Made on a modest budget of approximately ₹2.5 crore, Little Hearts arrived in theatres with minimal hype and almost no expectations. The film was produced with the backing of ETV Win and supported by producer Aditya Hasan, who is known for encouraging content-driven cinema. Directed by Saimarthand, the movie relied heavily on emotional storytelling that resonated deeply with audiences across all age groups.

Starring YouTuber Mouli and newcomer Shivani Nagaram in the lead roles, Little Hearts had no popular stars to attract crowds initially.
