‘Vidudala Part 1’ fails to impress Telugu audience

Despite garnering positive reviews and an opening day collection of over one crore twenty lakhs, Vetrimaran’s ‘Vidudala Part 1’ failed to strike a chord with the Telugu audience.
The film, set against the backdrop of the 80s Police Naxalite war, couldn’t attract the family crowd due to its violence and regionalism issues. Even with Geetha Film Distribution promoting the film, it failed to use the opportunity presented by the disastrous performance of other films like Shakunthalam and Rudrudu.
The lack of interest from the Telugu audience highlights the challenge of attracting them to films outside their comfort zone.
The movie’s collections details are yet to be released, which is crucial for the business of the second part. The second part is expected to feature a more prominent role for Vijay Sethupathi’s character, which should be marketed heavily during the release.
The release date for ‘Vidudala Part 2’ hasn’t been finalized, but it is expected to be released simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu languages. The shocking content of the first part will undoubtedly generate a response, but it remains to be seen if it will be enough to make the second part a success.
‘Pushpa 2’ Taking The Route Of ‘RRR’ & Not ‘KGF – 2’!
If we look closely, the basic premise of ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ and ‘KGF’ franchise are quite similar. The hero elevations and the narration pattern also share some resemblance though the backdrop and presentation are completely different. As we know, the second part of ‘KGF’ which was released in 2022 was the biggest hit in India and even crossed the collections of ‘RRR’. The masses loved the film and many expected ‘Pushpa 2’ to follow the same pattern. But sources claim that Allu Arjun wants to recreate what ‘RRR’ did and not ‘KGF – 2’.
Apparently, the Icon Star wants to get success in the international market and has asked Sukumar to do what Rajamouli did but in a better way. The first draft which Sukumar wrote for ‘Pushpa 2’ did not have scope for foreign locations and foreign actors. Sources say that Sukumar included them in the script after Bunny’s suggestion.
Apparently, a crucial action episode will happen in a foreign country and actors from abroad are brought to India to film those scenes. The action sequences are expected to be the highlight of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ and one such huge fight scene is currently being canned in Ramoji Film City.
Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine in this flick while Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings are bankrolling this project. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer. Fahadh Fasil will be seen as the antagonist while Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, Suneel, Anasuya Bharadwaj and others play key roles. Miroslaw Kuba Brozek is the cinematographer while Karthika Srinivas is the editor.

కోలీవుడ్ స్టార్ హీరోయిన్ ఖుష్బూ గురించి అందరికీ తెలిసిందే. ఉన్నది ఉన్నట్టుగా ముక్కుసూటిగా మాట్లాడే ఖుష్బూ హీరోయిన్ గా అప్పటి ప్రేక్షకులను అలరించగా ఇప్పుడు క్యారెక్టర్ ఆర్టిస్ట్ గా చేస్తూ ప్రేక్షకులను మెప్పిస్తున్నారు. తమిళ్ సినిమాలే కాదు తెలుగులో కూడా ఆమె వరుస సినిమాలు చేస్తున్నారు. సినిమాలే కాదు జబర్దస్త్ షోలో పార్ట్ టైం జడ్జ్ గా ఉంటున్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం జబర్దస్త్ జడ్జిగా ఇంద్రజ కృష్ణ భగవాన్ ఉంటున్నారు. వీరిలో ఏ ఒక్కరు మిస్సైనా ఖుష్బూ అక్కడ ప్రత్యక్షమవుతుంది.
లేటెస్ట్ గా గోపీచంద్ హీరోగా వస్తున్న రామబాణం సినిమాలో కీలక పాత్రలో నటించారు ఖుష్బూ. ఈ క్రమంలో లేటెస్ట్ గా ఓ స్పెషల్ చిట్ చాట్ లో పాల్గొన్నారు. ఈ ఇంటర్వ్యూలో భాగంగా ఆమె హీరోయిన్ టబుకి వార్నింగ్ ఇచ్చిన విషయాన్ని చెప్పుకొచ్చారు ఖుష్బూ.
అమితాబ్ అంటే ఎంతో ఇష్టమని చెప్పిన ఖుష్బూ చినీకం సినిమాలో టబు అమితాబ్ తో కలిసి రొమాన్స్ చేయడం తట్టుకోలేకపోయానని అన్నారు. చిన్నప్పుడు అమితాబ్ తో కలిసి నటించాను పెద్దయ్యాక కుదరలేదు.
అయితే తనకు రాని ఆ ఛాన్స్ టబు దక్కించుకున్నందుకు ఆమెకు ఫోన్ చేసి మరీ తిట్టిందట. అమితాబ్ తో రొమాన్స్ చేస్తే తాను చేయాలి నువ్వెందుకు చేశావ్.. ఆయనతో రొమాన్స్ చేసే హక్కు అర్హత తనకే ఉన్నాయని చెప్పిందట. అలా అమితాబ్ పై తనకు ఉన్న ఇష్టాన్ని వెల్లడించింది ఖుష్బూ.
చిరంజీవి బాలకృష్ణతో కూడా కలిసి నటించే అవకాశం కూడా చూస్తున్న అంటూ చెప్పారు. ఆ అవకాశం ఎప్పుడు వస్తుందో చూడాలి అలాంటి ఛాన్స్ కోసం ఎదురుచూస్తున్నా అన్నారు ఖుష్బూ.. తెలుగులో ఎలాగు సినిమాలు చేస్తున్నా కాబట్టి త్వరలోనే అలాంటి ఛాన్స్ అందుకుంటానని నమ్మకం ఉందని అన్నారు.
పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ తో అజ్ఞాతవాసి సినిమాలో నటించిన ఖుష్బూ ఆ సినిమా ఎందుకు ప్రేక్షకులకు నచ్చలేదో తనకు అర్ధం కాలేదని అన్నారు. బహుశా పవన్ మదర్ గా తనని యాస్పెక్ట్ చేయలేదని అన్నారు. మా మధ్య మ్యూజిక్ మిస్ అయ్యి ఉండొచ్చని అన్నారు.

నాచురల్ స్టార్ నాని గత నెలలో దసరా సినిమాతో ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు వచ్చి బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ కి సొంతం చేసుకున్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే. భారీ బడ్జెట్ తో తెరకెక్కిన దసరా సినిమాతో శ్రీకాంత్ ఓదెల దర్శకుడిగా పరిచయం అయ్యారు. కంప్లీట్ మాస్ అండ్ రా కల్ట్ సబ్జెక్టుతో న్యాచురల్ స్టార్ నాని ఈ సినిమా చేయడం విశేషం. తెలంగాణ బ్యాక్ డ్రాప్ లో తెరకెక్కిన ఈ మూవీ ప్రేక్షకులను విశేషంగా ఆకట్టుకుంది.
మూవీలో నాని పోషించిన ధరణి పాత్ర అయితే బాగా కనెక్ట్ అయింది. నాని కెరియర్ లోనే హైయెస్ట్ కలెక్షన్స్ సొంతం చేసుకున్న సినిమాగా దసరా నిలిచింది. ఇదిలా ఉంటే దసరా రిలీజ్ కి ముందే నాని మరో సినిమాకి గ్రీన్ సిగ్నల్ ఇచ్చాడు. అది కూడా కొత్త దర్శకుడుతోనే చేయడం విశేషం. శౌర్యువ్ ఈ సినిమాతో దర్శకుడిగా పరిచయం అవుతూ ఉన్నారు.
నాచురల్ స్టార్ నాని 30వ సినిమాగా ఇది తెరకెక్కుతూ ఉండడం విశేషం. బాలీవుడ్ బ్యూటీ మృణాల్ ఠాగూర్ ఈ సినిమాలో హీరోయిన్ గా నటిస్తోంది. సీతారామం లాంటి బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ సినిమా తర్వాత మృణాల్ ఠాగూర్ తెలుగులో చేస్తున్న రెండో సినిమా ఇది కావడం విశేషం. తండ్రి కూతుళ్ళ అనుబంధం బ్యాక్ డ్రాప్ లో ఈ మూవీ కథ ఉండబోతుంది అని ఇప్పటికే క్లారిటీ ఇచ్చారు.
ఈ సినిమా విడాకులు తీసుకున్న భార్య భర్తల మధ్య నలిగిపోయే చిన్నారి పాత్ర దృక్కోణం నుంచి ఉండబోతుందని ఇండస్ట్రీ వర్గాలలో వినిపిస్తోంది. ఇప్పటికే మృణాల్ ఠాకూర్ ఇదొక అద్భుతమైన కథ అని చెప్పారు. ఇదిలా ఉంటే హాయ్ నాన్న అనే టైటిల్ ఈ సినిమాకి నిర్ణయించినట్లుగా ప్రచారం నడుస్తోంది.
తండ్రి కూతుర్ల అనుబంధం ప్రధాన ఇతివృత్తం కావడంతో ఈ ఇంట్రెస్టింగ్ టైటిల్ మూవీకి ఫైనల్ చేసినట్లుగా టాక్. గతంలో నాని జెర్సీ సినిమాలో తండ్రి కొడుకుల మధ్య ఎమోషనల్ బాండింగ్ నేపథ్యంలో కథాంశాన్ని ఆవిష్కరించి బ్లాక్ బాస్టర్ కొట్టారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో మరోసారి అలాంటి ఎమోషనల్ అటాచ్మెంట్ స్టోరీని తెరపై ఆవిష్కరిస్తూ ఉండడం ఆసక్తికరంగా మారింది.
Nightmares For ‘Adipurush’ Team Due To ‘Shaakunthalam’!
Samantha’s ‘Shaakunthalam’ which came out last Friday has cleared all the assumptions that a movie with grand visuals and big sets will amaze people. A movie needs proper storytelling in order to be successful. This is the reason why ‘Shaakunthalam’ which was made with a budget of over 50 crores has turned out to be a huge disaster. The movie’s collections are very poor on the weekend and trade experts predict a huge loss coming the way of distributors.
Despite having sympathy towards Samantha’s hard work and Gunasekhar’s passion for making such historic movies, people are not daring to enter the theatres to watch this movie. The lack of emotional connection and miscasting of the lead actors along with the artificial settings made the film a huge failure. Looking at this response, fans of Prabhas are fearing ‘Adipurush’ too. Not just the fans but the movie’s team is also scared about what would happen on June 16th.
As we know, the visuals and graphics in ‘Adipurush’ teaser were trolled heavily and the audience feel that the shortcomings of ‘Shaakunthalam’ will be visible in Prabhas’ mythological drama too. Due to the negative response it received, the team postponed the release in order to work on the special effects. Though they could improve the visuals a bit, one cannot change the entire movie.
Fantasy and historic movies create wonders at the box office if they are presented in an impressive manner. But things go down south instantly when the audience feel disappointed by the movie. We need to wait and see if ‘Adipurush’ falls into the ‘Shaakunthalam’ category or ‘RRR’ & ‘Tanhaji’ category.
As we know, Prabhas will be seen as lord Ram in this movie and director Om Raut said many times that the ‘Baahubali’ hero is the perfect choice to play such an iconic role. In this movie, Kriti Sanon will be seen as Sita while Sunny Singh is Lakshmana. Saif Ali Khan played the role of antagonist Lankesh in the movie. T-Series produced this movie which will be released on 16th June in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Om Raut is the director.
Agent Trailer: High-Octane Action & Thrills
Agent, the latest collaboration between Akhil Akkineni and Surender Reddy, promises to be a thrilling action-packed ride that fans won’t want to miss. Produced by Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainments and mounted on a grand scale, the film’s trailer launch in Kakinada created quite a buzz.
While the trailer doesn’t reveal much about the plot, it certainly leaves a lasting impression. From the slick presentation of each character to the high-octane action choreography, world-class cinematography, thumping background score, sharp cuts, and top-notch production values, it seems like the movie has it all.
Akhil Akkineni’s performance as a spy is a sight to behold. His character is daring, dashing, and wild, and he delivers a power-packed role that fans will love. The film also stars Mammootty and Dino Morea, both of whom are great value additions to the cast. Sakshi Vaidya looks stunning in the romantic episodes, and the action sequences promise to be a visual treat.
The film’s story is provided by Vakkantham Vamsi, while Rasool Ellore captures every frame with his stylish cinematography. Hip Hop Thamizha’s music is another big asset, and the production values are of Hollywood standard. National Award winner Naveen Nooli serves as the editor, and Avinash Kolla takes care of the art department.
