Vijay’s Jana Nayagan Audio Launch Set in Kuala Lumpur

Vijay is currently managing two major commitments—his political ambitions with the Tamil Nadu political party TVK, and his cinematic journey, with his highly anticipated film Jana Nayagan slated for release this Sankranthi.
The latest buzz revolves around the audio launch of Jana Nayagan, which is set to take place soon. Interestingly, the event will not be held in India; the organisers have finalised Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as the venue for the grand celebration.
Reports suggest that Malaysian authorities have made it clear that the event must remain strictly entertainment-focused. The local police commissioner confirmed that permission has been granted solely for the audio launch and stressed that no political activity should take place. This ensures that Vijay is unlikely to address any political matters during the event, keeping the spotlight entirely on his upcoming film.
The audio launch is expected to be a massive affair, with over 90,000 fans anticipated to attend. The event will feature the presence of Thalapathy Vijay, music composer Anirudh, and the entire cast and crew, promising an unforgettable celebration ahead of the film’s Sankranthi release.

Pawan Kalyan Returns to Ippatam, Keeps Promise to Demolition Victim

Back in 2022, when the opposition parties were struggling to make an impact, Ippatam village became a symbol of political high-handedness after it hosted a Jana Sena Foundation event. In the aftermath, the then YSRCP government demolished several houses in the village in the name of road widening, leaving many families devastated.
The incident turned out to be a major turning point in Andhra Pradesh politics. Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s dramatic over-the-car visit to Ippatam captured national attention and resulted in an iconic image that came to define the party’s resistance movement.
Now, with Pawan Kalyan in power as Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister, he returned to Ippatam in what can be described as an emotional homecoming. The visit carried special significance, as he revisited the village that had ignited a historic fightback for Jana Sena.
A particularly touching moment unfolded when Pawan Kalyan visited the home of Nageswaramma, one of the victims of the house demolitions. During the 2022 agitation, she had affectionately referred to him as her son. True to his earlier promise, Pawan Kalyan personally met her and announced that he would provide ₹5,000 every month from his own salary as financial assistance to her family. He also handed over cash on the spot and requested that it be used for the children’s education.
Moved by the gesture, the elderly woman blessed Pawan Kalyan wholeheartedly and expressed her wish that he would one day become the Chief Minister and serve multiple terms.
Pawan Kalyan’s return to Ippatam thus marked not just a political visit, but a deeply symbolic moment—reconnecting him to the incident that shaped his political resolve and reaffirmed his bond with the people who stood by him during one of Jana Sena’s most defining struggles.

Allu Arjun and Trivikram to Reunite for Mega Mythological Epic

If industry rumors are to be believed, Icon Star Allu Arjun is set to reunite with acclaimed filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas for a spectacular mythological epic, marking their fourth collaboration. The ambitious project is said to be based on a powerful script originally conceived with Allu Arjun in mind, sparking immense excitement among fans and the film fraternity alike.
Allu Arjun and Trivikram share an exceptional creative legacy, having delivered multiple blockbuster films together. Their previous collaboration, Ala Vaikunthapurramulo, broke numerous box office records across South India and emerged as one of the most celebrated films of its time.
According to industry sources, the upcoming film will be mounted on an unprecedented scale, with a budget reportedly exceeding ₹1000 crores, making it one of the most ambitious mythological films in Indian cinema. The project is expected to combine powerful storytelling with grand visuals and cutting-edge technology, aiming to redefine the mythological genre for both pan-Indian and global audiences.
An official announcement is expected in the coming weeks, with filming scheduled to begin in February 2027. Anticipation is already at an all-time high, as this landmark collaboration promises to set new benchmarks in Indian cinema.
This will be Allu Arjun’s third major project in the pipeline. He is also working on two other high-profile films, including a project with director Atlee, tentatively titled AA22 X A6. This film has been one of the most eagerly awaited in the industry. In June, the makers announced actress Deepika Padukone as part of the cast. Sun Pictures, producing the film, had released a video showing Atlee narrating the script to Deepika and glimpses of her motion capture portions.
The visuals suggested that Deepika would portray a queen, complete with horse-riding and sword-wielding sequences. The film, which is expected to be unlike anything ever attempted before, will reportedly involve world-class experts in visual effects and production design to create a truly cinematic spectacle.
Naidu Unhappy with Narayana’s Handling of Amaravati Issue

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is reportedly unhappy with the way State Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P. Narayana is handling the Amaravati capital issue.
According to sources, Naidu received intelligence reports suggesting that Narayana’s perceived indifferent approach toward the problems of Amaravati farmers could have political repercussions. Naidu had placed considerable trust in Narayana during the initial design of Amaravati’s masterplan in his previous term. Accordingly, when Naidu returned to power in June 2024, he reinstated Narayana in the cabinet with the same municipal administration and urban development portfolio.
However, recent developments indicate that Naidu’s strategy may not have worked as intended. Narayana’s management of the second phase of land pooling, particularly his engagement with farmers who had already surrendered land during the first phase, has drawn criticism. Many farmers who contributed land to the capital project continue to face unresolved issues regarding compensation, infrastructure, and livelihood assurances. The government’s move to initiate a second phase of land pooling without fully addressing these grievances reportedly triggered resentment and affected the party’s image.
Recognizing the potential political fallout, Naidu intervened by forming a committee consisting of Union Minister Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, Narayana, and local MLA T. Sravan Kumar to collectively oversee Amaravati-related matters. This move marked a shift from Narayana’s earlier solo handling of the issue.
Since the formation of the committee, decisions regarding Amaravati have reportedly gained momentum, with multiple stakeholders now involved in negotiations with farmers. Party insiders also suggest that Naidu believes Narayana’s current approach differs from his earlier style, prompting closer monitoring.
With Amaravati remaining a politically sensitive and emotionally charged issue, leaders warn that any missteps could have significant consequences for the party.
Akshaye Khanna May Exit Drishyam 3 Amid Talks With Makers

Akshaye Khanna is currently basking in the success of Durandhar, a film that has firmly put him back in the spotlight. The actor has received widespread appreciation for his powerful screen presence and impactful performance, making the film one of the notable successes of his career in recent times.
Following this renewed success, Akshaye Khanna is expected to attract more interesting opportunities. However, reports have emerged suggesting that the actor may have walked out of his upcoming project, Drishyam 3.
According to industry buzz, Akshaye Khanna allegedly revised his remuneration for Drishyam 3, a move that reportedly did not go down well with the production house. Akshaye played a crucial role in Drishyam 2, and his character was expected to return in the third installment as well. The Hindi Drishyam franchise stars Ajay Devgn and Tabu in the lead roles.
There are also speculations that creative differences between Akshaye Khanna and the makers could have contributed to his reported exit from the project. However, on the other hand, some reports suggest that the actor is still in discussions with the makers to reach an amicable solution and move forward with the film.
Meanwhile, Drishyam 3 is being made simultaneously in Malayalam, with the original version expected to release first. The Hindi version of the film is slated to hit theatres on October 2, 2026.
