Keerthy Suresh, a celebrated South Indian actress, recently made history as she was appointed the goodwill ambassador for women’s cricket in Kerala. This significant move by the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) marks the first time they’ve chosen a brand ambassador for their women’s team. The announcement took place in Thiruvananthapuram, where Suresh took center stage, launching online ticket sales for the upcoming India vs. Australia T20I match scheduled for November 26th.

During the event, Keerthy Suresh not only inaugurated the ticket sale but also took the opportunity to honor Minnu Mani, the sole Kerala player in the national team present at the function. In her address, Suresh lauded their achievements, highlighting their qualification for the Elite & Super league phase across various age categories in domestic tournaments. She specifically commended the under-23 girls for clinching the national T-20 championships in 2017-18.

Suresh’s presence at the event was notable, adorned in a white jersey with a casual makeup look, radiating with beautiful smiles. Her choice of makeup and attire exuded simplicity and elegance, reflecting her support for the cause she was endorsing. “Dunki” marks a promising collaboration between Bollywood’s superstar Shah Rukh Khan and acclaimed director Rajkumar Hirani. This emotional entertainer is generating considerable buzz prior to its release, being touted as a potential jackpot for both Khan and Hirani.

Hirani is known for his ability to craft compelling stories rich in natural emotions and entertainment value, often working with modest budgets. “Dunki” follows suit, reportedly made on a 100Cr budget, excluding the remunerations for Hirani and Khan.

Despite the relatively modest budget, the film’s non-theatrical business has already closed around 250Cr, covering the production expenses and leaving a surplus of around 150Cr. With the release date recently confirmed, the anticipation for this film is escalating.

If Hirani delivers a solid storyline as he has done in his previous films, “Dunki” could potentially propel Shah Rukh Khan back into the 1000Cr Club. The film’s theatrical earnings could surpass 400Cr, and overall, it has the potential to rake in a share in the 600Cr range for all involved parties, considering that 100Cr covers the budget, with the remainder distributed to Khan, Hirani, and other stakeholders as producers.

“Dunki” is poised to be a commercially successful venture, combining Hirani’s storytelling prowess with Khan’s star power, and is anticipated to make a significant impact both critically and financially upon its release.

‘Kota Bommali PS’ is one film which is been making a lot of noise in recent times. It is expected to be a riveting political thriller. Srikanth Meka is playing the lead role while Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is doing a key role too. Rahul Vijay and Shivani Rajasekhar are also playing the main characters in this movie. The promotional content created a positive vibe on the movie and the political touch added an extra bit of spice as well. With the Telangana elections looming large, this movie is garnering a lot of attention.

Senior hero Srikanth who plays the lead role recently interacted with the media and he revealed some interesting snippets regarding the movie. He said, “This is a different concept. Usually, policemen chase only criminals. But in this film, the police chase other policemen. The main concept revolves around how politicians use the police. As a result, the police system faces problems. The film clearly shows how caste and religion are abused by politicians for vote banks. That said, this is not a political satire.”

Talking about his character, “Constable Ramakrishna is my name in the film. I learned the Srikakulam slang for the role. The story revolves between the three characters played by Rahul Vijay, Shivani and myself. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is our boss and she tries to arrest us. I have played a role that has a lot of scope for performance. My body language mimics that of real policemen. The films that I have done earlier had commercial elements such as songs and fights. It also has a good family drama.”

He added, “Director Teja Marni has dealt with the subject so well. I was thrilled when he narrated the story. The story takes place in the backdrop of Srikakulam. The story and screenplay are very exciting. The movie never lets you get bored. What happens in the house of a middle class constable is what ‘Kota Bommali PS’ tries to show. Although this is a remake of the Malayalam super hit film ‘Nayattu’, many changes have been made to suit the Telugu nativity. This is the most out-and-out full-length character I have done in recent times.”

Srikanth revealed, “We all have confidence that the film will also be successful. I used to tell Rahul and Shivani that sincerity is important for any artist. Rahul is a very down to earth person. Seeing him is like seeing myself in my beginning days. Our Telugu girl Shivani also has good characters. Murali Sharma’s role as a politician will be crucial. Along with the character, the dialogues and emotions are all very natural. I am also waiting for this movie. Producers Bunny Vasu and Vidya have made the film with a clear vision.”

Talking about his next projects, Srikanth claimed that he is doing a key role in ‘Game Changer’ where Charan is the lead while he is also a part of NTR’s ‘Devara’. He is playing a supporting role in a movie with Mohanlal as well as being a part of his son Roshan’s flick.
