Tamil Audience Not Interested In RRR’s Dosti Song
The first promotional video song from RRR was released amid much fanfare. Titled Dost, this song managed to impress music lovers. The Telugu version has clocked over 15 million views already and it is still going strong. The Hindi version is a reasonably good hit as well. It has garnered over 11 million views till now. Amit Trivedi’s vocals have worked pretty well for the song and it is being received well by the Hindi audiences. However, the Tamil version of Dosti is struggling to catch the attention of Tamil audiences. Despite Tamil music sensation Anirudh Ravichander crooning the song, Dosti’s Tamil version is not able to spark any sort of attention from the target audiences.
Even a week after its release, the Tamil version of Dosti, which has been titled Natpu is posting rather weak numbers on Youtube. It has garnered just around 4 million views till date, which is not the kind of a number one would associate with a magnum opus project like RRR. Another interesting aspect is that Natpu, crooned by Anirudh is arguably the best version of all the five languages. Anirudh’s vocals perfectly suited the pitch of the song and his rendering is of top tier quality as well. Both Anirudh and Keeravani combinedly deliver a winning number. But the quality of the song is not directly transcending into its success.
At a time when the Telugu and Hindi variants are doing reasonably well, the Tamil version is lagging behind big time. This surely is an interesting development. This might be an indication that RRR, which is riding high on buzz in the Telugu states and also the northern circuit is lagging behind in Tamil Nadu. It is high time that the RRR team follows a targeted approach and comes up with promotional campaigns aimed at attracting Tamil audiences. The Tamil rights of the film were sold for a whopping amount and the unit will have to work on building the film a solid pre-release buzz ahead of its release. What Is Happening With Hema & MAA?
The fight for the hold over Movie Artists Association is getting uglier with each passing day. It seems like actress Hema who decided to contest for the president post of MAA has no one besides her at the moment. She accused senior actor Naresh who is the current president to ‘MAA’ of using the money for wrong reasons and not for contributing to the welfare of the association. This created a huge storm and everyone including Naresh himself and MAA General Secretary Jeevitha Rajasekhar condemned these statements from Hema.
They took it to the notice of the disciplinary committee and Megastar Chiranjeevi himself wrote an elaborate letter to ‘MAA’ disciplinary committee president Krishnam Raju. He asked Krishnam Raju to take action against people who defame ‘MAA’ and its reputation. With Chiranjeevi’s letter, the committee has responded immediately and seriously as they issued show-cause notices to Hema.
None of the ‘MAA’ members are opening their mouths on Hema getting show-cause notices. As they reportedly understood that things got serious due to Chiranjeevi’s letter, most of them decided to remain calm and stay out of trouble. Insiders say that many well-known personalities have decided to become mere spectators in this whole scenario.
Hema was the vice-president of Movie Artists Association and watching her not getting any sort of support is shocking to everyone. Despite some people agreeing to what Hema stated they are not willing to come out and admit it in public due to the big names involved. We need to see if Hema gets support from anywhere in the coming days or not.

This shows how Bollywood filmmakers are looking for a chance to pounce on an opportunity to make a biopic and set the cash registers ringing. So, when Indian player Neeraj Chopra won the Gold Medal in Tokyo Olympics, everyone was sure that a biopic will be coming out soon. The 23-year-old javelin thrower recently stated that he doesn’t want a biopic made on him so soon as there is a lot more to achieve. He is very young and has a lot of achieve till the end of his career. He added that a biopic can be made on his life story once he retires. Neeraj Chopra said that he would like to see either Akshay Kumar or Randeep Hooda playing his role.
As soon as he said that, people started tweeting to Akshay Kumar regarding this and asked him whether he would play the lead when this biopic gets made. Shekhar Kammula’s Boldest Attempt With Dhanush’s Film
Shekhar Kammula is known for making sensible films. His filmography predominantly includes love dramas and sensible social dramas. Leader, starring Rana could well be the only dynamic and out-of-the-comfort zone film directed by Shekhar. But he managed to do a fabulous job with the film. Leader is regarded as one of the finest political thrillers in Telugu cinema. Now, Shekhar is set to take another detour for his next film with Dhanush, which was officially announced a long while back. He is apparently making a bold attempt with the Dhanush starrer as he is exploring a rather untapped genre.
Reports suggest that Shekhar Kammula has penned a periodic action drama subject for Dhanush. This will be the first periodic film for both Dhanush and Shekhar Kammula. Both Shekhar and Dhanush are excited about the script and they believe that the project, if executed with perfection, can stand as a benchmark in their careers. They are eager to join hands for this periodic celluloid.
Apparently, Dhanush will be seen as a rebellious Telugu leader in the film, which is set in the post-independence era. The film will be set in Madras atmospherics and it will reflect the atrocities on a section of the common public at that point in time. Dhanush plays an author-backed role. Necessary changes will be made to the basic set-up for the Tamil and Hindi versions in order to make the plot more relatable to the respective audiences. Shekhar Kammula is currently getting the dialogues prepared for the Tamil and Hindi versions. A group of young and talented writers is working on the dialogues for the Tamil and Hindi versions respectively. The producers are planning to mount the project on a massive scale and special emphasis will be on creating authentic-looking sets and atmospherics.
There are rumors that Sai Pallavi is in consideration for the female lead role in the film. The final call on the same will be taken in the next few weeks. It is heard that the regular shooting will commence early next year. The final draft will be locked very soon. More details are awaited.
Xbox cloud gaming now part of Xbox app on Windows
Washington: American software giant Microsoft announced on Monday that it has brought xCloud to Windows PCs with the Xbox app.
According to The Verge, the Xbox Insiders will be able to access a new updated Xbox app with Xbox Cloud Gaming (xCloud) built in it.
To access Xbox games from a Windows 10 PC, a user would require a compatible controller connected via Bluetooth or USB, much like how xCloud works through the web.
Reportedly, the updated Xbox app will include a new “cloud games” section, with access to all of the same games available on xCloud on the web.
The Verge quoted Jason Beaumont, a partner director of Xbox experiences saying, “We’ve also added some new features to help you get started, including easy-to-access information on the controller and network status, social features to stay connected with friends, and the ability to invite people – even those also playing on the cloud without the game installed – to join you in a game.”
The users will be able to access the new Xbox app in 22 different countries by signing up to the ‘Windows Gaming’ feature preview in the Xbox Insider Hub app.
After this, the cloud games will be available in the ‘Game Pass’ section of the app, allowing users to resume Xbox games that were started on a console or in the cloud.
The Verge reported that “this new Xbox app also includes the ability to stream games from a local Xbox, allowing you to power on and off a console and play your games streamed from your own Xbox.”
For the users who are not Xbox testers, they can still access xCloud over at the ‘http://xbox.com/play’ link, and the Microsoft company will likely bring this full experience to the Xbox app on Windows in the coming months soon.

Rs Praveen Kumar Finds A Fan In JD Lakshmi Narayana!
Keeping an end to the speculations on his next move in politics,former IPS Officer RS Praveen Kumar, who took voluntary retirement has joined the BSP party amid much fanfare in Telangana.
Saying that the leaders of the dominant castes have cheated Dalits and other minority communities, RA Praveen Kumar said Bahujan Society is the need of the hour for the betterment of these classes.
EX CBI JD and former Janasena leader Lakshmi Narayana gave his opinion on Praveen Kumar’s political entry and welcomed his decision.
Crediting RS Praveen Kumar for being instrumental in giving a much-needed boost up to the Gurukulas, JD Lakshmi Narayana said he is a fan of the former IAS Officer.
Talking about the chances of the duo working together, Lakshmi Narayana said they both have the same ideology and given a chance we would work together.
“I believe that each and every person in the country should understand the Constitutional powers. RS Praveen Kumar believes in empowering the Bahujans,” Lakshmi Narayana said.
There is a common point between the duo is that they took voluntary retirement from their respective posts to work for the people.
