Breaking: CBI Court refuses to cancel bail of Jagan & Vijayasai

The CBI court has given its final verdict on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s bail cancellation petition. After postponing many times, the court has finally announced the verdict on September 15 as the arguments also ended on a petition seeking revocation of MP Vijayasai Reddy’s bail.

Giving a much-needed relief to YS Jagan and Vijayasai Reddy, the court has refused to cancel the bail and squashed the petition filed by Narsapur MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju.

The MP sought cancellation of bail granted to the AP Chief Minister in a disproportionate assets case against him, alleging the latter had violated the bail conditions.

The Narsapur MP mentioned in his petition that Jagan is trying to influence the witnesses in the case. He also cited the CM’s non-appearance before the court and seeking exemptions as violations of bail conditions. However, the CBI court has taken none of Raju’s claims into consideration, and it refused to revoke the bail given to both the YSRCP leaders. Meanwhile, Mr Raju is planning to approach a higher court in this regard.

On the other side, the Telangana high court on Wednesday dismissed a petition of Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju requesting for transfer of Jagan Reddy’s bail cancellation case from the CBI special court to another criminal court.

Vijay Deverakonda resumes Liger shoot in Goa

The shooting of Vijay Deverakonda’s highly anticipated actioner ‘Liger’ has resumed today in Goa. The first pan-India film of the Arjun Reddy actor kick-started its new schedule in high octane action sequences, and some important scenes will be canned.

A new poster from Liger has also been released where we can see Vijay Deverakonda as an MMA fighter getting ready to fight. He is seen resting in a caged MMA ring. The actor underwent a complete makeover, and he took training in mixed martial arts for this sports action thriller.

Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey is playing the female lead. Bankrolled by Puri Connects and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Liger is being made on a grand scale without compromising on budget. The film will have a simultaneous release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

The film has cinematography handled by Vishnu Sarma, while Kecha from Thailand is the stunt director. Ramya Krishnan and Ronit Roy are roped in to play prominent roles in Liger.

KARIMNAGAR: Minister for Civil Supplies Gangula Kamalakar on Tuesday requested Union Minister G Kishan Reddy and State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar to mount pressure on the Union government to procure paddy from the State, in the wake of the Central government’s decision against procuring paddy beyond the allocated quota.

Speaking to mediapersons along with Karimnagar Mayor Y Sunil Rao at his camp office, Kamalakar alleged the Centre was showing a bias against Telangana. “In this Vaanakalam (Kharif) season, the paddy yield is expected to be 1.45 crore MTs. The Central government is saying that they will only procure 60 lakh MTs. As per the constitution and the MoU signed on the matter, all paddy should be purchased by the Centre. If the Centre refuses to procure boiled rice, where is it to be stored?” he asked.

Kamalakar recalled that recently, he had called on Union Minister for Food and Public Distribution Piyush Goyal, and had told him that expenditure on agriculture should be treated as a social responsibility. The Minister lamented that even after 70 years of the country gaining Independence, farmers were unable to cultivate their lands completely. He said after the Kaleshwaram project was implemented, cultivation had improved and farmer suicides had come down in Telangana, and the credit for it went to CM K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Recalling the Central government’s statement refusing procurement, Kamalakar said that the Centre taking such a stand after the farmers had already planted paddy was not correct.He demanded that the Centre should follow policies implemented during former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s regime, when even though the Centre had surplus rice, it still procured rice from the States.

KCR pushing farmers to the brink: Congress

HYDERABAD: Alleging that the TRS government was pushing the farmers to the brink, the Congress on Tuesday said that the ryots were now in a state of confusion over paddy cultivation. TPCC Campaign Committee Chairman Madhu Yaskhi said despite Telangana being second in farmers’ suicides, the State government was causing more distress to paddy farmers.

“Following his visit to Delhi, the Chief Minister changed his words. What is the use of projects which were constructed by spending lakhs of crores if paddy cultivation is a no-no? It seems like a ploy by KCR and PM Modi to help corporate companies in the wake of new farm laws,” he said

Stage Set For NTR30’s Commencement

The stage is set for the commencement of the much-awaited biggie, NTR30, which marks the coming together of Jr NTR and Koratala Siva. The makers are planning to launch the NTR starrer in October and drop more official details about the project. The makers are aware of the fact that NTR’s fans have been eagerly waiting for the commencement of NTR30 for a long time now. This is just about the right time to unveil more updates about the project. Now that NTR is done with his magnum opus project, RRR, which is being helmed by Rajamouli, the Nandamuri hero is all set to start working on NTR30. The only thing thing that is due now is Koratala Siva wrapping up Acharya. NTR30 will hit the floors soon after Koratala Siva is done with Acharya.

The makers of NTR30 are planning to launch the project in the early half of this October and they intend to commence the shoot as early as this November. The unit is waiting for Koratala Siva to complete Acharya before they take the project onto the floors. Jr NTR is currently occupied with his small screen infotainment show Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu and he has already allotted his dates for NTR30. Koratala Siva too is eager to take the NTR starrer onto the floors.

The makers of NTR30 are currently busy finalizing the principal cast and crew for the project. They have already roped in Anirudh Ravichander to compose the music for the film. Also, there are rumors that the makers are in the final round of talks with ace cinematographer, Ratnavelu. The final call on the same will be taken based on Ratnavelu’s availability. As things stand, he is the front runner to handle the cinematography for the Jr NTR starrer.

Also, speculations are rife that Bollywood beauty Alia Bhatt is in talks for the female lead role in the film. If this turns to reality, the box office prospects of NTR30 will be boosted further, given Alia’s popularity and the reach she enjoys in the Northern circuit. వైఎస్ జగన్ మోహన్ రెడ్డి, విజయసాయిరెడ్డిల బెయిల్ రద్దు కోరుతూ రఘురామ, సీబీఐ కోర్టును కొన్నాళ్ళ క్రితం ఆశ్రయించిన విషయం విదితమే. కేసు విచారణ సందర్భంగా సీబీఐ చేతులెత్తేసింది. ‘కోర్టు విచక్షణ మేరకు నిర్ణయం తీసుకోండి..’ అని సీబీఐ, కోర్టుకి తెలిపింది. అప్పుడే ఈ కేసు విషయమై రఘురామ పలు అనుమానాలు వ్యక్తం చేశారు.

కాగా, విచారణ పూర్తి చేసిన న్యాయస్థానం, తీర్పు వెల్లడిపై కొంత గ్యాప్ తీసుకోవడం, ఇంతలోనే సాక్షి మీడియా, ‘రఘురామ పిటిషన్ కొట్టివేత.. జగన్, విజయసాయి బెయిల్ రద్దు విషయంలో రఘురామకి షాక్..’ అంటూ ప్రచారం చేసిందో.. ఆ తర్వాత రఘురామ అలర్ట్ అయ్యారు.

సీబీఐ కోర్టు తీర్పు వెలువరించకుండా చూడాలనీ, కేసు విచారణను మరో బెంచ్‌కి బదిలీ చేయాలని కోరుతూ రఘురామ హైకోర్టును ఆశ్రయించారు. కానీ, రఘురామకి హైకోర్టులో ఆశించిన శుభవార్త అందలేదు. రఘురామ పిటిషన్‌ని హైకోర్టు తోసిపుచ్చింది. దాంతో, సీబీఐ కోర్టు.. తీర్పు వెల్లడించడానికి మార్గం సుగమం అయ్యింది. జగన్ సహా విజయసాయిరెడ్డి బెయిల్ రద్దుపై రఘురామ దాఖలు చేసిన పిటిషన్లను సీబీఐ కోర్టు కొట్టివేస్తూ తీర్పు వెల్లడించింది. ఈ తీర్పు ఊహించినదేననీ, తాను ఈ విషయమై హైకోర్టును ఆశ్రయిస్తానని రఘురామ ఓ చానల్ ఇంటర్వ్యూలో వెల్లడించారు.

ఒకవేళ హైకోర్టులో కూడా తీర్పు తనకు అనుకూలంగా రాని పక్షంలో సుప్రీంకోర్టు తలుపు తడతానని రఘురామ చెప్పడం కొసమెరుపు. రాజకీయంగా తనను వేధింపులకు గురిచేయడం, బెయిల్ షరతుల్ని ఉల్లంఘించడం.. ఇన్ని చేస్తున్నా.. ఈ వివరాలు న్యాయ వ్యవస్థ ముందుంచినా, జగన్ అలాగే విజయసాయిరెడ్డి బెయిల్ ఎందుకు రద్దవలేదో తనకు అర్థం కావడంలేదని అంటున్నారు రఘురామ.

Sajjanar alerts RTC employees on Singareni case accused details

As a serious example of how society is slowly becoming dangerous for the girls, a 6-year-old girl in Singareni Colony in Hyderabad’s Saidabad was allegedly raped and murder earlier last week. The incident resulted in widespread protests in the Saidabad area.

As the accused is still on a run, the controversy and protests surrounding the issue are intensifying. Celebrities are also reacting to the issue and demanding a serious punishment for the accused.

To help in arresting the accused in the case, serving Managing Director of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation(TSRTC) MD Sajjanar had alerted the RTC staff to look for the accused as there is a chance of him sleeping at the bus stops. Providing two phone numbers, Sajjanar urged the employees to give any information they get on the accused.

He had ordered that the picture of the accused released by the cops should be at every bus stand and bus. RTC Bus drivers, conductors should be careful and watch for the accused, if anything suspicious comes to their notice, they should immediately inform the local police, Sajjanar said.

The other day, Hyderabad Commissioner of Police Anjani Kumar held a press conference on the horrific incident and said, special teams were constituted to nab the accused. A picture of the accused was also released by the cops. Besides this, a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh was also announced.

As per the information shared by the cops, the accused is 30 years old and his height is around 5.9 feet. The accused has long hair and he had tattoos on both hands. Accused identified as Raju is said to have a habit of spelling at the bus stands.

“Despite serious efforts, the accused Pallakonda Raju (30) who is wanted in a case of rape and murder of a 6-year-old girl in the limits Saidabad Police Station (East Zone) of Hyderabad city is still at large,” the cops said in the poster.

The heinous crime was reported on Thursday in Hyderabad. The accused Raju, the neighbor of the victim, took the 6-year-old to his house and allegedly raped and murdered her. Following the incident, the cops launched a search operation to arrest the accused.

It is known that a Tollywood delegation will be meeting with Andhra Pradesh chief minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on the 20th of this month. Jagan has already allotted his appointment to the Tollywood delegation. But it is still unclear how many representatives of Tollywood will be allowed to meet with Jagan on the above-mentioned date. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi, who will be spearheading the Tollywood delegation has started inviting several Tollywood top stars for the meeting. He has apparently come in touch with top stars like Allu Arjun, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, and others. Chiranjeevi has invited these bigwigs to the meeting with YS Jagan which is scheduled to take place on the 20th of this month.

It is heard that the likes of Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Jr NTR, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, and others have agreed to take part in the meeting. If Jagan permits as many people to take part in the meeting, we can expect it to be a star-studded affair as it will be graced by several top tier Tollywood superstars. Apart from Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna, who will obviously be attending the event, we can expect the younger generation of Tollywood stars to also attend the meeting.

It is essential that the government of Andhra Pradesh permits flexible ticket pricing if big-ticket Telugu films are to release in theatres and make sizable profits. That is the reason why top stars are ready and eager to take part in the meeting with Jagan. These actors will be requesting Jagan to take a favourable decision regarding the ticket pricing. As for Jagan, he is planning to discuss the government of Andhra Pradesh’s online cinema ticketing portal. He is persistent in setting the online ticketing proposal in motion at the earliest. The makers of Sai Dharam Tej-starrer, Republic, have announced that the film will hit screens on October 1. But, unfortunately, the young actor met with an accident and he is currently under medical observation in Apollo hospitals, Hyderabad.

Given his condition, the makers of ‘Republic’ are said to be in confusion over releasing the film on the previously announced date. It is heard that the team is thinking to postpone the release as it would not be the right thing to do when the lead actor is still lying on the hospital bed. However, Republic has gained a terrific buzz among the moviegoers, with its promos and posters.

Meanwhile, the movie team is now praying for a speedy recovery of the Mega hero. Zee Group has acquired all rights to Republic.

ఇక టాస్క్‌ కాకుండా తాజా ఎపిసోడ్‌ లో అందరి దృష్టిని ఆకర్షించిన విషయం గుంట నక్క. క్రితం ఎపిసోడ్‌ లో నటరాజ్ మాస్టర్‌ ఎలిమినేషన్ నామినేషన్ సమయంలో మాట్లాడుతూ మేక రూపంలో ఒక గుంట నక్క ఇంట్లోకి వచ్చింది. అది కొందరిని ప్రభావితం చేసి నాపైకి ఉసి గొల్పే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తోంది. దాన్ని నేను ఎదుర్కొంటాను అంటూ సినిమా డైలాగులు చెప్పాడు. నామినేషన్ పక్రియ పూర్తి అయిన తర్వాత రవి వెళ్లి అలా ఎందుకు అంటున్నారు. నాతోనే మీరు సరిగా ఉండటం లేదు. నన్ను అలా ఎందుకు అనుకుంటున్నారు అంటూ ప్రశ్నించాడు. అందుకు నటరాజ్‌ మాస్టర్ నుండి స్పందన లేదు. ఆ తర్వాత సన్నీ వెళ్లి ఎవరు ఆ గుంట నక్క అంటూ ప్రశ్నించగా వచ్చింది కదా.. గుమ్మడి కాయల దొంగ ఎవరు అంటే బుజాలు తడుముకున్నట్లుగా అంటూ రవినే గుంట నక్క అంటూ తేల్చి చెప్పాడు. మొత్తానికి గుంట నక్క అంటూ రవిని అనడం వల్ల నటరాజ్ మాస్టర్ పై కాస్త వ్యతిరేకత మొదలు అయినట్లుగా కనిపిస్తుంది.
