Vijayashanthi Shares Beautiful Moments With NTR And Kalyan Ram!
If you are a 90’s kid then there is no introduction for veteran actress Vijayashanthi. She was dubbed as Lady Superstar and Lady Amitabh Bachchan for the kind of strong characters she portrayed. After a dream run she took a break from acting for politics.
Vijayashanthi was roped in to play a crucial role in Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s new project which is tentatively titled NKR21. She graced the Pooja ceremony along with Kalyan Ram and others.
Kalyan Ram warmly greeted her at the occasion. Now Vijayashanthi kept everyone talking with her latest post on social media involving Senior NTR and Kalyan Ram. She shared a photo collage from different occasions.
While one photo shows the senior actress with the legendary actor NTR, the other pictures are from the NKR 21 Pooja ceremony. Sharing the fond memories, the actress said that the respect she received from Kalyan Ram reminded her of Senior NTR.
Lady Superstar Shows Her Versatility With ‘Annapoorani’!
Not a lot of actresses tend to challenge themselves as most of them have short careers and fade away quite quickly. But lady superstar Nayanthara is different from the rest as she defied all odds. The star actress is successfully continuing her journey on top for the last two decades. Over the past few years, she reached a league of her own and is picking up scripts that satisfy the artist in her as well as big scale projects.
She is showing her versatility once again as the actress kickstarts her 75th film ‘Annapoorani’. Looking at the glimpse, people are surprised to see Nayan in this kind of role as she played a kickass stylish cop role in ‘Jawan’ just a month ago. She became a traditional Brahmin girl for ‘Annapoorani – Goddess Of Food’. While the whole family is praying to god and following all the traditional customs, Nayan aka Annapoorani is sitting in her room studying a book about Business Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
But she is really looking at non-vegetarian dishes and is taking notes about them. She is completely engrossed in it but manages to hide it from her orthodox family. The teaser gives us an idea on how the movie’s characters are going to be and Nayanthara’s fans can’t wait to watch this film.
Produced by Zee Studios, Trident Arts and Naad Studios, ‘Annapoorani’ is being directed by Nilesh Krishna while Thaman is composing the music. Sathyan Sooryan is the director of photography. Praveen Anthony is the editor while Durairaj is the art director. Apart from Nayanthara, the film’s cast includes Jai, Sathyaraj, Achyuth Kumar, KS Ravikumar, Redin Kingsly, Achyuth Kumar, Kumari Sachu, Renuka, Karthik Kumar and Suresh Chakkaravarthy. The release date is yet to be announced.
Hi Nanna: Nani super confident about the film’s success
Following the success of Dasara, Nani is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, “Hi Nanna,” a heartwarming family-oriented romantic drama directed by debutant Shouruv. With the film scheduled for release on December 7 this year, the anticipation is palpable, largely owing to the popularity of its hit songs and captivating promotional material.
Nani, having watched the final edit of the film, is brimming with confidence about “Hi Nanna.” His recent tweet exudes this confidence, when he states, “On this auspicious day, just watched the locked edit. I have seen my cards. I am going all in. Craving for a beautiful love story? Then see you on Dec 7th.” This tweet conveys his strong belief in the film’s potential.
Following his acclaimed performance in “Jersey,” Nani takes on the role of a father once again in this romantic drama, with Mrunal Thakur as the female lead. “Hi Nanna” features music by Hesham Abdul Wahab, and Vyra Entertainments has produced the film on a grand scale. History has shown that when Nani expresses his confidence in a project, it often translates into resounding success. Based on the current outlook, it appears that Nani is poised to add another feather to his cap with “Hi Nanna.”
Rahul Ravindran To Share Screen With Mahesh Again!
Actor turned director Rahul Ravindran shared the screen with superstar Mahesh Babu in ‘Srimanthudu’. The movie was a super hit and Rahul was seen as Mahesh’s cousin who wants to run the company despite everyone favoring Mahesh. After 8 years, he is reportedly playing a key character in Mahesh’s upcoming film ‘Guntur Karam’. After becoming a director, Rahul Ravindran became very picking in terms of acting in other movies. He is currently directing a movie with Rashmika as the lead.
Trivikram Srinivas is known for bringing a lot of noted artists into his films. We have seen in ‘Julayi’, ‘S/o Satyamurthy’, ‘Attarintiki Daredi’, ‘Agnyathavaasi’, ‘A Aa’ and ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ as well. In ‘Guntur Karam’ too, veteran actors Jayaram, Prakash Raj and Jagapathi Babu are playing important characters along with Ajay, Vennela Kishore and others. Apparently, Trivikram brought Rahul Ravindran onboard to play a vital character that stays by the side of Prakash Raj most of the time.
We need to wait and see what kind of role Rahul plays in this action entertainer. Sreeleela and Meenakshi are the heroines in this film while Thaman is the music composer. The first song will be coming out soon as per the makers and the film will be hitting the screens on 12th January 2024. After this, Mahesh will join hands with SS Rajamouli for a globetrotting adventure drama.
One Hit & One Failure For Sreeleela! What About The Next Three?
Sreeleela is the name that is echoing all over Tollywood right now. She made her debut with an outdated film like ‘Pelli SandaD’. Despite being a failure, the film showcased her talent and it got her ‘Dhamaka’ which turned out to be a super hit. She became the most happening heroine in Tollywood within a short time and signed a lot of projects. Sreeleela had five releases lined up for five big festive seasons.
On Ganesh Chaturthi, she came with ‘Skanda’ which disappointed the audience. Her Dasara release was ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’ which is running in theatres successfully. She played the role of Balakrishna’s daughter and people are praising her performance. The movie is also doing well at the box office. With one hit and one failure, the actress is now eyeing to score hits during the next three festive seasons.
Her ‘Adikesava’ with Vaisshnav Tej is going to be released on Diwali. The promos are quite encouraging and the actress is looking quite glamorous in the film. Nithiin’s ‘Extra Ordinary Man’ is releasing in December which is the month of Christmas. The ‘Danger Pilla’ song was a hit and the teaser will be coming out on 30th October. It is expected to give more details regarding this movie directed by Vakkantham Vamsi. We need to see how it turns out.
On Sankranti, she is arriving with ‘Guntur Karam’. She will be romancing superstar Mahesh Babu in it and it is the biggest movie in her career till date. Though she is going to share the screen space with another young beauty like Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sreeleela is expected to be the main heroine. The movie will be released on 12th January and there is massive hype due to the superstar’s craze. With two hits and two failures till now, we need to see how the next three releases turn out.
Rana To Lock Horns With Chiru In #Mega156?
Young director Vassishta surprised everyone with his debut directorial ‘Bimbisara’. This socio-fantasy project starring Kalyan Ram in the lead turned out to be a very good hit and Vassishta got the chance to direct Megastar Chiranjeevi in his second film. Produced under UV Creations banner, the project has already been launched and the pooja ceremony is done as well.
There is a powerful villain role in this film and insiders reveal that Rana Daggubati is being considered for this role. The talented hero is not new to playing negative roles. He played the iconic Bhallaladeva in India’s biggest blockbuster ‘Baahubali’ and he was the villain in ‘Bheemla Nayak’ as well. He is playing a key role in Rajnikanth’s next project with Lokesh Kanagaraj as well.
Having Rana onboard for #Mega156 is going to be a huge plus and sources say that the ‘Leader’ hero has agreed to it as well. The team is considering either Nayanthara or Anushka for the heroine role as per sources. We did not see Chiranjeevi in a fantasy film after ‘Anji’ and it is still raved about even today.
The makers are often mentioning the word ‘Beyond The Universe’ in the posters and we need to see what Vassishta will be making with Megastar. Keeravani is the music composer of this film while a lot of top-class technicians will be working on it.
