Supriya Backs ‘Chai Bisket’ Sharath At Press Meet!
Over the past few days, there has been a lot of talk regarding Sharath, who is the main producer of ‘Chai Bisket’ banner. Apparently, the news about him threatening a reviewer for rating his film badly has grabbed a lot of attention. Sharath deactivated his Twitter account to avoid further interaction with the public.
But he turned up for a press meet of their latest release ‘Boys Hostel’. The media asked about that incident as expected and the answer came out from a different person. It is Supriya Yarlagadda who took the microphone and decided to explain everything.
She said, “I’ll answer this for him. You see, films and media are interconnected. You(media) are the medium between us and the audience. Even when we make good film, media is the one that takes them to the audience. There’s no threatening here.
There are times when even you threaten us.” This strong reply from the actress turned producer has silenced all the rumours as of now and we hope such incidents don’t occur in the coming days.

“Salaar” Distribution Rights Go Big, Dil Raju’s Significant Investment
Prasanth Neel’s much-anticipated film, “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire,” featuring Prabhas, has generated immense excitement among fans. The movie’s trailer is eagerly awaited, and in the meantime, prominent South Indian producer and distributor Dil Raju has reportedly acquired the distribution rights for Nizam and Uttarandhra regions.
Dil Raju, renowned for his contributions to Telugu cinema through his production company Sri Venkateswara Creations, is said to have secured the rights for around Rs 80 crore. The deal is said to involve a non-refundable advance of Rs 65 crore and a refundable advance of Rs 15 crore.
The filmmakers are hopeful that the theatrical rights for the Telugu version of the movie will fetch them around Rs 200 crore. Following the success of movies like “RRR,” the “Baahubali” series, and the “KGF” franchise overseas, Indian films are now commanding higher rates for international distribution rights.
In the US, “Salaar” has already begun its advance booking, with an impressive 8,600 tickets sold within two days. The film is set to be screened across 222 locations in the US, totaling 643 shows.
