Who is the biggest star in Andhra Pradesh now? Most of your answers will be Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Jr. NTR and few others, isn’t it? But there is another invisible force that is as big as all these stars, if not bigger. He is none other than south Indian Super star Rajanikanth. He has once again proved that his star power is beyond boundaries.
Rajinikanth’s latest film Kochadaiyaan is also being made in Telugu along with Tamil and Hindi versions. This movie’s theatrical distribution rights have been bagged by Lakshmi Ganapathi films for a record price. They have made a deal for a whopping 30 crore rupees and that too only for Andhra Pradesh. This is the biggest individual deal for any Telugu movie till date. There were few Telugu biggies that made over 30 crores business when all the territories put together.
But this is the biggest outright deal that was ever done. Robo was lapped up for 27 crore rupees deal and Superstar bettered it by a mile with Kochadaiyaan. And that too without Shankar factor. What’s amazing about Kochadaiyan is it is not even a regular commercial film. It is India’s first performance capture photorealistic film. In other words it is an animation movie in which Rajinikanth is not seen on the screen. Getting such a huge price for a film without his ‘real’ presence is something out of the world. Take a bow Thalaiva!

Rajamouli Eega Audio Promo attracts eye balls

Rajamouli is one director who knows the pulse of audience better than any others in the current generation. He had uploaded a audio teaser announcing the audio release schedule and venue details in the form of a song. The teaser which is first of its kind was found to be interesting and is up to the stature of Rajamouli. Rajamouli himself tweeted the teaser link and attributed the idea of the teaser to his brother, Music director MM Keeravani.
Eega is said to be the next level of technology and innovation in Telugu cinema and is one of the most awaited movies of the season in Telugu. The audio release will take place on March 30th at Brahma Kumar’s academy in Gachchibowli.

Ram Charan back in action from injury!

Our readers are aware that Mega Power Star Ram Charan is injured while dancing for a racy number and is advised 3-4 weeks rest. Charan’s recuperated well from the injury and is back again on the dance floor. The song shoot began on Sunday at Annapurna studios and will go on till Wednesday. After this song shoot, the movie shoot will be completed except for one song. The makers are planning to release the movie on 5th of April.
Tamannah is playing the love interest of Charan in the movie. ‘Yemaindhi Eevela’ fame Sampath Nandi is directing the movie while RB Chowdary, NV Prasad, Paras Jain are producing the movie under Mega Super Good films banner. Mani Sharma had composed the music.

Gemeni TV bags Naa Ishtam satellite rights

With Naa Ishtam faring average at the box office, the satellite rights revenue is much of a respite to the producers. Gemeni Television had bagged the satellite rights of the movie for a whopping 3.2Crores which is a very huge amount for a small budget movie. Rana’s image among youth had propelled the TV to invest so much of money in to the deal.
Naa Ishtam has Genelia in the female lead. Creative director Sukumar’s associate Prakash Tholeti directed the movie. Chakri had scored the music.

‘Ee Rojullo’ director Maruti bags his second

With Ee Rojullo making a good mark on audience, Director Maruthi is now a well recognized man in Tollywood. He will directing Nithin in his next movie. The movie will be produced by senior Producer Bellamkonda Suresh under his Sai Ganesh Productions banner. Multi Dimensions Entertainment banner will be presenting it.
Nithin is recharged with his first hit in the form of Ishq after 14 straight flops.
Meanwhile, Eerojullo is doing well on Monday to with all the centers in Metros going house full. Mega Star Chiranjeevi said to have congratulated Maruti over the phone while Pawan Kalyan wished the team before the release. Mahila Mandals ‘head aches’ for Rachcha

The remix of Vaana Velluvaaye song had created super hype to Ram Charan’s Racha movie. The song, Ram Charan dances, and Tamannah oomph had driven the masses crazy and is a crowd pulling factor for fans. But all is not well. A women welfare organization by name ‘Jathiya Arundhati Mahila Shakti’ (JAMS) has filed a complaint with the Banjara Hills police station against the song in the movie. They claim that they are hurt as some of the obscene visuals are shot with Buddha statue in the back ground.
K.Arundathi, the president of the organization had launched the complaint officially and have also met the Home Minister and voiced their objections.

Sachin says ‘Naa Retirement! Naa Ishtam’ !

Indian cricket legend once again stressed that no one should tell him when to retire. Sachin Tendulkar revealed this when he interacted with the media to share thoughts about cricket, 100th ton and future.

‘Presenty, I’m still having strength to give some extraordinary knock for the sake of country. I’ll consider retirement when I lose interest in the game’, Sachin said. He dismissed the advises of many seniors and came sharply on them that persons who hadn’t even knocked a single century in cricket are advising him, but he is fine with them as long as he can tolerate. Reacting on his 100th ton, Sachin said that he looked at bat and asked God that why did it take such a long time to come. However, little-master added that there were no celebrations for his 100th ton, as India lose that match to Bangladesh in which he got the feat.

Sachin also express his wish by resting it in god’s hands and people’s prayers about playing for India in 2015 world cup. Talking about the poor form of team he stated that the solutions cannot be described in 3-4 sentences. ‘We became number one team by following many strategies, and now that we are lagging behind, we need to rework on them’, Sachin concluded.

This is on the song ‘Vaana Vaana Velluvaaye…’ and the evaluation is between Vijayashanti for ‘Gang Leader’ vs Tamannah for ‘Rachcha’. Those who have seen the song are comparing Tammu with Ramulamma and state that Tamannah has swayed her hips big time and it looks like overdone.

That over shaking doesn’t give the ‘turn on’ factor is the comment. Already, there is a talk that the remix song got spoiled with bad voices of singers. That way, Tammu is standing nowhere in comparison with the eroticism generated by Vijayashanti. Many say sensuousness should be there when rain songs or romantic songs are shot. Congress Rajya Sabha member Chiranjeevi made it clear that he never lobbied for union cabinet berth and it’s up to high command to decide his future.The erstwhile PRP Chief said that he is hopeful that Congress will surely win in Tirupati by-poll and also opined that his party has better prospects in the upcoming by-elections in 17 constituencies.
Responding to the media question – by-poll results suggest Congress is losing it’s hold in Telangana, Chiru replied,”It’s just because of the sentiment in the region, we lost the by-elections. But, we are confident that the party will bounce back in the upcoming by-polls”.Chiru also came in support of chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, who was severely criticized by the seniors after by-poll debacle, saying it’s not good to underestimate his capabilities.

The younger generation heroes from Akkineni and Daggubati families have been failing to impress Telugu audience. Rana Daggubati’s latest film Naa Ishtam turned out to be a failure at box office and it is a big letdown when it comes to Rana’s acting skills. Rana proved that he cannot carry a commercial film on his shoulders. If this is made by other heroes could have been proved a average grocer.
Unless he comes up with an extra ordinary show in his future ventures, Rana Daggubati cannot win the faith of audience. Young Akkineni hero Naga Chaitanya is better than Rana in few aspects, but he too needs to sharpen his skills to be considered as an actor to watch out for. He is at home while portraying roles of boy next door in the films YMC and 100% Love.
Naga Chaitanya failed to impress when he did larger than life roles in Bezawada and Dhada. He is yet to prove as a commercial mass hero and with what we watched of him till now it would be a daunting task for the youngster to impress as a mass hero. Maybe these heroes should first concentrate upon banking on their skills and attempt mass films after few years.

Ram Charan – Vinayak movie first schedule was complete recently. The second schedule was supposed to begin in March first week in which the scenes not involving Charan are to be shot. But things did not go in that way. Vinayak is reportedly suffering from a back ache due to his heavy weight and is reportedly away from the sets for that reasons. Vinayak is too much of an alcoholist which is creating him severe health problems.

Being a small-film releasing in a limited number of theatres, none expects a ‘housefull’ board at the theatres of ‘Ee Rojullo’. Stunning content of the movie once again proved that people love movies irrespective of commercial elements. Made under a shoestring budget of 75 lakhs, by newcomer Maruthi, the film received a huge applause from first day first show itself. Instant hitting dialogues of this film which were released as teasers, made youths run to theatres. Crazy acts and sensitive side of present generation youth are touched with amazing screenplay in ‘Ee Rojullo, to make it worth watching.
Trade-pundits are saying that the movie will get back its money in a couple of days and makes a minimum of 5 crores profit in AP. Distributors are already receiving demands to increase number of prints.

‘Dookudu’ producer’s ‘Action’ dhamaka

Anil Sunkara, the producer of ‘Dookudu’ is all set to make his debut as a director and this is happening through a film titled ‘Action’.
Recently the launch happened in Chennai and this had former CM Rosiah as the chief guest along with the noted Tamil star Simbu. Even the film has a mix of Telugu and Tamil folks as Allari Naresh, Raju Sundaram, Vaibha, Kick Shaam are the heroes.
Sneha Ullal, Vimala Raman, Kamna Jethmalani are the leading ladies. Above all, it is heard that this would be made as a bilingual and that too in a 3D format. Sources say the budget for this is Rs 15 crores. Many are raising eyebrows over Anil Sunkara’s abilities to handle this project as a director. Only time will answer the question.
