Did Vijajasai Reddy Took A Dig At Chiranjeevi?
The comments that came from Megastar Chiranjeevi at the Waltair Veerayya event not only increased the political heat but also made him the target of the ruling YSRCP leaders. A few leaders including the ministers and MPs countered the comments made by the senior hero and gave strong counters to Chiranjeevi.
Now it appears that YSRCP senior Rajya Sabha member Vijaysai Reddy joined the row recently. In a series of tweets, the Rajya Sabha members made some crucial comments and many wonder if he indirectly took a dig at Chiranjeevi.
Recently, Chiranjeevi expressed his dissatisfaction with the government showing interest in industry issues and also asked why the issue was even raised in the Rajya Sabha. As the comments came days after Vijayasai Reddy raised the topic in the house, many felt that Chiranjeevi might have targeted him.
Just like Chiranjeevi, Vijayasai Reddy also indirectly took some potshots. Reddy said that the film industry is not special and film stars and politicians have a future only if the people support them. Saying that the poor and workers are the responsibility of the government and it will talk about this.
On the other hand, the YSRCP MP also showered praises on the heroes who take less remuneration and make more movies to help the industry and he appreciates such actors. Reddy also said that such actors are helping the industry and the daily wage workers.
Though Vijayasai Reddy did not take any names a debate is going on about whether he indirectly took a dig at the senior hero who made some serious comments on the government.
No More Legal Troubles For Chiranjeevi’s Bholaa Shankar!
Bhola Shankar starring Megastar Chiranjeevi landed in a big controversy ahead of the release with a distributor moving the court seeking directives to stay the movie release claiming that the producer owes him money and there is no proper response from him. There was a lot of suspense on the issue.
A day before the release, the makers of the film got a big relief. The Court is said to have quashed the petition that was filed to stay the film release and gave a green signal for the release.
As per the information, there are no more legal issues for Bholaashankar and the film will release as per the schedule. The issues surrounding the film were resolved with the Court dismissing the petition. The development is a big relief for the makers.
Vizag distributor Satish moved the court saying that he paid money to get the distribution rights of Agent for Telugu states, but the distribution rights were given for just the Vizag city and he was promised to pay back the remaining money. However, there is no response from the producer.
AK Entertainments which bankrolled Akkineni Akhil’s Agent and produced Bholaa Shankar and hence the distributor moved the court. Now the makers received a big relief as the petition was dismissed by the court.
Bhola Shankar is an official remake of the 2015 Tamil film Vedalam, helmed by Meher Ramesh. The film stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Keerthy Suresh, and Sushanth in key roles which is slated for a grand release on the 11th of August.
Polishetty’s Film Stuck In The Middle!
‘UV Creations’ is a production banner who gained a lot of fame for being Prabhas’ home banner. Since it is owned by his relatives and good friend, Prabhas worked on a lot of films under this banner. While they gave some good hits, they are criticised for their late updates all the time. Their coanstant postponements irritate the fans.
While such delays are usual for pan-Indian movies, the same thing is happening for ‘Ms Shetty Mr Polishetty’ as well. This medium-budget film was supposed to release long back and the makers announced a lot of release dates but it is yet to hit the big screens. It should have arrived on 4th August but they postponed the release citing Superstar and Megastar’s releases on 10th and 11th August respectively.
There is zero competition on 18th August but they are not releasing it on that date. Since Varun Tej’s ‘Gandeevadhari Arjuna’ is releasing on 25th August, the team of Anushka and Naveen’s film are not ready to take the risk of releasing on the same day. The release may be shifted to September but Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Khushi’ is releasing on the 1st.
On 7th September, there is SRK’s ‘Jawan’ which will have a huge release all over the nation. The hype is unreal on the movie but the team of Anushka’s film are aiming for this date. The next week, there are big releases like Ram’s ‘Skanda’, ‘Chandramukhi 2’ and others. As we know, the month’s end will witness the release of ‘Salaar’. So, the Naveen Polishetty starrer is stuck in between all the big releases and the makers don’t know what to do.
Renu Desai Stands In Solidarity With Pawan Kalyan!
Keeping aside the debate on the collections of Pawan Kalyan’s Bro, it created a few controversies and became the target of the ruling YSRCP. The row started with Ambati Rayudu raising a few objections that a parody character was designed against him. A war of words also happened. The issue took a turn with reports that a movie or web series would be made on Pawan’s marriages.
As a sudden twist, Pawan Kalyan’s ex-wife Renu Desai stood in support of Pawan Kalyan and said that she supports him politically Pawan Kalyan is money minded and he is among the few people whom she knows work for society.
In a video she posted on Instagram, Renu Desai said that she heard someone is making a movie or web series on Pawan Kalyan’s marriages and kids and urged everyone to not drag families and kids into politics.
Renu Desai went on to say that personal and political things are different. Pawan Kalyan is often targeted on his personal matters and marriages. Children are also being dragged into this which is not good, she said.
“I am aware that a lot of people won’t understand why this post but I hope that we can keep the personal pain aside like I am doing and focus on the larger good of our society and underprivileged communities :),” Renu Desai captioned her Instagram post.
After urging everyone to not drag personal and family issues into politics, Renu Desai said that Pawan Kalyan is a rare person and wants to serve the people. I have supported Pawan politically earlier and I do the same now, she said.

Megastar Chiranjeevi is the uncrowned king of Tollywood till 2007. After ‘Shankar Dada Zindabad’, he took a break from movies and decided to focus on politics. Getting first day morning show tickets for a Chiranjeevi film used to be an achievement for people. The euphoria during the release of his movies were unimaginable. People used to stand in queues for hours together and his films got huge collections irrespective of the talk.
By the time he came back, the online bookings were in full flow and there is no need for people to push in front of the ticket windows anymore. Even then, his ‘Khaidi No 150’ had a lot of craze and hype was unread for ‘Sye Raa’ too. The bookings for ‘Godfather’ and ‘Acharya’ were decent too prior to the release despite the dip in hype. His craze was on full display during the release of ‘Waltair Veerayya’ once again. It turned out to be a blockbuster and earned huge profits during the Sankranti season of 2023.
Any movie after such a big hit is expected to have high expectations and huge buzz. But ‘Bholaa Shankar’ is unable to grab the attention of the public. As the film is a remake and Meher Ramesh is the director, there are very low expectations on the movie. Many expected Chiru’s charisma to attract the crowd but the advance bookings are not that encouraging. Despite the bookings getting opened five days ago, the shows are not full. The bookings in multiplexes are especially low.
The audience are not willing to spend more than 250 rupees per ticket on ‘Bholaa Shankar’ and they are waiting for the talk to come out. With ‘Jailer’ getting positive reports, the movie is expected to face a big challenge as well. We need to wait and see how Megastar performs at the box office amidst all these odds.
‘GA’ Trailer: Get Ready For A Thrilling Action Ride!
After a pretty slick teaser, the team of Mega Prince Varun Tej’s upcoming action thriller ‘Gandeevadhari Arjuna’ has released the theatrical trailer of the movie. Written and directed by Praveen Sattaru on a grand scale, this movie is all set to hit the screens worldwide on 25th August 2023. The teaser was high on style but the trailer gives an idea regarding the film’s storyline.
Praveen Sattaru who is a specialist in making spy action flicks seems to have readied another interesting one. The teaser starts off with Nasser addressing a huge conference of delegates about humankind. It slowly introduces us to Arjun who is an agent who can take the bullet for a client. His character is established quite well and the villain is introduced along with the atrocities he does. How does the hero put an end to everything forms the crux of the story.
The trailer is quite fast-paced and it showcases that the movie is high on action. There are going to be ample thrilling scenes in the movie. The female lead Sakshi Vaidya too seems to have a good role in ‘Gandeevadhari Arjuna’. She is seen as an officer who doesn’t trust Arjun due to her past with him. The trailer definitely creates a positive impact with the racy action scenes and stylish editing.
Varun Tej looks stylish and superb in the action avatar. Mukesh’s camera work and Mickey J Meyer’s vivacious BGM further elevate the actioner’s tone. Praveen Sattaru looked in his elements and seems to have delivered a well-packaged flick. This is the first time Varun Tej and Praveen Sattaru have joined hands. Billed to be an action thriller, the film is produced by BVSN Prasad under the Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner. Dharmendra Kakarala is the editor of this movie which has a Hollywood feel to it.
King Of Kotha Trailer: Intriguing & Dramatic Throughout!
Dulquer Salman is one of the most happening star heroes in the Malayalam film industry and he enjoys great stardom in all South Indian languages. The handsome hero did films in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi as well. He is one of the busiest actors around and he is all set to arrive with an interesting movie named ‘King Of Kotha’.
The makers did not announce the release date but confirmed that it will be in August. The first song ‘Hallaa Machaare’ turned out to be a success and the theatrical trailer arrived a while ago. Dulquer will be seen as Ravi who is a gangster. He follows his father’s footsteps through he is more focused on his romantic life and sports.
The handsome hero looked wonderful and it will be interesting to see him in such a mass role. The supporting cast too were exceptional and the visuals are highly attractive. The music and the dramatic portions are quite captivating. Let us wait and see how the movie turns out when it hits the screens.
