చేసిన సాయం గురించి డబ్బులు ఖర్చు చేసి మరీ పబ్లిసిటీ చేసుకోవాల్సిన రోజులివి. ప్రభుత్వాల సంగతి సరే సరి. జనం సొమ్ము ఖర్చపెడుతూ, ఆ జనాన్ని ఉద్ధరించేస్తున్నట్టు నిస్సిగ్గుగా పబ్లసిటీ చేసుకోవడం రాజకీయాల్లో నయా ట్రెండ్. అయితే, కోట్లాదిమంది అభిమానుల్ని కలిగి వున్న మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవికి ఈ తరహా పబ్లిసిటీ స్టంట్లు చేయాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. బ్లడ్ బ్యాంక్, ఐ బ్యాంక్ ద్వారా గత కొంతకాలంగా మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి పలు సేవా కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహిస్తున్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే. జాతీయ స్థాయిలో వీటికి ప్రత్యేక గుర్తింపు లభించింది, లభిస్తోంది కూడా. ఏనాడూ వీటితో చిరంజీవి సొంత పబ్లిసిటీ చేసుకోలేదు.
ఇక, ఇప్పుడు కరోనా నేపథ్యంలో ఏర్పడ్డ ఆక్సిజన్ కొరత కారణంగా, మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి, ఆక్సిజన్ బ్యాంకుల్ని నెలకొల్పుతున్నారు. తద్వారా చాలామందికి ప్రాణవాయువు అందుతోంది. చిత్రమేంటంటే, తెలుగు మీడియాలో మెజార్టీ మీడియా సంస్థలు మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవిని లైట్ తీసుకున్నాయి. ‘సోనూ సూద్ గురించి ఉచిత పబ్లిసిటీ ఇచ్చుకున్న కులగజ్జి మీడియా (పచ్చ మీడియా, బులుగు మీడియా), మన మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి దగ్గరకొచ్చేసరికి మాత్రం, ‘చేపల పులుసు’ పేరుతో సెటైర్లు వేసింది. ఎంతైనా పాచిపోయిన పొరుగింటి పుల్లకూరలోని టేస్ట్ మన కులగజ్జి మీడియాకి మాత్రమే తెలుసు.
చిరంజీవి.. అన్న పేరే ఈ కుల గజ్జి మీడియాకి నచ్చదు. అందుకే, ప్రజారాజ్యం పార్టీ విషయంలోనూ ఈ కులగజ్జి మీడియా విషం చిమ్మింది. జనసేన విషయంలోనూ అదే చేసింది. ‘మెగా కాంపౌండ్’కి సంబంధించి జుగుప్సాకరమైన వార్తలు వండి వడ్డించడం తప్ప, ఈ కులగజ్జి మీడియాకి ఇంకో పనే వుండదు. ఆ కాంపౌండ్ మీద రాతలు రాయకపోతే, ఆయా మీడియా సంస్థలు బతికి బట్టకట్టలేనంత బానిసత్వంలో వున్నాయవి. ఆయా పార్టీలకు బానిసల్లా బతుకున్న ఈ కులగజ్జి మీడియా సంస్థలు, మెగా కాంపౌండ్ మీద అందుకే విషం చిమ్మేది.
ఇక్కడ సోనూ సూద్ అనే వ్యక్తిని తప్పు పట్టలేం. తనకున్న పరిధిలో సోనూ సూద్ చేస్తున్న సేవని ప్రశంసించాల్సిందే. అదే సమయంలో, మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవిని మన కులగజ్జి మీడియా గుర్తించడంలేదన్న ఆవేదన మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి అభిమానుల్లో బాగా నాటుకుపోయింది. కొంతమేర మెగాస్టార్ కూడా ఈ విషయమై ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నట్టే కనిపిస్తోంది. ఓ పత్రికలో మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి నెలకొల్పిన ఆక్సిజన్ బ్యాంకులపై ప్రశంసలు గుప్పిస్తూ కథనం రావడం తెలుగునాట సంచలనమైంది.
ఆ పత్రిక అధినేతతో చిరంజీవి మాట్లాడారు. తెలుగు మీడియాలో కొందరి నుంచి ప్రోత్సాహం దక్కకపోవడంతో ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. ఒక గుర్తింపు బోల్డంత బలాన్నిస్తుంది. అదే బహుశా చిరంజీవి ఆశించి వుండొచ్చు. అయినాగానీ, సినీ రంగంలో ఏ అండా దండా లేకుండా మెగాస్టార్.. తెలుగు సినీ పరిశ్రమ పెద్దన్న.. అనే స్థాయికి ఎదిగిన చిరంజీవికి.. ఈ కులగజ్జి మీడియా నుంచి ఎదురయ్యే అడ్డంకులు పెద్ద కష్టమేమీ కాదు.
నిజానికి, చిరంజీవి సదరు కులగజ్జి మీడియా గురించి పట్టించుకోకపోవడమే మంచిది. మంచిని జీర్ణించుకోలేక అసహనంతో రగిలిపోయి మొరిగే కులగజ్జి మీడియా నుంచి ‘గుర్తింపు’ ఆశించడమంటేనే అంతకన్నా హాస్యాస్పదం ఇంకోటుండదు. కోట్లాదిమంది అభిమానులున్నారు.. సోషల్ మీడియానే అత్యద్భుతమైన వేదిక ఈ రోజుల్లో. అన్నిటికీ మించి, సాయం పొందిన గుండెలు చెప్పే ఒక్క ‘థ్యాంక్స్’ మిలియన్ ఓల్టుల శక్తిని అందిస్తుంది. జై చిరంజీవ.!

Sources say that at least 18 TRS MLAs are in touch with Etela Rajender. They are said to be talking to him through intermediaries. They are unhappy in the TRS and are waiting for the right time. So, they would desert the TRS at the opportune moment. As of now, several former MLAs, MLCs and other key leaders are said to be in touch with Etela Rajender and they too might ditch the TRS at the right time. Sources say that the defections would be very rightly timed to psychologically weaken the TRS and its leadership. The desertions will be very much like those in West Bengal where each defection has jolted the Trinamool leadership. It is another matter that this did not end up in a positive result for the BJP in the final analysis in West Bengal.
Etela Rajender has already met the BJP top brass and is said to have revealed his game plan to them. They are said to have given a go ahead to him. So, wait for the big bang action in the coming days in Telangana.
Thala Ajith receives a threatening call that claims bomb placed at his house!
Kollywood star hero Thala Ajith, one of the leading stars in the business, received a bomb threat on Tuesday. Some unidentified people made the threatening call to the Vedalam actor. The miscreants have informed the same to cops as well.
As per the media reports, the Police Control Room received an anonymous call saying that a bomb was placed at Ajith’s residence in the Injambakkam area in Chennai. Following this, the cops swung into action and a dog squad has been called.
It is said that the anonymous call turned out to be fake as no bomb was found at the actor’s house. Surprisingly, this is not the first time the actor received such calls. Earlier, Ajith received such calls in 2014 and 2017.
As a dangerous trend, miscreants often target celebrities across the industries. These incidents increase the work of the Police Department and personnel.
On the Work Front, Ajith will be seen next in the upcoming action thriller Valimai. While H. Vinoth is helming the project, ace producer Boney Kapoor is bankrolling Valimai. Bollywood beauty Huma Qureshi and Kartikeya Gummakonda are playing the female lead and baddie respectively.
Vijayendra Prasad wants to write these kinds of stories for Big B and Rajini
Director and writer K Vijayendra Prasad, the father of RRR director SS Rajamouli, has opened up on what he thinks about top stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu and Vijay Deverakonda.
Appearing on the talk show ‘Ali Tho Saradaga’ on ETV, the celebrated writer revealed interesting things that what kind of films will he write for the above-mentioned stars, if required?
Speaking about Big B, the RRR writer said that he would show the B-town superstar as a miser as it will be interesting to see a top star like him spending as little money as possible.
For Kamal Haasan, the veteran writer interestingly said that there is nothing left in Kamal’s career to perform newly as he tried every possible genre that existed in cinema.
Vijayendra Prasad wanted to show Rajinikanth as Ravana. While speaking about Pawan Kalyan, the writer said that his films don’t need a story. Saying that people go to theatres just to watch PSPK, he opined that borrowing elements like excellent songs, delightful dances with the heroine, and fights from his previous movies will be enough for him.
He also said that Vijay Deverakonda is very good at emoting suppressed anger. So, anything based on it will work for the Liger actor. Speaking about writing a story for Mahesh Babu, Vijayendra Prasad said that it is a tough job for him to write for MB and the latter said he will consult director Puri Jagannadh before writing for the Khaleja actor.

We will abide by the new IT rules in India, says Twitter
The Delhi High Court gave a huge shock to Twitter. It is learned that Amit Acharya has recently filed a petition in the High Court through lawyers Akash Vajpayee and Manish Kumar alleging Twitter is in non-compliance with the provisions of the IT Act recently brought by the Central Government.
The High Court, which heard the petition recently, issued notices to the Union govt and Twitter. Responding to this, Twitter told the court that it was abiding by the rules of the new IT Act and had also appointed a resident grievance officer.
But counsel for the petitioner denied this. It said that Twitter has not yet appointed such an officer. After hearing the arguments, Justice Rekha Palli said that all digital platforms, including Twitter, have to abide by the IT rules and there are no exceptions. She warned that if anyone did not follow the rules, legal action would be taken against them. The next hearing was adjourned.
Sharwanand helping out Padi Padi Leche Manasu producers
Sharwanand has been making the headlines for all the wrong reasons after serving legal notice to the producers of his previous film, Sreekaram. He is alleging that 14 Reels Plus Entertainments haven’t paid him his full remuneration yet and initiated legal action against them.
Cut to now, Sharwanand has shown his generous side to Sudhakar Cherukuri who is producing his upcoming film, Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu.
Apparently, Sharwanand is not taking any remuneration for this film and there is a good reason behind it. He wants to compensate for the losses incurred by one of his recent films, Padi Padi Leche Manasu which was produced by Sudhakar.
Sharwanand will be taking a share in the profits only after the producer recovers his full investment. This surely is a thoughtful gesture.
The film stars Rashmika Mandanna and it is directed by Kishore Tirumala.

Former CS of United AP SV Prasad dies of Coronavirus
Former Chief Secretary of united Andhra Pradesh SV Prasad died of Coronavirus on Tuesday. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Hyderabad.
As per reports, Prasad fell prey to the virus for the third time and succumbed to it. Currently, his wife and children are also undergoing treatment for Covid at a private hospital.
Prasad, a 1975-batch IAS officer, holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He was promoted to Chief Secretary when K Rosaiah was Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh in 2010. He served as the first vigilance commissioner of the state after bifurcation.
He has the highest credentials of successfully working with four Chief Ministers, i.e. NT Rama Rao, K.Vijayabaskar Reddy, N.Janardhan Reddy and had worked for about 8 years as Secretary/Prl. Secretary under N Chandrababu Naidu.
Nikhil announces his interesting line-up of films
Young actor, Nikhil is celebrating his 36th birthday today and on the occasion, he announced his line-up of projects which are in various stages of production.
Nikhil will be working on 18 Pages and Karthikeya 2 simultaneously once the Covid effect subsides. These two will be his immediate next releases.
Soon after, the young actor will kick-start, Swamy Ra Ra 2, the sequel to super hit Swamy Ra Ra. Sudheer Varma will direct the sequel.
Post that, Nikhil will be working on a spy thriller that will be funded by Asian Cinema. The director of the project will be announced soon.
The makers of 18 Pages and Karthikeya 2 will be releasing new posters today to celebrate Nikhil’s birthday.
