Coming in to the detail, NTR’s Dhammu is all set for April 27th release. The makers are planning a huge release worldwide for the movie to ensure maximum collections. And now, all the theaters in Vijayawada except Apsara which is currently playing Ram Charan’s Racha. Things were not different in neighboring Guntur city – 19 of the total 23 theaters in the city will be playing the movie here.

Pawan Kalyan had suffered severe back pain during the shoot of Bangaram and since then his dance movements had slowed up considerably. He put in a big effort in his last movie for his fans in the famous ‘Paparayudu’ song. And now he is doing the same for his latest movie, Gabbar Singh. The song shoot of the movie is going on in Ramoji Film City. Pawan had suffered severe back pain on the sets. However, he is still doing that taking some first aid just for fans and release the movie on time.

The makers of Gabbar Singh are planning to release the movie in the second week of May.

Power star Pawan Kalyan joins the Rs. 10 crore club with Gabbar Singh. Pawan is always among the top paid actors list of Tollywood. However, he has never got as big as this much for any of his previous films. Pawan Kalyan hasn’t taken remuneration for this film. He took fifty percent partnership instead.

Gabbar Singh was initially started on Pawan Kalyan’s own banner. But later Ganesh Bandla took over as Pawan asked him to! However, Pawan kept the fifty percent stake in the film and as per industry sources the film fetched more than 32 crore rupees from theatrical distribution rights. Other rights took the overall tally to Rs. 38 crore plus.

Gabbar Singh is made on a budget of Rs. 15 to 18 crores as Pawan Kalyan didn’t take remuneration for the film. Which means the net profit itself stands over 20 crore rupees. As per the fifty percent agreement Pawan gets a minimum of Rs. 10 crore on Gabbar Singh. If the film turns a blockbuster and does excellent theatrical business, he will get a good share of the profits too.

Chiru has realized that it is more comfortable in acting in films rather than being in politics.He told the media in Tirupati on Sunday that it is easy to communicate with the people through films than by undertaking “yatras” and conducting road shows for months and years together.

“Cinema is a powerful medium than politics. We can take our message among the cadres through films more easily,” he said.

Apparently, the Congress high command has told Chiranjeevi not to indulge in politics too much, but to be happy with the Rajya Sabha seat and focus his attention on acting on message-oriented films.

“AICC observer Vayalar Ravi told me to act in message oriented films. He suggested that I should use the cinema media effectively to come closer to the people. If the story and script is ready, I will definitely make a re-entry in films with 150th film,” he said.

Ee Rojullo director Maruti was the happiest man on the earth till the last week. His debut movie ‘Ee Rojullo’ made on a negligible budget and went on to become a huge success. The movie was one of the most successful movies in Telugu this year in terms of returns. Adding icing to the cake, Bellamkonda Suresh roped him in a new project with Nithin as main lead.

However, Nithin who tasted success after a long long time with Ishq rejected the script narrated by Maruti. Instead okayed a movie by Siva of Friendship movie fame. Maruti is now dejected but not down. He is now working on a fresh concept.

There is a significant difference between the taste of the Telugu audience and the Tamil audience. Be it films, heroes or storylines, the difference is quite varied. However, they seem to be on the same track when it comes to showing admiration towards the heroines.

Looking at which film has got better scope ‘Panjaa’ became an utter flop. Pawan Kalyan is not having hits since a long time. For any hero the result of his last movie plays a vital role. So, if ‘Gabbar Singh’ gets even average talk it will become a bumper hit.

As for NTR, his last film ‘Oosaravelli’ turned out to be an average to above average flick. So, unless ‘Dammu’ is extraordinary it wont work big collections at the box office. That way, ‘Gabbar Singh’ has better advantage. In terms of star quotient, Pawan has got stronger impact than NTR. Incidentally, few of NTR fans are Pawan fans also but not vice-versa.

But in terms of audio and their impact, both the films are on par. The final result will be out once both films hit the screens.

Finding her as a lucky charm, Ram Charan is heard pushing her name for his Hindi debut ‘Zanjeer’, which is not accepted by his director Apoorva Lakhia. However, a source from Mega family condemned this news as a baseless rumor against Ram Charan. ‘They haven’t proposed her name even for Yevadu and Vinayak movie, how come they push her to Hindi movie?’, the source intensified his voice.

‘Off course, Charan also encourages talent like Chiru, but that doesn’t mean that he will run behind a particular heroine to hit bulls’ eye. This family believes in script and fans, not in sentiments and glamour’, he stressed. Though the statements looked exaggerated, industry people are saying that there is truth in them.
