She rises to the film’s demanding action blocks with ease, executing them cleanly and convincingly. Her performance in these high-intensity moments has been particularly appreciated by audiences, adding a strong edge to her character.

Beyond her individual performance, Malavika’s on-screen pairing with Prabhas has quickly become a fan favourite. Their chemistry adds to the film’s appeal and enhances the overall viewing experience.

With a balanced mix of performance, screen presence, and an impressive action showcase, Malavika Mohanan’s entry into Telugu cinema with The Raja Saab has undoubtedly left a strong and lasting impression.

Yandamuri Veerendranath Sparks Outrage With Shocking On-Stage Remark

Share

Veteran writer Yandamuri Veerendranath, long known for projecting himself as a personality development mentor and intellectual voice, has now sparked widespread outrage with a deeply disturbing statement made at the Avakai Amaravati programme held at Bhavani Island. During his speech, he went to the shocking extent of saying that he would pray to Goddess Saraswati for the destruction of the families of those who did not clap for him.

This remark cannot be dismissed as humour or exaggeration. It reflects an alarming level of arrogance and intolerance, exposing how ego can overpower the very values a so-called moral guide claims to stand for. A man who has built a public image through books on self-improvement and positive thinking resorting to cursing innocent families over a lack of applause has left many stunned and angered.

Applause is a choice, not an obligation. Silence does not amount to disrespect. When a speaker seeks validation through forced claps, it speaks more about personal insecurity than intellectual stature. Instead of inspiring his audience, Yandamuri’s words have once again hurt and alienated them.

This incident has also revived memories of his earlier controversial behaviour. In the past, he has drawn criticism for deliberately avoiding or downplaying references to popular figures like Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan in his speeches, leading to unnecessary controversies and resentment. Rather than uniting audiences, his public addresses have often been divisive and provocative.

Adding to the shock, when a woman from the audience later questioned him directly, asking how someone she once admired could pray for the destruction of her family, there was no apology or sense of accountability. He reportedly brushed aside her concern with indifference and walked away, further intensifying the backlash.

In the aftermath, many voices on social media have also resurfaced long-standing criticism that Yandamuri lacks originality and has built much of his reputation by adapting ideas from English books and presenting them as his own in Telugu. The incident has triggered a larger debate on accountability, humility, and the responsibility that comes with public influence.

Niddhi Agerwal’s Comeback Hopes Dented Again

Share

Niddhi Agerwal, one of the familiar faces in Telugu cinema, had pinned high hopes on The Raja Saab as a turning point in her career. After the underwhelming outcome of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, she believed that this film would finally put her back on the success track. Unfortunately, after nearly four years of waiting and sustained effort, the result has left her disappointed.

Niddhi made her entry into the Telugu film industry through Akkineni-backed projects like Savyasachi and Mr Majnu. Her career saw a major boost with iSmart Shankar, which turned out to be a big success and positioned her as a potential star heroine. At that stage, many expected her to race ahead with strong offers. However, a lack of the right scripts and opportunities stalled her momentum, pushing her career into a slow phase.

Though Hero gave her some visibility, the comeback she strongly anticipated with Hari Hara Veera Mallu did not materialise. She invested heavily in that project, allocating bulk dates and consciously staying away from signing new films, hoping it would redefine her career. But the film’s response failed to meet expectations. Still, she placed her hopes on The Raja Saab, believing that sharing screen space with Prabhas would significantly elevate her profile.

Despite having a proper heroine role in The Raja Saab, the character did not translate into the impact she had hoped for. The execution did not allow her to shine, and she couldn’t grab the limelight even after such a long wait. The dream comeback she envisioned remains unfulfilled for now. Going forward, all eyes are on what kind of projects Niddhi Agerwal will choose next and whether she can finally turn the tide in her favour.

This recognition highlights his long-standing dedication, discipline, and mastery over martial arts, earning him international acclaim.

Known widely as an actor and the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan has balanced cinema, politics, and martial arts throughout his life. Vijay Deverakonda Reacts to Court Order on MSG Reviews

Share

Actor Vijay Deverakonda has reacted with mixed emotions to a recent court order that restricts film reviews and ratings for Chiranjeevi’s upcoming entertainer Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu on ticketing platforms. The move aims to curb organised negative campaigns and malicious rating practices that often target films around release time.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is set to release on January 12 as a Sankranthi festive attraction. Responding to the development on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Vijay Deverakonda shared a candid note expressing both relief and disappointment.

He wrote that he felt happy knowing that the hard work, dreams, and financial investments of many people involved in the film are being protected to some extent. At the same time, he admitted feeling sad about the reality that such measures are needed because of people within the industry and audience who indulge in deliberate negativity. Questioning this mindset, Vijay asked what happened to the idea of “live and let live” and growing together as an industry.

The actor also recalled his own experiences, stating that he first became aware of organised attacks during the release of his film Dear Comrade. Vijay revealed that he had spoken about this issue in the past, but his concerns were often dismissed with the argument that “no one can stop a good film.” However, he pointed out that producers and directors who later collaborated with him eventually realised the seriousness and scale of the problem.

Vijay further shared that he has spent many sleepless nights wondering about the people behind such targeted negativity and how to deal with them, not just to protect his own dreams but also the aspirations of many others who come into the industry with hope. He concluded by saying that while such issues may not disappear completely, steps like these can at least reduce one major worry. For now, he wished MSG and all other Sankranthi releases great success in entertaining audiences during the festive season.

Ravi Teja’s Smart Move: Fee Cut with Profit Share Strategy

Share

Ravi Teja, a star who carved his own path in the industry purely through hard work and without the backing of nepotism, has been going through a rough phase with multiple box-office setbacks in a short span. Known for his relentless work ethic, Ravi Teja often signs films back-to-back without much of a break. However, in the film industry, success ultimately dictates a star’s market value and, in turn, their remuneration.

While many actors are reluctant to revise their fees—often driven by ego or insecurity—Ravi Teja seems to be taking a far more grounded and practical approach. His upcoming release Bharta Mahasayulaki Wignyapti, which is hitting screens this week, stands as a clear example. For this film, he reportedly chose to take a relatively lower remuneration coupled with a profit-sharing model, instead of insisting on a hefty upfront paycheck as he did during his peak.

Interestingly, this approach is not limited to just one project. For his forthcoming films as well, Ravi Teja is said to have reduced his remuneration to nearly one-third of what he once commanded. Until recently, his highest reported fee was around ₹25 crore. However, for his ongoing Mythri Movie Makers project directed by Siva Nirvana, he has allegedly agreed to a base remuneration of about ₹8 crore along with a profit-sharing arrangement.

This shift is being seen as a healthy and forward-thinking move that benefits not just producers but the industry as a whole. Lower financial pressure on filmmakers encourages better content, balanced budgets, and long-term sustainability. Ravi Teja’s decision reflects maturity and adaptability—qualities essential for career longevity. In many ways, he is setting a precedent, and it wouldn’t be surprising if more top stars eventually follow this pragmatic model.

Trump’s Greenland Military Plans Spark Pentagon Pushback

Share

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, is reportedly considering another controversial move, with fresh discussions emerging around Greenland. According to reports in US media, Trump recently directed special forces commanders to quietly prepare contingency plans for a possible military operation involving Greenland. Though described internally as a theoretical exercise rather than an immediate order, the directive has allegedly caused unease within senior military circles.

Sources familiar with the matter say top Pentagon officials strongly opposed the idea, raising concerns over both its legality and strategic rationale. Military leaders reportedly argued that any action against Greenland would violate international law and seriously strain relations with Denmark, a key NATO ally. Greenland is an autonomous territory under Danish sovereignty, and the United States already operates military facilities there under long-standing defence agreements.

Trump has on several occasions highlighted Greenland’s strategic importance, pointing to its Arctic location and growing Russian and Chinese activity in the region. However, senior defence officials are said to believe that diplomacy and alliance-based cooperation remain the only realistic and responsible approach. While Danish authorities have not officially responded to the latest reports, leaders in Copenhagen have consistently rejected any notion of US control over Greenland. The developments underline the continuing tension between political ambitions and military restraint within Washington’s national security establishment.

Australia Tightens Student Visa Rules, India Put in High-Risk Category

Share

Several countries across the world, including the United States and Canada, have already begun tightening immigration pathways, and Australia has now joined that list with a stricter approach. Australia has placed India in its highest risk category under the revised international student visa integrity framework, alongside Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan. This change has been introduced following a reassessment by Australia’s Department of Home Affairs and Department of Education, citing rising concerns over visa misuse, fake documentation and applicants whose intent to study was found to be questionable.

With this new classification, student visa applications from these countries will undergo much tougher scrutiny. Authorities have observed an increase in cases involving forged financial records, weak or inconsistent academic histories and mismatched study intentions. As a result, the impact on applicants, particularly from India, is expected to be immediate and significant.

Students will now need to provide more detailed and verifiable financial evidence, stronger academic credentials and clearer justifications for their chosen courses and study plans. Visa processing timelines are also likely to stretch, with a higher probability of interviews, additional background checks and refusals. While Australian officials insist the measures are not meant to discourage genuine students, but rather to safeguard the credibility of the international education system, education consultants fear the move could slow enrolments and heighten anxiety among aspirants.

India remains one of Australia’s largest sources of international students, and this tougher stance reflects the country’s attempt to strike a balance between controlling migration risks and preserving its global reputation as a leading education destination.

Bulgaria’s Digital Nomad Visa: A New European Base for Remote Workers

Share

Bulgaria is steadily positioning itself as a new hotspot for remote professionals with the introduction of its digital nomad visa, aimed at attracting global talent looking beyond overcrowded destinations such as Portugal and Spain. As highlighted by Euronews, the visa allows non-EU remote workers to legally live and work from Bulgaria while enjoying the advantages of being based within the European Union.

This move aligns with Bulgaria’s deeper integration into Europe’s core systems. The country has recently adopted the euro and joined the Schengen Zone, offering residents passport-free travel across 29 European countries. These developments significantly enhance Bulgaria’s appeal as a long-term base for international professionals.

The digital nomad visa is available to non-EU and non-EEA citizens who earn their income from outside Bulgaria and meet specific criteria. Eligible applicants include freelancers or independent contractors who have been working with non-Bulgarian clients for at least a year, remote employees of companies registered outside the EU, EEA, and Switzerland, and business owners holding more than a 25 percent stake in a company registered abroad. In addition, applicants must meet a minimum income requirement equivalent to 50 times Bulgaria’s monthly minimum wage, which works out to around €31,000 ($36,168) per year.

To begin the process, applicants must first obtain a Type D long-stay visa from a Bulgarian embassy or consulate in their home country. This visa allows entry into Bulgaria and enables applicants to submit their residency application under the digital nomad programme. Once in the country, they must apply for a residence permit within 14 days. The required documents include proof of accommodation in Bulgaria, a clean criminal record certificate from the applicant’s country of residence, certified Bulgarian translations of foreign documents, and valid health insurance covering both Bulgaria and the wider Schengen area.

The residence permit is issued for one year and can be renewed for an additional year, provided applicants continue to meet all eligibility conditions. With lower living costs compared to Western Europe, rich cultural heritage, and easy access to the Schengen Zone, Bulgaria presents an attractive alternative for remote workers seeking affordability without compromising connectivity. From its historic capital Sofia, home to the iconic Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, to its scenic landscapes and popular winter resorts, Bulgaria offers a balanced lifestyle that blends work, travel, and cultural exploration, making its digital nomad visa an increasingly compelling option for global professionals.

Jana Nayagan Release Delayed: Vijay Faces CBFC Hurdles Amid Controversy

Share

It is well known that Kollywood star Dhanush Vijay’s film Jana Nayagan is facing serious hurdles ahead of its release. Ideally, the movie was expected to hit screens this Sankranti, but with the release process now under court scrutiny, delays have become inevitable. Some industry insiders believe that once all issues are resolved, Jana Nayagan could release by the end of January, while others suggest a possible postponement to the summer.

Meanwhile, political controversies surrounding Jana Nayagan have intensified, with some groups reportedly trying to block the release. Vijay’s team and the film industry at large have stood firmly in support of the actor. Recently, controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) came forward to support Vijay, sharply criticizing the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) for obstructing the movie’s release.

In a detailed post, RGV argued that the CBFC has become an irrelevant institution in today’s digital age. He noted that the board’s interference is not limited to Vijay’s film alone, but reflects a larger, outdated system that fails to align with contemporary realities. “Today, a 12-year-old can access violent and adult content on a phone, yet the board considers censoring a dialogue or a cigarette puff in a film as protecting society. That’s a big joke,” RGV said.

He further suggested that the CBFC should rely on intelligent guidelines rather than arbitrary cuts and criticized the board’s approach as “theatrics” disguised as morality. According to RGV, cinema is not a classroom—it is a mirror to society, and audiences should be trusted to decide what they watch.

Although the Madras High Court single judge directed the CBFC to issue the censor certificate, the board appealed, and the division bench put a stay on the certificate, postponing the case’s next hearing to January 21. As a result, Jana Nayagan has completely missed the Sankranti race. Producers expressed their concern over potential losses, estimating damages of over ₹100 crores due to the missed festive season.

Several prominent personalities, including Kamal Haasan, RGV, and Mari Selvaraj, have publicly supported Vijay. Even Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin weighed in, criticizing the CBFC, stating that it has effectively become a “puppet” under central government control. This controversy has now sparked not just cinematic but also political debates.
