We all know that superstar Mahesh Babu has been saving many lives with his foundation. The star actor has already done free heart surgeries to more than 1000 children in partnership with Andhra Hospitals and filled those families with happiness.
Mahesh Babu Foundation has recently taken another step forward. A website named https://www.maheshbabufoundation.org/ has been launched on Sunday, on the New Year day. The Sarkaru Vaari Paata actor’s daughter Sithara Ghattamaneni launched the site and said, “I always wanted to be a part of the good works done by my father. I am very happy to launch the website now. I am donating this month’s pocket money to this foundation and being a part of this initiative.

If any children have the need for heart operations, they can make a request through this site. It is worth mentioning that Mahesh Babu Foundation also organizes free medical camps apart from conducting heart operations for children.
Shocking Accident: Woman Dragged For Hours By Car!
The national capital Delhi is hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons of late. A few weeks back the brutal murder of the 27-year-old woman Shraddha Walker came to light. The victim was chopped and killed by her live-in partner in a spine-chilling manner. An investigation is going on in the case.
Now another shocking reason made Delhi stay in the news. A spine-chilling accident was reported from Delhi on Sunday. A young lady was hit by a car and dragged for a few kilometers. The dead body was entangled to the vehicle for around one and a half hours.
On new year’s eve, a 20-year-old girl who was going on her scooty was hit by a car and passed away. The incident raised many eyeballs as the dead body was dragged by the car that hit her for 18 to 20 kilometres. An eyewitness recalls what happened on Sunday.
One Deepak Dahiya who has a shop nearby the accident spot spoke to the media and said that at around 3:20 am she heard a loud noise. Initially, he felt that it might be a tire burst, but saw a car. He also saw a body beneath the car.
Adding further the person said that he saw the vehicle repeatedly taking u-turns and traveling 4-5 kilometers. I informed the cops and chased the vehicle. After one and a half years the body fell from the vehicle near Jyoti village and the accused left the place.
“I tried to stop them many times but they did not stop the vehicle. For about one and a half hours they carried the girl’s body for about 20 km,†the eyewitness said speaking to the media.
Based on the information and the CCTV footage the concerned cops found the car and arrested five accused. Many doubt that the incident might be more than an accident as the girl was dragged for a few kilometers leaving her dead.
It is said that the dress on the victim’s body was torn after she was dragged for a few kilometers. The Delhi Commission of Women (DCW) reacted swiftly to the issue and sought strict action.
One Hit Wonder Makes A Sarcastic Comment On SSR!
SS Rajamouli is a name that needs no introduction. Right now, he is the biggest director in the Indian film industry. He is the one filmmaker under whose direction every hero wants to work irrespective of the region they come from. In a career spanning over two decades, the elite director did not deliver a single failure. He constantly betters himself and comes up with a blockbuster every time. His constant craving for perfection has made him what he is today.
His name is now echoing on the world stage and this explains a lot about Rajamouli. But there are still a lot of people who make degrading comments about him and claim that he is overrated. There are a few directors who fail to deliver two back-to-back hits but dare to make sarcastic comments on a director like Rajamouli is head and shoulders above everyone at the moment.
Alphonse Puthren is one such director who is a one film wonder. After ‘Premam’, he did not deliver a single hit and his last outing ‘Gold’ turned out to be a disaster. He has now triggered Telugu movie lovers by making bad remarks about the ‘RRR’ director. He wrote, “Want to see SS Rajamouli remake Vikramarkudu in English with College Papala bus song in today’s style with actors like Jackie Chan or Will Smith or Ryan Gosling with Scarlett Johanson or any actress suitable for it.”
It looks like the director needs to focus on making his films successful rather than making comments on giants like Rajamouli in order to stay relevant.

The new year has arrived and there are new hopes and dreams for every film industry. More than anyone else, Bollywood is trying to restore its lost glory. Things went downhill for the Hindi film industry over the past few years and 2022 turned out to be a huge nightmare. They only managed to get five notable hits last year and they were ‘Gangubai Khatiawadi’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, ‘The Kashmir Files’, ‘Brahmastra’ and ‘Drishyam 2’.
The biggest films in North India last year were ‘KGF – 2’ and ‘RRR’ whose Hindi dubbed versions got 480 crores and 250+ crores respectively. The highest-collecting movie in the North is still ‘Baahubali – The Conclusion’ whose Hindi dubbed version minted over 500 crores. This movie was released back in 2017 and it explains the situation Bollywood is in right now.
They are hoping to turn the tide around in 2023 and it is all going to start with the comeback of SRK. King Khan will be arriving with ‘Pathaan’ after a gap of 4 years and everyone pinned a lot of hopes on this Republic weekend release. Salman Khan will be arriving with the third part of his successful ‘Tiger’ franchise this year. While Aamir will be taking a break, Shah Rukh will be arriving once again in June with Atlee’s ‘Jawan’. Ranbir Kapoor will be turning on the action mode with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’. The first look poster raised expectations and it is going to release in August.
Ranveer Singh will be arriving with ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ which is directed by Karan Johar. Alia Bhatt is the heroine in it. SRK is most likely to have another release titled ‘Dunki’ which is directed by Raj Kumar Hirani. Apart from that, there is happening hero Karthik Aryan arriving with ‘Shehzada’ which is a remake of ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’, ‘Gadar 2’, ‘The Vaccine War’, ‘Bade Miyaan Chhote Miyaan’, and others. Akshay Kumar will be arriving with a couple of films as usual and Ajay Devgn will also release his ‘Khaidi’ remake soon.
With Prabhas and Prasanth Neel arriving together with ‘Salaar’, most of the audience are expecting this pan-Indian film to shatter the records of either ‘KGF – 2’ or ‘Baahubali – The Conclusion’. Let us wait and see if it happens or not.
Nikhil’s 18 Pages Day 10 is higher than Day 1
Young hero Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupama Parameswaran starrer ’18 Pages’ under the direction of Palnati Surya Pratap had a theatrical release on December 23rd. Opened to positive reports from the targeted youth audience, ’18 Pages’ had a terrific run at the ticket windows.
Going by the trade reports, 18 Pages earned more than Rs 3.5 crore gross on its tenth day (January 1st, 2023) at the box office, which is higher than Day 1. Utilising new year holiday the film registered terrific footfalls in every area.
The film’s word of mouth is strong and hence it will continue its dream run till Sankranthi releases. The unique love story with a brilliant narration impressed everyone and the love reflecting at ticket windows.
Ace filmmaker Sukumar has penned the script for 18 Pages. Produced by Bunny Vas, under the banners of GA 2 Pictures and Sukumar Writings, the music of the project has been provided by composer Gopi Sundar.
Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Dhamaka Collected 89 Cr Worldwide In 10 Days
Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s latest sensation Dhamaka is turning out to be one of the biggest blockbusters in the actor’s career. Sreeleela played the heroine in this mass-action entertainer directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad.
The movie is inching toward the 100 Cr mark. Dhamaka collected a worldwide gross of Rs 89 Cr in 10 days. The movie witnessed housefull boards in many centers on New Year and the 10th-day collections are on par with day one.
Dhamaka has attained another achievement, as the movie crossed half a million-dollar mark in the USA. Among the top grossers of the week, Dhamaka tops the list in Telugu states, while it is the third highest in India.
Dhamaka has already entered the profit zone. There will be no stopping for the movie for another 10 days, until the new releases for the Sankranthi.
First Look: Attractive Pair Shaurya & Malavika In Avasarala’s ‘PAPA’!
Talented actor Avasarala Srinivas is a skillful director too. He made two films namely ‘Oohalu Gusagusalade’ and ‘Jyo Achyuthananda’ which were clean entertainers. Both of them were successful at the box office but Srinivas took a lot of time for this third directorial. He teamed up with his favourite hero Naga Shaurya once again and made ‘Phalana Abbayi Pahalana Ammayi’. The film brings back Naga Shaurya and Malavika Nair together after their hit-collaboration ‘Kalyana Vaibhogame’.
People Media Factory has backed two big commercial successes in 2022, namely ‘Dhamaka’ and ‘Karthikeya 2’. They are bankrolling this project along with ‘Dasari Productions’ banner. This is a feel-good romantic film which is written as well as directed by Avasarala. He is aiming to score a hattrick with Shaurya this time. The team released a very attractive first look poster.

A special announcement video was also released recently. We can see the lead actors get together on a call with Srinivas Avasarala, discussing the absence of any updates surrounding the film. When Shaurya even says, ‘Even RRR has released in theatres’, Srinivas Avasarala cheekily responds to him that RRR had three letters while Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi has four (when read as PAPA) before confirming the launch date. Kalyani Malik, who scored the music for Naga Shaurya-Srinivas Avasarala’s earlier collaborations is the composer for this film too.
This movie is going to be a romantic entertainer spanning over a decade. It revolves around the highs and lows in the relationship of a couple. The film takes the viewers through their journey as they age from 18 year-olds to 28 year-olds. The romance element in the film is expected to be very realistic, mature and sensible and the director has claimed he would be presenting love in seven different hues, akin to a rainbow. Srinivas Avasarala’s conversational dialogues are a major USP of the film.
Apart from Shaurya, Malavika and Avasarala, the cast includes Megha Chowdhury, Ashok Kumar, Abhishek Maharshi, Sri Vidya, Varanasi Soumya Chalamcharla, Harini Rao, Arjun Prasad and others.
