exaggeration. What if, the whole of Tollywood’s folks keep chanting the word ‘Pawan’, making ‘Pawanism’ the second religion of Telugu Cinema Industry. ‘It is not because of his stardom, but due to his attitude and abnormal human qualities’, felt a film critic. People like Raviteja and Ram rose to stardom only after imitating Pawan Kalyan in their initial movies. Others like Ganesh, Harish Shankar and Karunakaran got their break only after associating with him and hence they show that extreme courtesy. Top directors like Rajamouli, Sreenu Vytla and Trivikram die to make movies with Pawan, because of his extreme down to earth nature.

Even audiences love Pawan Kalyan from the bottom of their heart and that is the reason for his flop movies to recover the full investment. They say it is difficult to peel out the reasons behind this craze for Pawan, but his positive energy and helping nature are one of the facts that create vibrations in the hearts of his fans. Interestingly, this ‘Pawanism’ has fans of many heroes as its followers.

A look at the recent audio releases and the films releasing makes you clear about one thing, films are made for fans. But experts say that there is a difference between fans and audiences. Here goes the story! 

Filmmakers like Boyapati and Harish Shankar recently gave statements that they are making films keeping the taste of fans in view to match their expectations. Are these directors and their star heroes distancing from audiences with these statements is a big question now. If only Mahesh fans had watched ‘Pokiri’ and ‘Dookudu’, both could not garner huge collections. ‘Businessman’ failed to recreate magic, because the film is intended only for fans. ‘Magadheera’ became a big hit only due to the viewership of all heroes’ fans but not just mega-fans. Irrespective of the mega-craze, ‘Racha’ is able to collect its investment back, but didn’t turn up a trend setter. 

Critics say that directors should change their mindsets to make movies for ‘audience’ but not just for ‘fans’. With their fan-loving movies, industry will get work but it cannot get a page for itself in history. Till date, 2012 has not seen a proper movie that is loved by all sections of audiences. Let us see if any director could come up with a movie that everyone loves to watch!
