Hrithik Roshan Remembers His Iconic Film & Shares A Message!
Bollywood’s Greek God Hrithik Roshan has selected versatile scripts right from the beginning. After making a stellar debut with ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hain’, he immediately made an army-based film like ‘Lakshya’. He appeared as a mentally challenged guy in ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ and did a superhero movie like ‘Krrish’. After working on racy action flick like ‘Dhoom 2’, he did ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ which is a historic film directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar.
This movie showcased the love between Akbar and his wife Jodhaa. The movie was 4 hours long but still turned out to be a huge success. It is one of the iconic films and the music from AR Rahman is unparalleled. The movie completed 15 years on Wednesday and the ‘War’ hero decided to share a message to his director on this special occasion. He even shared some pictures from the time when it was shot.
Hrithik wrote, “Happy Birthday @ashutoshgowariker. Thank you for trusting me with the monumental responsibility of being a part of Jodhaa Akbar. Your direction & my incredible co-stars will forever be cherished. #15yearsOfJodhaaAkbar.” Hrithik and Ashutosh worked together once again in 2015. They made ‘Mohenjodaro’ which turned out to be a huge disaster at the box office.
Talking about his upcoming project ‘Fighter’, he said, “We are shooting with real fighter jets. We just shot in a Sukhoi. It has been so inspiring just being around the Indian Air Force. There is so much to learn from their body language, decorum, the discipline, their courage and intelligence. I am very glad that I got to experience that myself.”
Siddharth Anand who delivered a massive success like ‘Pathaan’ is directing this movie. Hrithik and Siddharth made ‘War’ and ‘Bang Bang’ together before. ‘Fighter’ has Deepika Padukone playing the female lead and it is expected to hit the screens in January 2024.

Dazzling stalwart Pooja Hegde is one of the top actresses in the country. She is doing projects simultaneously in the South as well as the North. She will soon be arriving with her family action drama ‘Kisi Ki Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan’ starring Salman Khan in the lead. Apart from that, she is also the heroine in Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film under Trivikram’s direction.
Prior to the lockdown, Pooja was considered as a lucky charm since most of her movies with big heroes turned out to be super hits. ‘DJ’, ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’, ‘Aravinda Sametha’, ‘Maharshi’ and others were highly successful. But ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ with Akhil proved to her last hit and everything which came after that turned out to be duds. Some of these films were outright disasters while the others were failures. She was supposed to be the heroine ‘Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh’ but we don’t know if she is still the leading lady in ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ or not. She has been roped in as the heroine for ‘Jana Gana Mana’ which started before the release of Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Liger’ under Puri Jagannadh’s direction but it got shelved after one schedule.
Reports suggest that she is not getting a lot of offers like before. The successive failures are the biggest reason and she reportedly charges around 3-3.5 crores per film which is too costly for a heroine who is out of form according to many. We need to see if Pooja changes her style and reduces the fee or not.

Late actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao attained legendary status for himself in the Telugu film industry. Others stand behind him on the list of legendary actors. Now the union government is gearing up to give a special honour to NTR after a very long time. The Union Government and Reserve Bank Of India agreed to print NTR’s picture of a 100 rupees coin. It is said that the concerned officers met Bharatiya Janata Party leader, NTR’s daughter Purandeswari especially to show the sample of the picture. Reports say that Purandeswari also gave her nod to the sample. The Reserve Bank releases coins with pictures of famous personalities to honour them.
We have to see the decision of printing senior NTR’s picture on a Rs 100 coin as a great one. Even when the Telugu Desam Party was in power no efforts were made to bring recognition to NTR at the national level.
Surprisingly, the union government gave its nod to print NTR’s picture as his daughter Daggubati Purandeswari is a part of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. Due to her efforts, this is believed to have happened.
The Bharatiya Janata Party is taking the name of the late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao of late. The party leaders are showering praises on him whenever there is any chance. After scoring hits like ‘Aakasam Nee Haddu Ra’ and ‘Jai Bhim’, the Tamil star hero has faced a flop in the form of ‘ET’ which is a regular commercial drama. Suriya is an actor par excellence and an inspiration for many. Despite being one of the biggest stars, he never leaves a chance to prove his versatility.
For his 42nd film, he teamed up with director Shiva who is known for his movies like ‘Vedhalam’, ‘Vivekam’, ‘Vishwasam’, ‘Siruttai’ and others. Devi Sri Prasad is going to give music for Suriya’s film after ‘Singam 1 & 2’. Also, DSP and Shiva have worked on ‘Veeram’ before. The motion poster which came out got a phenomenal response. The makers have already requested everyone not to leak any stills or footage regarding this film previously.
Sources say that Suriya is going to be seen playing five characters in this movie. The team recently released a call out for bodybuilders with facial hair (Beard & Mustache) and long hair. They have to be male bodybuilders who are aged between 25-55 years. Insiders reveal that the makers planned a terrific action sequence which is going to cost around 30 crores. They need huge bodybuilders for this scene and it is expected to be canned on the scale of ‘KGF’ and ‘Baahubali’ movies.
Disha Patani is expected to be the female lead in this flick. Mahat is going to be seen in an important role. Madhan Karky is the dialogue writer for this flick while Shiva and Aadhi Narayana penned the script together. Vetri is the cinematographer while Milan is the art director. Richar Kevin will be the editor while Supreme Sundar is the fight master. This movie is going to be released in 10 languages. Let us wait and see how this movie is going to be.
NTR’s dual role in NTR30?
There are multiple reports in connection with Jr NTR and Koratala Siva’s NTR30 which happens to be one of the most exciting projects in recent times.
There are several uncertified rumors on this project and one such rumor is that NTR is playing a dual role in the film.
Apparently, NTR will be playing the roles of a father and a son in the film. He will be seen in these two contrasting characters. Koratala Siva has carefully designed the same.
But for now, this is just an unverified speculation and we can’t confirm the authenticity of it. So there’s still time to go for the affirmative updates on the film.
Bollywood ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ Not Creating A Lot Of Buzz!
Bollywood’s handsome hero Karthik Aryan is in great form now. He is all set to arrive this weekend with ‘Shehzada’ which is a remake of Allu Arjun’s blockbuster film ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’. Tall and glamorous girl Kriti Sanon is the heroine while Paresh Rawal is going to play the role Murali Sharma did in the original. Manisha Koirala will be replacing Tabu in the mother’s role.
The trailer and songs were released and the lead actors are promoting this film by touring across North India but it is not working out for some reason. Karthik Aryan tried to do everything Allu Arjun did in the original and the trailer makes it clear that he did the best he could. But the advance bookings are not that encouraging as per reports.
Sources say that only 3500 tickets go booked till now and competing with the Hollywood superhero flick ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ is proving to be costly. The advance bookings for the Marvel film are very good but the same cannot be said for Karthik Aryan’s film. The young hero has a lot of craze but it looks like he has to depend on the word of mouth for ‘Shehzada’ this time.
Allu Aravind and S Radha Krishna who produced the original Telugu film are also partners in this Bollywood remake. Pritam is composing the music and we all know the range of success ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ achieved. Rohit Dhawan who made ‘Desi Boyz’ and ‘Dishoom’ is directing this film.
