Prabhas Fans Criticize Ramajogayya Sastry Over ‘The Raja Saab’ Lyrics

Share

Lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry has faced severe criticism from Prabhas fans for the lyrics of the first single from the actor’s upcoming film The Raja Saab. Fans described the lines as amateurish and felt they fell short of the expectations set by a big-budget Prabhas project.

In response to the backlash, Ramajogayya tweeted: “Katha, sandarbham, director vision thaginattu paata untundhi. Prathi paata elevation ayinaa bore koduthundhi kadha. Adhe kaavaalante marosari raasukundhaam. Mana daggara leni saruka enti; mana darling kosamegaa.” The phrase “Mana daggara leni saruka enti” in particular drew ire, with many netizens interpreting it as arrogant.

Several fans expressed their displeasure online. Some commented, “Don’t overrate yourself. Learn to be humble. Your so-called ‘saruku’ is nothing compared to great poets like Seetharama Sastry, Veturi, and Chandrabose. Even newer lyricists are writing better than you.” Others wrote, “Elevation or feel-good, whatever the genre, lyrics must be catchy enough to sing along. If there’s another song, please write better lyrics this time,” and “Sirivennela Sitaramasastry garu wrote lines like ‘height enthuntaado kolavalani pisthe…’ and ‘mechanical lab lo metals ku rekulu…’. On the other side, you wrote ‘chalore chalore chal…’. There should be variation, guruji.” Some fans even asked bluntly, “Lyrics meeru raasaraa? Mi abbayi raasaraa? All experiments should be on us only aa?” while others criticised, “If a song gets praise, Ramajogayya takes credit. If it flops, he blames the director’s vision. A big escapist.”

This is not the first time Ramajogayya has been trolled. Previously, Mahesh Babu fans reacted angrily to a tweet that allegedly referred to fans as “dogs.” He also sparked controversy with remarks about Devara and Acharya, which some interpreted as jabs at the mega fan community.

Unlike previous incidents, this backlash is focused directly on his professional work as a lyricist. Fans feel that given the high expectations surrounding a Prabhas film, Ramajogayya must put in more effort and prove himself.

Kalvakuntla Kavitha Challenges BRS Leadership Amid Electoral Setbacks

Share

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) continues to navigate a turbulent political phase, marked by back-to-back electoral setbacks and rising internal friction. After losing power to the Congress in the 2023 Assembly elections and failing to secure even a single seat in the subsequent Lok Sabha polls, the party faced yet another blow with its defeat in the recent Jubilee Hills by-election.

While this string of losses has undoubtedly dented party morale, the bigger concern for the leadership is the sharp criticism coming from within—particularly from party president K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter and Telangana Jagruthi chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha.

In their attempts to counter Kavitha’s political re-emergence, several BRS leaders appear to have unintentionally amplified her influence. Their frequent remarks targeting her have, according to political observers, only strengthened her visibility and narrative.

The situation escalated after senior leader and former minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy made controversial comments, likening Kavitha to a “rotten brinjal” and using an offensive metaphor about something “bursting.” Kavitha responded with a sharp retort, warning that such remarks could “boomerang” and issuing what she termed a “mass warning.” Her assertive stance has put several BRS leaders on the defensive.

Adding to the tension, Kavitha has been strategically linking every attack against her to the faction associated with senior leader T. Harish Rao. This has placed Harish Rao and his supporters in a politically awkward position. Party insiders suggest that Kavitha’s long-term goal may be to corner Harish Rao, but her aggressive approach has left many within the party uneasy.

With the BRS already struggling to regain its footing, leaders fear that continued internal power struggles could further weaken the party at a critical juncture.

Revanth Reddy & Allu Arjun to Attend Akhanda 2 Pre-Release Event

Share

If industry buzz is anything to go by, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is likely to attend the pre-release event of Akhanda 2, headlined by Nandamuri Balakrishna. The grand celebration is scheduled to take place in Kukatpally on November 28.

Adding to the star power, Allu Arjun is also expected to grace the occasion, provided plans fall into place. The Stylish Star has kept a low profile at major events ever since the unfortunate stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre last year, after which he was briefly taken into custody before being released on bail.

Earlier this year, Allu Arjun received the Best Actor Gadar Award from CM Revanth Reddy for his impactful performance in Pushpa: The Rule. His powerful dialogue delivery from the film at the ceremony became a highlight. This weekend’s event will mark the first time in a while that the Chief Minister will share the stage with Allu Aravind’s second son.

Balakrishna and Allu Arjun previously entertained fans with their lively chemistry during a special screening of Unstoppable. Their playful banter went viral across social media platforms, with the episode recording impressive TRP ratings at the time.

Naveen Polishetty Turns Singer for Anaganaga Oka Raju

Share

Actor Naveen Polishetty, who stars opposite Meenakshi Chaudhary in director Vamsi’s upcoming romantic comedy Anaganaga Oka Raju, has taken on an exciting new role — that of a singer. The versatile actor is set to make his playback singing debut with the film’s first single, “Bhimvaram Balma.”

On Tuesday, Naveen shared a humorous announcement video on X, revealing his big step into singing. Posting the clip, he wrote:
“ANNAGANAGA OKA SINGER JAANEJIGARS. First song from #AnaganagaOkaRaju releasing on Nov 27. Sankranthiki pandaga ki dance stepulatho ready ga undandi. It’s time for #BhimvaramBalma.”
The clip confirms that the song will be unveiled on November 27, marking Naveen’s first-ever venture as a playback singer.

Anaganaga Oka Raju, produced by Sithara Entertainments, is set against a festive backdrop with Naveen portraying Raju — an overconfident yet charming bridegroom preparing for his wedding. The film promises a colourful mix of romance, humour, and celebration.

The project has been in the spotlight for quite some time, with multiple updates and changes along the way. While the initial teaser hinted at a 2025 release, the makers later announced that the film will now hit theatres on January 14, 2026, coinciding with the Sankranthi festival.

With its first single Bhimvaram Balma ready to set the festive mood, fans are eagerly looking forward to more glimpses from this vibrant rom-com.

Rakul Preet Opens Up on SPYder Failure Impact

Share

Sensational actress Rakul Preet Singh opened up in a recent interview about how the failure of SPYder left a personal impact on her. At the time, she was on cloud nine after bagging the opportunity to work alongside Mahesh Babu under the direction of AR Murugadoss. However, the film’s unexpected debacle at the box office came as a huge disappointment.

SPYder was heavily trolled, especially for its second-half proceedings. Rakul revealed that she had high expectations when she signed the project, but its failure made her realise that many things in cinema are beyond an actor’s control. She clarified that she doesn’t consider it her failure, but admitted that the film’s outcome did affect her emotionally.

Rakul added that the experience taught her an important lesson — that failure is an inevitable part of the journey.

“I am not someone who lets sadness consume me. I believe failures make us stronger and more aware. I asked myself how I could do better the next time. At the end of the day, all we can do is make films and move forward. Success is never in our hands. I learned to disconnect from the results. Even when a film doesn’t work, I celebrate myself because I know I gave my best,” she shared.

On the work front, Rakul Preet Singh will next be seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh Do.

NBK111 Grand Launch with Balakrishna–Gopichand Malineni Combo

Share

God of the Masses Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is gearing up for the release of Akhanda 2 on December 5th, is now joining hands once again with director Gopichand Malineni for their second outing. With both Balakrishna and Malineni riding high on consistent box-office success, expectations for this new project—officially titled NBK111—are sky-high.

The film was launched in Hyderabad with a grand and regal muhurtam ceremony. The event turned even more special with the presence of several distinguished guests. Andhra Pradesh Ministers Anagani Satya Prasad and Gottipati Ravi Kumar handed over the script to the team, while veteran director B. Gopal gave the ceremonial clap for the muhurtam shot. Balakrishna’s daughter Tejaswini switched on the camera, and the first take was initiated collectively by Boyapati Sreenu, Bobby, and Buchi Babu Sana, creating a powerhouse moment.

Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the prestigious Vriddhi Cinemas banner, NBK111 is set to be mounted on a massive scale with grand visuals and epic storytelling. The first-look poster features two fierce warriors—both portrayed by Balakrishna—standing side by side with swords drawn, ready for battle. A majestic circular emblem with ornamental gold detailing forms the backdrop, giving the film an ancient, powerful aura.

The historical drama stars Nayanthara as the female lead, marking her fourth collaboration with Balakrishna. The actor is expected to appear in a never-before-seen avatar, further fueling excitement among fans.

More updates and revelations about NBK111 are expected in the coming days, and expectations are already through the roof for this massive cinematic spectacle.

Andhra King Taluka Ready for Grand Release

Share

Ram Pothineni’s Andhra King Taluka is gearing up for a grand worldwide release tomorrow, with USA premieres rolling out today. Directed by Mahesh Babu P under the prestigious Mythri Movie Makers banner, the film is already buzzing with strong advance bookings—an early sign of solid audience curiosity.

At its core, the story revolves around three powerful emotional bonds, each designed to leave a lasting impression. One of the film’s biggest strengths is the protagonist’s deep love for cinema, a passion he inherits from his father. The early father–son moments are said to be heartwarming, setting an emotionally rich tone right from the start.

Ram’s chemistry with Bhagyashri Borse adds another refreshing layer. Her character not only loves him but practically worships him, and their relationship reportedly unfolds with charm and innocence. Director Mahesh Babu P is said to have treated their romantic arc with a unique touch, further enhanced by soulful songs that elevate the mood beautifully.

Another key highlight is Ram’s admiration for Superstar Surya, played by Upendra. The film explores the intriguing dynamic between a passionate fan and his idol, showcasing how far a devoted admirer will go to pull his beloved star out of his luxurious bubble for a heartfelt meeting.

Ram Pothineni’s performance is being touted as the film’s biggest asset. From an energetic son to a tender boyfriend to a hardcore movie buff, Ram is said to deliver one of his most immersive performances in recent times.

The climax, in particular, is reportedly emotional and impactful—something that’s expected to strike a strong chord with audiences and linger long after the film ends.

How Emojis Are Transforming Workplace Communication in India

Share

In today’s digitally driven workplaces, emojis have transformed from casual chat elements to powerful communication tools—particularly in India, where linguistic diversity and multigenerational workforces shape daily interactions. According to Himanshu Rajpal, Regional Sales Director at Salesforce India, emojis now serve as a vital extension of digital body language, helping teams convey tone, intent, and emotion in an era defined by remote collaboration.

Rajpal highlights that as workplaces shift toward asynchronous communication, emojis fill the gap left by facial expressions and vocal cues. They bring clarity, reduce message-related misunderstandings, and minimise the friction that often accompanies text-only interactions.

He notes that emojis also play a unique cultural role in India by bridging generational and hierarchical divides. In a traditionally polite and indirect communication landscape, emojis soften blunt messages and create approachable, inclusive interactions. Leaders using emojis for encouragement or acknowledgment signal openness, making younger employees more comfortable engaging and contributing.

While concerns persist around maintaining professionalism, Rajpal emphasises the importance of strategic use rather than strict regulation. Emojis like the thumbs up for acknowledgment or the rocket icon for celebrating milestones enhance efficiency and emotional intelligence without compromising formality where it matters.

Reflecting Indian cultural nuances, emoji use often mirrors the spirit of jugaad—creative, improvised solutions that build camaraderie and warmth. Whether adding a laughing emoji to lighten a moment or a celebratory icon to recognise achievements, these small cues strengthen team culture.

Looking ahead, Rajpal believes emojis will become even more integral, especially as Gen Z employees—half of whom struggle with unclear messages—prefer visual cues to complement text. Platforms like Slack further amplify this trend through custom emoji reactions that support collaboration and team identity.

As hybrid workplaces evolve, emojis have moved beyond novelty. They now stand as essential tools enabling clearer, warmer, and more connected communication in India’s modern professional ecosystem.

UK Lawmakers Push for New £2.5M Investor Visa to Stop Wealth Exodus

Share

A group of influential UK lawmakers has urged Prime Minister Keir Starmer to introduce a new investor visa aimed at attracting wealthy foreign nationals, as rising taxes drive affluent residents out of the country. According to Bloomberg, twelve members of the House of Lords argue that a minimum investment visa—set at £2.5 million—could help the UK recover from its current “economic and political morass,” with the funds directed toward public services and national infrastructure.

In their letter, signatories including business leader Nosheena Mobarik, former Merrill Lynch executive Richard Spring, and ex-Downing Street Chief of Staff Edward Lister warn that the UK is rapidly losing capital, talent, and entrepreneurial energy due to recent tax hikes. The changes, including the removal of the long-standing non-dom tax status, have triggered an exodus of billionaires such as Checkout.com founder Guillaume Pousaz, Revolut CEO Nik Storonsky, and Egyptian tycoon Nassef Sawiris.

The lawmakers’ proposal comes ahead of Chancellor Rachel Reeves’ second budget, which is expected to introduce further taxes. A recent Oxford Economics report indicates that non-domiciled residents have already withdrawn £840 million from UK assets, and several high-net-worth individuals have relocated to more tax-friendly jurisdictions.

Though Starmer’s government has launched a fast-track residency pathway for high earners and is considering an updated investor visa, critics fear that the negative effects of the tax reforms are already taking hold. The letter stresses that foreign investors leaving the UK are taking with them significant contributions to the economy—including philanthropy, consumer spending, and job creation.

With countries such as Italy and Greece offering generous incentives to attract global wealth, UK lawmakers insist that urgent action is needed to stem further capital flight and restore Britain’s appeal as a destination for wealthy investors and entrepreneurs.

EU Tightens Visa-Free Travel Rules Amid Security and Migration Concerns

Share

The European Union has approved a significant reform of its visa-free travel suspension mechanism, aimed at addressing rising migration pressures, security risks, and the political misuse of mobility arrangements. Finalised by the Council of the European Union on November 17, 2025, the updated framework equips the bloc with faster and more flexible tools to respond when non-EU countries fail to uphold their visa-free obligations.

Under the revised rules, the EU can now trigger a suspension of visa-free access when irregular indicators—such as asylum applications, overstays, or undocumented entries—increase by 30%, down from the previous 50% threshold. This lower benchmark enables quicker intervention in response to emerging risks across the Schengen Area.

The suspension period has also been extended, allowing for an initial 12-month halt to visa-free travel, with the possibility of a 24-month renewal if concerns persist. Notably, the new system introduces targeted suspensions, enabling the EU to restrict specific groups—such as diplomats or government officials—rather than applying a blanket ban on all travelers from a given country.

The expanded grounds for suspension reflect the EU’s increasing focus on safeguarding border integrity. Action may now be taken against countries that diverge from the EU’s visa policy, operate investor citizenship schemes (“golden passports”), face deteriorating relations with the EU, or present hybrid threats such as document-security vulnerabilities.

Countries including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, and Kosovo may undergo deeper scrutiny under these updated rules, as they continue to face issues related to unfounded asylum claims and irregular stays.

These reforms coincide with the upcoming launch of the Entry-Exit System (EES) and the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS). Together, these systems will monitor border crossings in real time and pre-screen travelers from visa-exempt countries, enhancing the EU’s ability to identify security risks and irregular migration trends.

As migration and internal security remain central topics across EU member states, the bloc’s tougher approach underscores its determination to protect the integrity of visa-free travel. The new measures reinforce the principle that such privileges apply only to countries aligned with EU standards, values, and security expectations.

Dhanush’s ₹2.5 Crore Watch Steals the Spotlight Ahead of Tere Ishq Mein

Share

Luxury watches and celebrities have always gone hand in hand, and the stakes keep getting higher. From Anant Ambani’s ₹70 crore Patek Philippe to Salman Khan and Hardik Pandya sporting pieces that look straight out of a museum, and even in Tollywood, stars like Jr. NTR and Ram Charan flaunting multi-crore timepieces—it’s an endless game of opulence.

Recently, Dhanush became the talk of the town after fans spotted his extravagant watch during promotions. In a candid interview, he revealed a surprisingly grounded side: he still keeps the ₹100 watch his mother gifted him as a kid. Yet, he casually mentioned that the watch he was wearing cost around ₹2.5 crore—as if it were just another accessory. Collecting high-end watches has been a long-term hobby for him, and whispers suggest his entire collection could now be worth around ₹60 crore.

Fans weren’t shocked; many appreciated his honesty and work ethic, acknowledging that someone as hardworking as Dhanush deserves to enjoy life’s luxuries. Photos from the promotions, where his watch sparkles even brighter than the lights, have gone viral across social media.

Meanwhile, Dhanush is gearing up for the release of Tere Ishq Mein, starring alongside Kriti Sanon and directed by Anand L. Rai. With the songs already making waves online, the film is set to hit theatres on November 28.
