Allari Naresh reporting for election duty on this date
Talented actor Allari Naresh, who scored a big hit with Naandhi, is now coming up with another unique story, titled ‘Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam’. Marked as 59th film in his career, Naresh plays a sincere government teacher who goes to Maredumilli to make the locals cast their votes in elections.
The latest update is that Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam has locked a date for its theatrical release. The AR Mohan directorial will hit the screens on 11th November 2022. Announcing the same, the makers have unveiled a new poster, which sees the actor heading into the village with his team along with the cops.
Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam is produced by Hasya Movies and Zee Studios. Anandhi is playing the female lead, while Vennela Kishore, Praveen and Chammak Chandra, among others, will be seen in prominent roles. Abburi Ravi penned the dialogues, while Sri Charan Pakala composed the music for the flick.
Tension in Nizamabad: MLA to be questioned by ED over money-laundering?
The Enforcement Directorate’s serious questioning of Ibrahimpatnam’s TRS MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy is creating ripples in the ruling TRS in Telangana. Reddy was questioned for long hours over his visits abroad, where he is said to have indulged in a casino and allegedly took part in money laundering. Sources say that another MLA from Nizamabad too could be questioned soon.
This MLA in question from Nizamabad is said to have accompanied Kishan Reddy abroad and is said to have played a role in money laundering. He and the Ibrahimpatnam MLA were taken abroad by Casino-fame Praveen Chikoti. Several other politicians and senior officials were reportedly sent abroad by Praveen Chikoti.
The ED sleuths believe that both Nizamabad district’s MLA and Ibrahimpatnam MLA have transferred funds for gambling via the hawala route. They have also reportedly flouted the FEMA rules that govern cross-country money transfer.
Sources also say that the MLA from the undivided Nizamabad also accompanied a team of real estate biggies on their foreign joints. During these tours, they were believed to have resorted to gambling and betting. Hence, the Enforcement Directorate could question this MLA also, sources, who wished to remain anonymous, revealed.
Meanwhile, the MLA from Nizamabad is also said to have close connections with businessmen and entrepreneurs who have been questioned in the Delhi liquor scam. The scam has also pointed accusing fingers at both Rajya Sabha MP Joginpally Santosh Kumar and MLC Kavitha Kalwakuntla, both of whom are part of KCR’s family.
Why Jagan has special plans for Godavari districts?
It appears AP Chief Minister and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is laying special focus on winning both the Godavari districts in the upcoming 2023 elections. He is said to be planning to ensure that the party wins all the seats in the two districts. He is also said to be contemplating to announce the candidates well in advance so that they get adequate time to build their campaign.
In all the constituencies of the two districts he is said to be taking stock of the situation on various issues, including the implementation of the welfare schemes, disbursal of welfare benefits and other schemes. He is also said to be putting special focus on the four seats in East Godavari that the party could not win in the 2019 assembly elections.
The party had lost the two seats in Rajahmundry city and Mandapeta. These constituencies were won by TDP candidates Butchaiah Chowdary, Adireddy Bhavani and Vegulla Jogeswara Rao. He has given the responsibility of Rajahmundry to sitting YSRCP MP Margani Bharat. Similarly, four-time MLA from Ramachandrapuram Thota Trimurthulu has been given the responsibility of Mandapeta.
Sources say that YS Jagan is likely to stick to the social engineering principle that gave him a stupendous success in the 2019 elections. He is said to be planning for a situation where both the TDP and the Jana Sena could team up against the YSRCP. He is said to be planning some more surprise moves for the twin Godavari districts.

It appears like the time of Rahul Gandhi starting Bharat Jodo is not right. Forget about bringing the nation together, the grand old Congress party is not even able to stop the legislators from leaving the party and joining the saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party.

The party faced another big blow in Himachal Pradesh. With just two months left for the general elections, Congress now stands less chance of winning the polls. Though Puri hasn’t delivered many hits in recent times, his movies always have something special in them and that is what went missing in ‘Liger’. His own fans are so disappointed with the director’s work in this film.

‘Godfather’ Trailer Talk: A Powerful Political Thriller On The Way!
The much-awaited theatrical trailer of ‘Godfather’ is finally here. As announced, it was released on time and it definitely raises the expectations. The trailer is well-packaged with drama, action, thrills and hero elevation moments. It gives a feeling that ‘Godfather’ is going to be a more commercialized version of ‘Lucifer’.
The trailer starts off with the current Chief Minister dying and political turmoil starting over who wants to take the spot next. With Puri Jagannadh’s voiceover, it looks quite dramatic and Megastar makes a stellar entry. He is looking badass in the trailer with the mature yet stylish look. He mouths some powerful dialogues. Nayanthara makes her presence felt too while Satyadev seems to have gotten a meaty role. While the dramatic moments raise the expectations, the graph of the trailer goes a bit down as soon as Salman Khan enters the frame.
The focus starts shifting towards him rather than the actual story. The combination shots and action part during the latter portions of the trailer seems like the makers catered to the fans of both stars rather than staying true to the script. It may work in theatres and end up bringing the success but those who watched the original might have a different view.
The visuals look fantastic and the music by Thaman is quite pulsating. Mohan Raja seems to have handled this remake well and delivered a commercial entertainer instead of a political drama. Dialogues by Lakshmi Bhupala are decent and Nirav Shah’s camera work is great. Ram Charan, RB Choudary and NV Prasad are the producers while Suresh Selvarajan is the production designer. The movie is hitting the screens on 5th October. With a well-packaged trailer, the expectations are quite high on this project and let us see if ‘Godfather’ becomes successful or not.
