Can We Expect YS Viveka Case Getting Cracked Soon?
In a development that hint that the investigation in YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case can be finished at the earliest, the judge asked what issues the accused in the case have with Dastagiri turning approval as it only helps the case in getting cracked.
Shiva Shankar Reddy and Uma Shankar Reddy who are believed to be the accused in the case moved the court and raised objections over Dastagiri turning approval. However, the justice hearing the petition dismissed the petitions saying that they hold no merit to get entertained.
Dastagiri turning approver and revealing more details is the big breakthrough in the case and that helped the investigation officers in unearthing new details. With the court saying no to the petitions, the investigation officers can now continue their investigation and we might even get the CBI cracking the case.
Earlier, the bail petition filed by the accused was dismissed by the court and the judge said that the petitions cannot be allowed. Now other petitions were dismissed and this gave hope that the case might get cracked.
On the other hand, YS Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter Sunitha moved the Supreme Court seeking the transfer of the case from Andhra Pradesh to other states the case is not seeing any big developments.
Earlier it was reported that the CBI officials were reportedly threatened by the accused and cases were also filed against them. If the case gets moved then the CBI officials will get a free hand and we might see the main accused getting arrested.
How An Affidavit Revealed Details of Ex CM’s Second Marriage?
Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mulayam Singh Yadav is now more as he breathed his last earlier today. He also served as the Defense Minister in the past. Whenever his topic comes usually his work-related things on the achievements he made in politics pop up.
But his personal life also has some interesting issues. Earlier he and his son Akhilesh Yadav had an alleged fight a few years back before the 2017 election. In the elections, the Samajwadi Party could not make it to power. Later the issues between the son and father were sorted out.
Mulayam Singh Yadav is not only a good politician, but he also managed his personal life. No one knew about his second marriage until he disclosed it in a petition filed with the Supreme Court. Before the elections, he shared the details with the Court.
Mulayam Singh tied the knot with Sadhana Gupta in 2003. Interestingly, it was a second marriage for both. Sadhana Gupta was a divorcee when he met Yadav. It is said that Sadhana Gupta took good care of Mulayam Singh’s mother. This made Mulayam Singh fall head over heels for Sadhana Gupta.
Despite having a big age group of around twenty years, they both got married and had a son together. Their son was named Prateek Yadav. Sadhana passed away earlier this year, unfortunately.
Before he disclosed the details of his second wife in the Supreme Court, no one knew about that. Though the family had some internal issues, the news did not come out until he announced the same.
Is ‘Brahmastra’ A Hit Or A Flop?
‘Brahmastra’ was a film which released in the middle of heavy criticism and boycott campaigns. Many said that the trailer was not up to the expected level and the graphics were too artificial. Many speculated the film to not get good openings and trolled it heavily. But the aggressive promotions of the team made the film get tremendous openings. ‘Brahmastra’ got 75 crores on the first day of its release. The movie registered good numbers at the end of its first week as it crossed the 200 crore mark quite easily.
But the film’s collections dropped drastically ever since and it failed to pick up. The box office run of ‘Brahmastra’ is all set to end in the next few days and sources say that it collected 300 crores all over the world while it grossed 400 crores all over. The producers of this movie did not opt for their own release and sold it for third parties which made it a safe venture for them. But the buyers are reportedly going to end up with huge losses.
Apparently, the movie was sold for 650+ crores all over the globe and it managed to recover only half of its money. The makers are planning a second part already and are claiming that ‘Brahmastra part One: Shiva’ is a good hit but the numbers prove otherwise.
Ranbir and Alia Bhatt are the hero and heroine in this project while Big B Amitabh Bachchan, King Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and others played key roles. Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan gave a special appearance in this high-budget supernatural drama. Produced jointly by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Star Light Pictures, this grand project is an adventure film with a lot of supernatural elements inspired by the Hindu gods. ‘Baahubali’ and ‘RRR’ director SS Rajamouli presented this film in South India.
Vijay Finally Opens Up About ‘Liger’!
If there is one film that disappointed the audience beyond their imaginations, it is definitely Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Liger’. This Puri Jagannadh’s directorial was promoted very heavily before the release and the team looked very confident which made the expectations rise. But the film bagged negative talk right from the premieres and failed to impress the audience at any point. No one could believe that a highly talented duo like Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda could come up with such a lackluster film.
He opened up about ‘Liger’ on the SIIMA stage as he thanked everyone for the Youth Icon award. He added, “Congratulations to everyone who got the award on this stage. You have taken the industry a step forward with your brilliant films. I tried to do the same recently and worked very hard but it was not enough. We all have good and bad days. Despite all the odds, we have to finish what we started. Frankly, I thought of not coming to the event but decided to arrive as I wanted to make a promise. I will work harder to entertain my fans, family and friends.”
Apart from Vijay Deverakonda, the cast of ‘Liger’ includes Ananya Pandey, Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey, Getup Srinu and others. Vishnu Sarma is the cinematographer, while Kecha from Thailand is the stunt director. Junaid Siddiqui is the editor for ‘Liger’ which is written and directed by Puri Jagannadh.
Ananya Pandey is the heroine in this film. Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta together have bankrolled the film on a grand scale. Mike Tyson is also present in the climax of this film.
US asks citizens to be cautious on travelling to northern Telangana
HYDERABAD: The United States state department has issued an advisory to its citizens against travel to northern Telangana and several other states in the country. While it mentions Maoist activities, the ‘Do Not Travel’ advisory for central and east India, gains importance in view of the recent bust of a terror module linked to the Pakistan-based Laskhar-e-Tayyaba by the Hyderabad city police.
The state department, however, reduced the India Travel Advisory level to 2 on a scale of one to 4 with the latter being the highest.
The terror module involved three Hyderabad natives, who were allegedly in touch with their ISI handlers based in Pakistan. As they were planning to execute ‘lone wolf’ attacks on large groups, public places and vital installations using explosives. A high alert had been sounded to track their contacts in Hyderabad and other parts of the country.
Police claimed that though a major attack was averted, the vigil on the arrested trio’s contacts and associates would continue to prevent any trouble.
Senior police officials said that it was a routine advisory of caution and there is nothing to panic about at the moment.
The US advisory said that Maoist extremist groups, or “Naxalites” were active in a large swathe of India from eastern Maharashtra and northern Telangana through western West Bengal, particularly in rural parts of Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand and on the borders of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, and Odisha.
The Naxalites have conducted frequent terrorist attacks on local police, paramilitary forces and government officials, added the advisory.
The US government has limited ability to provide emergency services to US citizens in rural areas from eastern Maharashtra and northern Telangana through western West Bengal. Due to the fluid nature of the threat, all US government travellers to states with Naxalite activity must receive special authorization from the US consulate responsible for the area to be visited, the advisory said. US officials travelling only to the capital cities in these states do not need prior authorisation, it said.
It advised against travel to Jammu and Kashmir due to terrorism and civil unrest and to within 10 km of the India-Pakistan border due to the potential for armed conflict.
According to the travel advisory, “Indian authorities report rape is one of the fastest growing crimes in India. Violent crime, such as sexual assault, has occurred at tourist sites and in other locations.”
The advisory said, “Terrorists may attack with little or no warning, targeting tourist locations, transportation hubs, markets/shopping malls, and government facilities.”
Why Govt Wants Explanation From Star Couple On Twins?
People are talking more about surrogacy after a star couple announced they were blessed with twins. The couple announced the news the other day on social media. The couple welcoming twins less than five months after marriage triggered a lot of questions and doubts among people. A few celebrities also raised the same doubt.
Lady Superstar Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan tied the knot in June this year and cut to five months, the couple welcomed twins. Many felt that the babies might have been conceived through surrogacy. If this is true there are a few guidelines that have to be followed in India.
Hinting that the couple might land in a big issue, the Tamil Nadu government said that a detailed inquiry would be called into the issue and the Directorate of Medical Services was asked to take care of the investigation into the sensitive matter.
“The surrogacy itself is subjected to a lot of debates. But, the law allows individuals to involve in surrogacy if they are above 21 years and below 36 years of age, with the approval of the family,” Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian said speaking to the media.
The Surrogacy law in India says that commercial practice is banned and whoever gets involved in this can be slapped with a fine. Coming to altruistic surrogacy, the couple who wants to have a baby should be legally married. While females should be between 25-50 years, males should be between 26-55.
On top of this, either husband or wife should be declared infertile by the district medical board. The couple should not have kids. They should get orders from the district Magistrate for going for surrogacy. Not just that, the woman who is bearing the child should be given insurance for up to 16 months as a safety measure. If anyone fails to follow this, then they may have to face action under the law.

Can We Expect Another National Party From the Southern States?
Shining in national politics is not that easy and that’s the reason why the parties from the northern states shine there. But the trend is changing now and a few regional parties left a mark. Earlier, Telugu Desam Party brought all the opposition under one roof against the grand old Congress.
Taking forward the trend, Telangana Chief Minister KCR announced national party entry. For this, his TRS was named BRS. The party is confident that the Election Commission of India would say yes to the proposal. TRS wants to spread its wings in other states and it is hatching plans to try its luck in Gujarat first.
Before KCR’s BRS could create any magic at the national level, we can see another big party joining the big arena. The ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu might also try its luck at the national level. Party chief Stalin expressed confidence that the party might become an important force in Indian politics. He said this at a party meeting.
Looking at the possibilities, the leaders who want to shine in national politics have to speak in Hindi to cater to the larger voters. KCR did the same when he went to Maharashtra and Bihar. He addressed the media in Bihar in Hindi.
We cannot expect someone from Tamil Nadu to speak in Hindi given the anti-image they have of Hindi. An MP from Tamil Nadu lashed out at the media for asking her to speak in Hindi as he is a Parliamentarian. The film stars in Tamil Nadu took part in the protest by wearing T-shirts that says, they don’t know Hindi.
Moreover, the parties are trying to woo Hindu voters by visiting shrines and temples. Who would have expected that Mamata Banerjee, Akhilesh Yadav, and Rahul Gandhi would visit the temples? The rise of the BJP forced the other leaders to do so.
On the flip side, the parties with the highest MP seats can be deciding factors at the national level. DMK has over 38 MP seats and it can be a big force for the opposition parties to take on the mighty BJP in the next Lok Sabha polls. The MP seats might come in handy.
TRS workers’ over enthusiasm turns into embarrassment for MLA
TRS workers and activists’ overkill has proved to be a major embarrassment to young TRS MLA from Yellandu Haripriya Nayak. Young Haripriya, who married after she became an MLA, delivered a baby boy recently. Her supporters turned it into a huge celebration by putting up huge congratulatory hoardings across Bhadradri Kothagudem constituency.
Nothing wrong in it. Their leader and they adore her. But, the problem is that the TRS workers wanted to use this opportunity to praise the TRS government. They said that the condition of the government hospitals has improved so much in Telangana state that the MLA had her delivery in a government hospital.
But the fact is that she had delivered the baby on Dasara Day in a private nursing home called Rao Nursing Home in Yellandu. This is known to everyone in Yellandu. So, when the TRS wanted to project it as a delivery in a government hospital, the locals began laughing at it. The political opponents began trolling the TRS and the MLA.
Many people began to post pics and details about the hospital and gave details of the gynaecologist who supervised the delivery. While MLA Haripriya Naik cannot be blamed for what her over-enthusiastic party supporters did in their eagerness to score marks from the party’s top leadership. Now, the whole fiasco has shown the TRS in poor light.
What Will Koratala Siva’s Response Be?
For people who are unaware, Megastar Chiranjeevi recently gave an interview to the popular North Indian media channel ‘Film Companion’ prior to the release of his ‘Godfather’. Apart from reminiscing about all the highs and lows, he talked about his last film ‘Acharya’ which ended up as a disaster. He said, “The failure of ‘Acharya’ did not make me depressed. We did what the director asked us to do.”
These words by Megastar are going viral and the senior hero is being trolled a lot. It is Chiru who sang laurels about Kortala Siva before the film’s release and blaming him after the disastrous result is getting adverse reactions from everyone. Not just in the interview but Chiru even during the success meet of ‘Godfather’, Chiru stated that film is a collective effort which requires everyone to give their best equally in order to get a hit. He added that the output will not be good if the director thinks he is supreme and knows more than everyone including actors, technicians and writers. He stated that it is not a good sign of a director when he doesn’t like an actor getting involved in the creative side of filmmaking.
People are implying that he has aimed all of these comments at Koratala Siva. They are asking the veteran actor to stop taking digs at the star director and move on as the filmmaker endured a lot of issues already. We all know that Koratala is a dignified man who doesn’t take potshots at people and he even did not make angry comments on Boyapati Seenu when the ‘Mirchi’ director talked about his issues with Boyapati during the early days. He became successful before talking about Boyapati and many claim that he is going to do the same now. The star writer-director may talk about ‘Acharya’ and Megastar’s comments once #NTR30 is ready and manages to become successful. Let us wait and see what happens then.
