The audience proved once again with quality content always wins no matter how hard the circumstances. We witnessed a huge growth in the OTT market which made it tough of medium range movies get good revenues in theatres. Movies like ‘Bimbisara’ and ‘Sita Ramam’ showcased that people will step into theatres if the content impresses them.
A lot of biggies like ‘RRR’, ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’, ‘Bheemla Nayak’ and others got more than 100 crores at the box office in 2022. Apart from them, there are two medium range projects which surpassed everyone’s expectations and entered the 100 crore club. ‘Karthikeya 2’ and ‘Dhamaka’ which were bankrolled by People Media Factory, were released in 2022 and grossed more than 100 crores. Nikhil’s epic blockbuster ‘Karthikeya 2’ grossed over 127 crores and was extremely popular across the country. ‘Dhamaka’ starring Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, grossed over 100 crores in its first 12 days of release, setting a record as the first hundred crore film in Ravi Teja’s career. The film is still continuing the sensation in theatres and it will be Raviteja’s career biggest blockbuster.
People Media Factory was founded in 2017 by renowned IT entrepreneur TG Vishwa Prasad. The banner began production in Telugu with Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s MLA, which was co-produced by Vivek Kuchibotla. Many successful films were co-produced by TG Vishwaprasad and Vivek Kuchibotla. There are several projects in the works, including Gopichand – Sriwass, Avasarala Srinivas and Naga Shaurya’s ‘Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi’ as well as one with Lavanya Tripathi. Prabhas & Gopichand Reveal About The heroine They Fought For!
The amazing talk show ‘Unstoppable’ is smashing every record. After doing interviews with a lot of biggies, they have invited pan-Indian hero Prabhas who is usually very show. The first episode was streamed on 30th December and it created a lot of records in terms of views.
The second episode of this long interview is out now and Prabhas is accompanied with his good friend Gopichand this time. Balayya asked about the actress for whom they fought back in 2008. Gopichand replied that it is 2004 and they battled it out for Trisha in ‘Varsham’ movie. Prabhas was in laughs due to this answer.
Prabhas claimed that he likes watching movies and shopping for accessories but he wants to go by himself. He jokingly said that he might take Tamannaah or Nayanthara if needed. When asked about who Prabhas saves when Deepika Padukone and Samantha falls in the ocean, the ‘Baahubali’ hero replied Deepika as without her ‘Project K’ might get shelved.
Prabhas revealed that the humongous success of ‘Baahubali’ increased the pressure on him. He claimed that he is unable to decide whether he needs to do an action film or experimental film or commercial film or a love story. Prabhas got emotional when he remembered Krishnam Raju who played a key role in his success and life journey.
‘Veera Simha Reddy’ Team Flies To Ongole In A Chopper!
The huge pre-release event of ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ is all set to start in the next few hours. Nandamuri Balakrishna, heroine Shruti Hassan and producer Naveen Yerneni decided to reach the venue as quickly as possible. This is why they started from Hyderabad in a chopper and will be going to the venue in no time. Gopichand Malineni is the director of this flick.
The photos of Balakrishna and Shruti Hassan are going viral right now. Balayya is looking quite stylish in a colorful suit while Shruti is looking very elegant in a designer black and gold saree. The theatrical trailer of this mass entertainer will be coming out during the pre-release event and Thaman will be having a musical performance as everyone can expect.

This is the 107th film of Balayya and he is locking horns with Chiranjeevi’s ‘Waltair Veerayya’ during this Sankranti season. Mythri Movie Makers have bankrolled both these movies.
Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are producing the film, while acclaimed writer Sai Madhav Burra has provided dialogues. Chandu Ravipati is the executive producer for the film. Ram-Lakshman duo and Venkat are the fight masters. Rishi Punjabi is taking care of the cinematography, while National Award-Winning craftsman Navin Nooli is handling editing and AS Prakash is the production designer. Duniya Vijay will be seen as the villain while Varalaxmi Sarathkumar plays a key role.
Traditional Title Fixed For Gopichand’s Next!
There are certain combinations that grab the interest of the audience. Director Sriwass made his debut with ‘Lakshyam’ which has Gopichand as the lead. The film turned out to be a hit and the director went on to make movies like ‘Rama Rama Krishna Krishna’ and others. In 2014, they came together for the second time for ‘Loukyam’ which was a super hit. The high entertainment quotient impressed everyone. Now, this successful combination is aiming for a hattrick.
Produced by TG Viswa Prasad under the ‘People Media Factory’ banner, Gopichand and Sriwass will be working together once again and an official announcement has been made back in 2021. People Media Factory is known for catering to all sections of the audience with its different films and this project is certainly going to create a huge hype.
This will be Gopichand’s 30th film and it is very crucial for his career. He is going through a rough phase and so is director Sriwass whose last film ‘Saakshyam’ ended up as a failure. Since they both delivered hit films together, the trade circles are expecting another successful outing.

Apparently, this project is going to be named ‘Ramabanam’ which is traditional and powerful at the same time. Billed as a perfect family entertainer, this movie is going to have a lot of entertaining elements which you expect from a Sriwass film. Also, there will be some good action episodes that satisfy Gopichand’s image. The hero’s last outing ‘Pakka Commercial’ did not impress the audience.
Gopichand and Sriwass delivered two successful films till now and impressed the audience. It is to be seen if their combination delivers a hattrick or not. The shooting is going on at a very brisk pace.

What’s The Use Of Releasing In Theatres Now?
The Sankranti festive fever is going to start in the next five days and people are hoping to have a blast in theatres. But it lead to a dull box office this Friday as no filmmakers dared to release his film during this period. Last week, Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Khushi’ which came 21 years back entertained the audience while Mahesh Babu took the responsibility now. While these movies with a nostalgic feel are having houseful shows, people are showing no interest in watching the latest movies.
Today, movies like ‘Pratyardi’, ‘Michael Gang’, ‘A Journey To Kashi’, ‘Uttama Villain Care Of Mahadevapuram’ and others got released. But none of these movies have a minimum buzz around them. They have to completely rely on mouth talk. Hollywood film ‘Kingdom Of Dinosaurs’ have been released but the poor quality disappointed the audience. We can understand the situation when ‘Mayabazaar’ was re-released in colour. The situation will be the same for next few days.
The entire weekend went into the hands of Ravi Teja’s ‘Dhamaka’ once again and even ‘Avatar 2’ is registering good bookings on Saturday and Sunday. Many are saving money for the Sankranti releases. Movies like ‘Waltair Veerayya’, ‘Veera Simha Reddy’, ‘Varasudu’, ‘Thegimpu’, ‘Kalyanam Kamaneeyam’ and others are getting released during the festive weekend and the distributors are already engaged in their plans. While the screen count for these films are yet to be announced officially, we may get some clarity in the next three days.
