Deepavali Box Office Clash: Siddhu, Kiran Abbavaram, and Pradeep Ranganathan

This Deepavali promises an exciting box-office clash between three young actors: Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Kiran Abbavaram, and Pradeep Ranganathan, with their films Telusu Kada, K-Ramp, and Dude slated to release on the same day.
For Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Kiran Abbavaram, in particular, these releases are critical tests. Despite aggressive promotions, both actors need stronger buzz to ensure a solid opening weekend. Siddhu’s previous outing, Jack, was a flop, wiping out the momentum he had built with the Tillu franchise. He now faces the challenge of proving that he can still draw audiences based on his star power alone, regardless of the director.
Telusu Kada benefits from the backing of a big banner, People Media Factory, and features glam leads Raashi Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty. However, it remains a make-or-break film for Siddhu.
Meanwhile, Kiran Abbavaram briefly revived his career with Ka, but Dilruba pushed him back into a slump. His new film, K-Ramp, is packed with double-meaning dialogues and bold sequences aimed at youth audiences, which have generated attention. The real question is whether Kiran can convert this buzz into strong box-office numbers.
Pradeep Ranganathan, although not a native Telugu star, has already delivered two Telugu hits, Love Today and Dragon, making him a formidable contender in this festive clash.
With three promising yet contrasting films releasing this Deepavali, the competition at the box office is set to be intense, and fans are eagerly watching to see who emerges victorious.
Dil Raju Hints at Upcoming Collaboration with Pawan Kalyan

Star producer Dil Raju has hinted at a possible collaboration with Pawan Kalyan. Speaking to a massive crowd during a special screening of Pawan’s latest blockbuster They Call Him OG, Dil Raju revealed that he is awaiting confirmation of Pawan Kalyan’s dates, adding that once finalized, he will officially announce the project. The revelation was met with enthusiastic cheers from fans.
Dil Raju, who distributed They Call Him OG in the Nizam region, praised the film’s performance, noting that it has already reached its break-even mark and is generating significant profits. Reflecting on past experiences, he mentioned that the COVID-19 pandemic had limited the success of Vakeel Saab, but reaffirmed his commitment to work with Pawan Kalyan again, saying, “I will surely collaborate with Pawan Kalyan garu on another project.”
Industry speculation suggests that Dil Raju might be planning a message-oriented social drama for Pawan Kalyan, potentially directed by Anil Ravipudi. Meanwhile, fans are actively campaigning on social media, urging him to consider directors like Hanu Raghavapudi, Venky Atluri, or even Puri Jagannadh for the project.
The bond between Dil Raju and Pawan Kalyan goes back to the days of Tholi Prema, which he distributed in the Nizam region, achieving huge profits. Dil Raju also produced Pawan’s comeback film Vakeel Saab. Pawan Kalyan has already completed his portions for Ustaad Bhagat Singh, and fans eagerly await an official announcement regarding the much-anticipated Pawan Kalyan–Dil Raju reunion.

A subsidiary of Haarika and Haasini Creations, which primarily focuses on big-ticket films with Trivikram Srinivas, Sithara Entertainments has built a reputation for producing medium to big-budget films at a steady pace since 2016.
Over the years, the production house has delivered a series of successful films such as Jersey, Bheeshma, DJ Tillu, Sir, Mad, Lucky Bhaskar, and Daaku Maharaj, establishing itself as one of the most reliable banners in Telugu cinema.
Now, Sithara Entertainments seems to be expanding its horizons beyond Tollywood. This film will mark the debut of a new director, with an official announcement expected soon.
Adding to its growing pan-Indian vision, the banner has also confirmed a collaboration with Kannada sensation Rishab Shetty. Meanwhile, within Telugu cinema, Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin and Ravi Teja’s Mass Jathara are part of their exciting upcoming lineup.

Rift Widens Between Ministers in Revanth’s Team

Internal conflicts within the Telangana Congress continue to escalate, with party leaders in several districts forming rival factions and engaging in power struggles.
In Warangal, tensions have intensified between Endowments Minister Konda Surekha and local MLA Nayini Rajender Reddy, both vying for greater control of the party in the region.
The latest flashpoint involves a confrontation between Minister Konda Surekha and her cabinet colleague Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.
On Saturday, Surekha lodged a formal complaint against Ponguleti, accusing him of interfering in the Endowments Department’s affairs and manipulating a ₹71-crore tender process.
According to sources, Surekha met with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and later sent a detailed letter to AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge and Telangana in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, alleging that Ponguleti exceeded his authority as Medaram Jatara in-charge minister by influencing departmental contracts.
Surekha, who heads the Endowments portfolio, expressed discontent that certain tenders were finalized without her knowledge, describing the act as an “unwarranted intrusion.”
Reports suggest she plans to visit Delhi to brief the Congress high command directly about the matter.
This controversy follows closely on the heels of another dispute between ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Adluri Lakshman Kumar, which was resolved only after party intervention.
Observers note that the latest row once again highlights the lack of coordination within Revanth Reddy’s cabinet, reflecting deeper fissures in the state Congress leadership.
While Ponguleti’s supporters argue that he acted within his jurisdiction as district in-charge minister, Surekha’s camp contends that she has been sidelined despite her seniority.
With the issue now reaching the national leadership, the Congress high command may soon be compelled to intervene to contain the growing discord and prevent further political damage.
Jagan May Pave Way for Third Generation of YSR Family in Politics

The YSR family, one of Andhra Pradesh’s most influential political dynasties, appears set to witness its third generation step into public life.
Even as Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president Y. S. Sharmila prepares the stage for her son Y. S. Raja Reddy to make his political debut, speculation is growing that her brother, YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief and former chief minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, may soon introduce one of his daughters into active politics.
At present, Jagan and his wife Bharathi Reddy are in London, where both their daughters have been pursuing higher education and largely keeping away from political attention.
The elder daughter, Harsha Reddy, who recently earned her MBA in France, is now based in London. The younger daughter, Varsha Reddy, graduated from Notre Dame University in the United States and currently works for a reputed firm in Singapore.
However, recent discussions within the YSRCP suggest growing sentiment in favor of bringing a younger face from the family into politics. According to senior party members, the leadership vacuum following the YSRCP’s 2024 assembly election setback has intensified calls for generational renewal and a symbolic revival of the party’s emotional connect with the late Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s legacy.
“There is an increasing realization that the party needs a fresh leadership appeal and emotional connect to energize its base, particularly among youth and loyal YSR supporters,” said a senior party insider.
Sources indicate that Jagan may be considering introducing one of his daughters into public life as part of a broader revival and rebranding strategy ahead of the 2029 general elections. This move, if finalized, would mark a major turning point in the family’s political journey—continuing a lineage that has shaped Andhra Pradesh politics for decades.
Meanwhile, Bharathi Reddy continues to remain apolitical, restricting her participation to limited election events while focusing on family business operations and charitable activities.
Insiders also reveal that during his current London visit, Jagan might be weighing the timing and political strategy behind this move, possibly aiming for his daughter’s debut from the family’s traditional stronghold in Kadapa during the next Lok Sabha elections.
If realized, this would cement the YSR family’s presence in Andhra Pradesh’s political landscape for another generation—an evolution that combines legacy, leadership, and emotional symbolism.
Despite the mounting speculation, party leaders remain cautious, declining to confirm whether either of Jagan’s daughters has expressed interest in political life. For now, the YSR family remains silent, leaving Andhra’s political circles abuzz with anticipation.
