Ram Charan has registered yet another big hit with Racha, which is poised to enter the top 3 list of all times hits of Telugu cinema. Charan already holds the number 1 film record and with Racha he proved that he can be a super power at the box office without any help of any well known director. Charan’s talent was spotted by Bollywood director Apoorva Lakhia and he is introducing him to B town with the film Zanjeer.
This is a remake of Amitabh’s yesteryear’s hit Zanjeer that earned him the angry young man image. Apoorva had a choice of approaching Abhishek Bachan to play the lead role in it. The director is a very good friend of Abhishek and he would have been a good choice to remake an Amitabh’s film. But Apoorva felt that only Ram Charan could be the new angry young man of Bollywood. The director and producer are taking a huge risk by roping in Charan, because he is a new face in Bollywood and it would have been easy for them to do good business if they do this film with any known Hindi actor.
But the director says that he couldn’t visualize anyone other than Charan in this role. This is an honor to a Telugu actor. Even Chiranjeevi didn’t command such respect from the Bollywood industry. Today Charan is getting a whopping price for doing this role. When a Bollywood superstar’s son couldn’t fit into his father’s shoes, a Tollywood megastar’s son filling those shoes is something that is extraordinary. Great going Cherry!

Amidst the big heroes of the Tollywood circuit, it has been hard to find a proper golden pair in the last decade or so. Prior to that, it was Chiranjeevi with Radha and Nandamuri Balakrishna with Vijayasanthi. But now, it appears that Balayya seems to have found another perfect partner.
She is the gracious beauty Nayanthara. Apparently, Balayya paired with Nayan and scored a big hit in the form of ‘Simha’. Their onscreen chemistry continued with the magnum opus ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’. Now, it is heard that Balayya is eyeing Nayan once again and this is for a new project.
Sources say Balayya is looking at Nayan to be the leading lady for his ambitious venture, the remake of ‘Narthanasala’. This would mean that Nayan will essay the role of Draupadi. Buzz is that Balayya has already made preparations to revamp the project so let us see if Nayan says yes or no.

Sensational director Puri Jagannath is all set to direct Young Tiger NTR in a new film which will start rolling from September 18, 2012. Latest news is that Puri is considering the title ‘Ramu’ for the movie. Legend NTR and Balakrishna earlier have done movies under the same title.
NTR’s Dhammu is being readied for April 27th and hee will move on to ‘Badshah’ shooting shortly.Kajal Agarwal is the female lead. NTR- Puri film will be mostly shot in America. The other star cast of the movie is yet to be announced. Puri is currently busy filming Devudu Chesina Manushulu with Ravi Teja and will complete Cameraman Gangatho Ram Babu with Pawan Kalyan before starting NTR movie.

After the grand success of Gabbar Singh audio release, the unit of Gabbar Singh is leaving no stone unturned to promote the movie well among the common audience. The movie unit is planning to auction the accessories of used by Pawan Kalyan in the movie. Goggles, Pawan’s Name Plate, and the gun (permanently unlocked) are some among the accessories. Meanwhile, the item song, Kevvu Keka is being shot on Pawan Kalyan and Malaika Arora in Hyderabad.
Gabbar Singh has Shruti Haasan in the lead role opposite Pawan Kalyan. Harish Shankar is the director of this movie and Ganesh Babu is producing the movie under Parameswara Arts banner. Music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

Adhinayakudu postponed once again !

Much to the disappointment of fans and irritation of common audience, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Adhinayakudu movie release is postponed once again. Our sources tells us that the movie is now no longer going to release in this month. The makers are now banking on a May 4th release which is also uncertain. The producer of the movie is several financial troubles which have became a hindrance to the movie release.
Balayya is playing three variety characters in the movie. Jaya Sudha, Saloni, Lakshmi Rai are playing the female leads. The movie is directed by Paruchuri Murali and produced by ML Kumar Chowdary under Sri Keerthi Combines banner. Kalyan Malik is the music director.

Young Tiger NTR and Boyapati Srinu’s Mass Masala Entertainer Dhammu is going to be censored on 19th of this month. Currently, the DI work of the movie is going on. The movie is in the last stages of post production. The first copy should be ready in a day or two. The movie is all set to release worldwide on April 27th. A massive release is being planned for the movie.
Trisha and Kartheeka will be seen as the love interests of NTR in this film and Boyapati Sreenu is the director. Alexander Vallabha is the producer of this movie and K.S.Rama Rao is presenting the movie on Creative Commercials Banner. MM Keeravani is rendering music.

Mahesh Babu had recently went on a family holiday to Singapore and is back few days ago. He had shot for a new commercial for Thums Up till yesterday and had flown to Ahmedabad to join Seethamma Vaakita Sirimalle Chettu team. A song is being shot on Mahesh and Samantha in exotic locales here. This schedule will go on till 20th of this month. And Mahesh will move on to Sukumar movie shooting from 23rd of this month.
‘Journey’ fame Anjali will be pairing up with Venky in this movie. Victory Venkatesh and Prince Mahesh babu will be seen as brothers. Prakash Raj will be playing the role of their father. Most of his recent movies have no presence of his legendary brother Megastar Chiru giving room to Pawan to take centrestage. This time, Chiru made all rumors blow up with his emotional, energetic and eccentric potshots at person trying to defame Mega family. Coming to the point, Pawan spoke volumes at ‘Puli’, ‘Teenmaar’ and ‘Panjaa’ audio functions. We know the fate of those movies. He has spoken a minute at ‘Jalsa’ audio function previously and this has now become a sentiment. If Pawan speaks less, his film will speak more and vice-versa.
However, Mega fans are not agreeing as they feel that a flop-movie from this hero will collect more than a hit film others. On an average, it is noticed that the directors in film industry tend to have one or the other crazy streak in them. While some are spontaneous, others are silent, few others are on their toes and then there are those who are absolutely short tempered. And Tollywood has one director known for his short fuse.
He is none other than the dynamic director Teja. Though he has been off the hook from the past four years, he now arrived with the film ‘Neeku Naaku Dash Dash’. The talk in filmnagar has been about Teja and his eye for heroines. Right from his debut flick, Teja has been responsible for giving some really sexy starlets.
Notable among them are Reema Sen, Sada, Rakshita and the latest find in his kitty is Nandita. Many say that the common factor between these heroines is all of them have a domestic sex appeal which gives an extra kick. They are not glamorous but possess a natural oomph which is hard to resist. Ram Charan upset with rumors !

Ram Charan is quite upset with the rumors that Zanjeer’s female lead Priyanka Chopra is getting paid more pay package than him. “Priyanka is being paid ‘on par’ or ‘more than’ Charan” is the talk in media circles.
However, the unit sources have confirmed that these reports were speculative. In fact, the makers had already paid a whopping Rs 10 crore to Charan and the young actor would be pocketing another Rs 2 crore after wrapping up the entire shoot. Overall, Charan’s pay pack is Rs 12 crore (excluding other expenses). When it comes to Priyanka, she is not even getting half of what Charan is being paid. Her pay pack is just Rs 5.5 crore and another Rs 50 lakhs was allotted to her (for Travelling Expenses, Five Star Hotels accomodation and Food).
Charan clearly holds the upper hand over the film’s leading lady in this 70-crore Hind-Telugu bi-lingual. Now, the actor has directed his manager to send this message to the public using the same ‘media’. After Gabbar Singh, Pawan will be doing Puri Jagan’s ‘Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu’. However, Rajamouli gets busy with Prabhas’ movie and will not be available for almost 2 years. As Pawan Kalyan stopped experimenting with Tamil directors and started working with top brass Telugu directors in back to back films, Srinu Vaitla has fair chances to direct Powerstar soon. Charan facing biggest challenge of his career

Ram Charan feels stepping into Amitabh Bachchan’s shoes with the remake of iconic film Zanjeer is the biggest challenge of his life. “Till now, dealing with being Megastar Chiru’s son has been a challenge. But that’s nothing when compared with what I’m facing at present,” said Charan, when asked how he feels to play the role portrayed by India’s biggest star nearly four decades ago.
The young actor is not bothered about the comparisons being drawn between him and Big B. “All through my career, I have gone through constant comparisons. If I think about how I’ll be compared with my father or Amit Ji, I wouldn’t be able to get into the skin of the character. I just did the things that I’m good at and what came naturally to me,” he told.
The Magadheera star says language doesn’t matter much and clarified that he sees debuting into Bollywood as just like an extension of what he is already doing.

Raviteja’s Daruvu turns Baruvu for producers!

Raviteja was considered as one of the safe bet heroes in Telugu cinema until a year ago. But a series of flop movies raised enough doubts on him to the buyers. Raviteja’s downfall started with Dongala Mutha, a film that Raviteja should’ve never done. Later it was followed up by Veera which was a bigger debacle in terms of financial returns.
Earlier this year Raviteja tasted the flop of his career with Nippu. With this movie, Raviteja lost the trust of audience as well as business circles. Previously Raviteja used to be the savior for films with average content. With growing age and declining energy levels, he is not the same Raviteja now. Being monotonous is showing ominous signs already.
His upcoming film Daruvu has no takers in few key regions. A year ago his films used to sell like hot cakes. But times have changed now and how fast! Daruvu is turning out to be Baruvu for its producers as buyers are not showing any interest in this film with so many biggies in the fray. They will have to wait for the right time or should release the film on their own if they want to take advantage of summer holidays. That should be risky unless Daruvu is a minimum guarantee mass film.

Gabbar Singh producer Ganesh Babu was all excited on the stage of Gabbar Singh audio launch. He went overboard in expressing his gratitude towards Pawan Kalyan. He said that he would be with Pawan forever if the star permits him to.
Citing an example, he said his son once asked what is honesty, Ganesh said he just showed him the photo of Pawan Kalyan. He made several comments like ‘Pawan is the portrait of honesty’, ‘Pawan at times looks like Bhagath Singh at times like Lord Shiva who opened his 3rd eye’. Pawan Kalyan was visibly embarrassed as Ganesh is uncontrollably going overboard. The actor was seen continuously laughing when Ganesh was speaking.

Pawan Kalyan’s Apacharam in Simhachalam temple?

According to the plan, after having a Darshan of Lord Balaji, Pawan Kalyan flew to Simhachalam to have a Darshan of Lord Appanna. Hundreds of fans flocked there to have a glimpse of their favorite which resulted in a stampede. The local police and private security deployed there could not control the mob which forced the actor and his crew to fly from the scene.
According to some eyewitness, Pawan rushed inside the temple with his shoes on in order to escape the mob. Temple executive officer Ch Narasinga Rao said that the matter had come to their notice but added that they were unable to confirm whether the actor had indeed entered the temple wearing shoes.

Mega fans were elated to see Megastar and Powerstar on one stage. Nagababu and Allu Arjun also attended this event. Only Ram Charan was missing as he is in Mumbai, busy with Zanjeer shoot.

Chiranjeevi’s presence at Gabbar Singh ended the speculation of split in mega family. Megastar’s speech was one of the major highlights in this function. He was visibly angry on media for writing and reporting that he and Charan lied about Pawan Kalyan’s foreign trip during Racha audio launch.

“We never stoop to such level. Our mega family has certain values and we will never break those. Media should stop speculating and start reporting the facts. Pawan was not in India on the day of Racha audio launch. There are proofs to show that Pawan was abroad on that day. I request media to stop writing such bad things about mega family. Charan couldn’t make it to this audio launch as he is in Mumbai. So please don’t write that he is in Hyderabad and deliberately missed this event,” said Chiranjeevi in a furious tone.

Chiru wished Gabbar Singh to be two times bigger hit than Racha. He said that Pawan Kalyan is a man who stays on his word and is a very honest person. Producer Bandla Ganesh Babu defined Pawan Kalyan as a man of honesty and Chiranjeevi totally agreed with him.
