చైల్డ్ ఆర్టిస్టుగా తెలుగు ప్రేక్షకులను అలరించిన తేజ సజ్జ హీరోగా పరిచయమైన చిత్రం ”జాంబీ రెడ్డి”. ‘అ’ ఫేమ్ ప్రశాంత్ వర్మ దర్శకత్వం వహించిన ఈ సినిమాలో ఆనంది – దక్ష హీరోయిన్లుగా నటించారు. ఫిబ్రవరి ఫస్ట్ వీక్ లో ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు వచ్చిన ఈ సినిమా మంచి వసూళ్ళు రాబట్టింది. కమర్షియల్ సక్సెస్ అందుకున్న ఈ సినిమాతో హీరోగా తేజ సక్సెస్ ఫుల్ గా లాంచ్ అయ్యాడు. వెండితెరపై ఆడియన్స్ ని అలరించిన ‘జాంబి రెడ్డి’.. బుల్లితెరపై కూడా సత్తా చాటింది.

మార్చి నెలలో ‘స్టార్ మా’ ఛానల్ లో టెలికాస్ట్ అయిన ‘జాంబి రెడ్డి’ వరల్డ్ టెలివిజన్ ప్రీమియర్ 9.7 టీఆర్పీ రేటింగ్ సాధించింది. చిన్న సినిమాలలో ఇది మంచి రేటింగ్ అనే చెప్పాలి. ఈ క్రమంలో రీసెంటుగా స్టార్ మా లో రెండోసారి ప్రసారం చేయబడిన జాంబీల సినిమా అదిరిపోయే టీఆర్పీ దక్కించుకుంది. ప్రేక్షకుల నుంచి సూపర్ రెస్పాన్స్ తెచ్చుకొని రికార్డు స్థాయిలో 8.1 టీఆర్పీ రేటింగ్ అందుకుంది. సెకండ్ టైం టెలికాస్ట్ లో కూడా ఇంతటి టీఆర్పీ రాబట్టడం గొప్ప విషయమనే చెప్పాలి.

ఇటీవల టీవీల్లో టెలికాస్ట్ అయిన స్టార్ హీరోల సినిమాలు సైతం ఈ రేంజ్ టీఆర్పీ రాబట్టలేకపోయాయి. ఇప్పుడు ‘జాంబీ రెడ్డి’ చిత్రానికి స్మాల్ స్క్రీన్ పై వస్తున్న స్పందన చూస్తుంటే ఫ్యామిలీ ఆడియన్స్ దీనిని బాగా ఆదరించారని అర్థం అవుతోంది. మన నేటివిటీతో తెలుగులో జాంబీల కాన్సెప్ట్ తో వచ్చిన ఫస్ట్ మూవీ కావడంతో అందరూ ఈ సినిమాపై ఆసక్తిని కనబరిచారు. టీవీల్లో రెండోసారి కూడా అదే జోరును చూపించడంపై చిత్ర యూనిట్ ఫుల్ ఖుషీగా ఉన్నారు.

కాగా ‘జాంబీ రెడ్డి’ చిత్రాన్ని ఆపిల్ ట్రీ బ్యానర్ పై రాజశేఖర్ వర్మ నిర్మించారు. ఈ చిత్రానికి స్క్రిప్ట్స్ విల్లే స్క్రీన్ ప్లే అందించగా.. మార్క్ కె రాబిన్ సంగీతం సమకూర్చారు. అనిత్ సినిమాటోగ్రాఫర్ గా వ్యవహరించాడు. సాయిబాబు ఎడిటింగ్ వర్క్ చేశారు. ఇందులో హర్షవర్ధన్ – రఘుబాబు – పృథ్వీరాజ్ – గెటప్ శ్రీను – హేమంత్ – హరితేజ – అన్నపూర్ణమ్మ – కిరీటి – రమ రఘు తదితరులు ఇతర పాత్రలు పోషించారు.

Keeping an end to a long time waiting, the Enforcement Directorate has filed a charge sheet in the much-talked-about vote-for-note case that has sent shocking waves across the two Telugu states.

The ED filed a charge sheet in connection with the case on Thursday. As a big relief to former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu, his name was not mentioned in the charge sheet while Revanth Reddy was mentioned.

Going by the charge sheet filed by ACB earlier, the ED filed a case against MP Revanth Reddy, who was the then TDP leader when the alleged scandal took place.

Besides the serving Congress MP, EX-TDP MLC Vem Narendar Reddy’s son Vem Krishan Keertan Reddy, Bishop Sebastian, and others have been named in the charge sheet.

With no evidence found to hold Nara Chandrababu Naidu accused in the list, Chandrababu Naidu was not mentioned as an accused while Revanth Reddy was named as the prime accused in the scandal. However, the charge sheet mentions him as he is facing allegations.

On the grounds of the charge sheet filed by ACB, the ED attached Rs 50 lakh cash that was said to be offered to Stevension by Revanth Reddy, who was with the TDP in 2015.

Tracing back the incident, back in 2015, the Telangana wing of ACB booked a case in connection with the scandal, and based on an FIR filed by ACB, the ED started proving the scandal. Years after probing, the charge sheet was filed.

To the unversed, the scandal surfaced when the TDP tried to bribe Stevension by paying him a sum of Rs 50 lakh to vote for Vem Narender Reddy fielded by the TDP party in the then Legislative Council elections in Telangana back in 2015.

Now that they started working together, people are asking about the experience of working with the ‘Mirchi’ hero. In a recent interaction, she revealed, “I have only shot for a small portion till now. Prabhas is a humble person who carries a lot of positivity and so does the director Prashanth Neel. It has been a great feeling to be a part of Salaar.”

Produced by Homebale Films, ‘Salaar’ is a pan-Indian project which was supposed to get released on 14th April 2022 but it may not happen due to the unexpected delay.

Nithin’s ambitious project, Power Peta is facing a big problem even before hitting the floors. The project has been put on hold due to budget issues.

Krishna Chaitanya who previously directed Nithin’s Chal Mohan Ranga is on-board to direct Power Peta remake. He quoted Rs 40 crores budget for the project.

The producers opine that spending Rs 40 crores on the project is not a viable option. So, they have put the project on hold for now. Various factors like Nithin’s market and the director’s capabilities are coming into play.

There are only two possible outcomes now. Either the director should revise the budget or some other producers should take over the project. If neither happens, the project will be shelved.

Nithin’s focus is presently on Andhadhun remake Maestro which is in final leg of shoot.

KTR launches 100- bed COVID-19 care Centre in Hyderabad

In a bid to treat severe critically ill COVID-19 patients, a Covid Care Centre named ‘Project Ashray’ in Hyderabad renovated its infrastructure to a 100 bed capacity with 6 bedded bridge ICU facility to meet the rising demand.

Telangana’s Information Technology and Urban Development Minister KT Ramarao (KTR) on Wednesday launched this full-fledged 100-bed COVID-19 Care Centre that is dedicated primarily for treating mild to moderate cases at Madhapur in Hyderabad.

The centre, called Project Ashray, has facilitated a high hand infrastructure with a six-bedded bridge ICU facility. It was inaugurated on May 3 by commissioner of police of Hyderabad, VC Sajjanar as a 50-bed facility and later scaled up to 100 beds as aspired by the management team and volunteers.

The facility is built by Society for Cyberabad Security Council with aid coming from United Way Hyderabad an, an international network of local non-profit fundraising affiliates, HYSEA, TSIC, TIE Hyderabad and Grace cancer foundation. Ramarao praised the timely initiative by all the organisations and non profit foundations involved in setting it. Interestingly, the service will be free of cost. It is learnt that for non-Aarogya Sri and Aarogya Bhandu card holders, a nominal cost will be charged for blood tests and medicines.

He addressed the Nobel deed by United Way of Hyderabad, that it deployed medical supplies worth Rs 80 crore, via the IT industry during the first wave last year, and in the second wave, it is supporting by facilitating funds for 100-bed Project Ashray.

Of late Family man 2 makers and cast got enmeshed in the controversy when the trailer of the web series was released. Consequently, Tamil Nadu government requested information & Broadcasting Ministry to either stop or ban the release for allegedly depicting the Eelam Tamils in objectionable manner.

The brutal trolling by objectors is against Samantha Akkineni for purportedly hurting Tamil sentiments by essaying a role of Tamil native while apparently having connections with Pakistan as a terrorist. The uproar became a matter of worry for her father in law Nagarjuna and her husband Naga Chaitanya.

Sources close to the family revealed that Nag was quite pissed off by the “premature protests” and apparently he seem to be intolerant after seeing Sam being attacked.

The Akkineni family is hoping to see all the controversies dampen once the series is aired. In the interim, it is learnt that the show producers directed Sam to remain tight lipped about the issue.

On the other hand, Manoj Bajpayee who plays the male lead, reacted to the calls for banning the second season of the family man series. He assured the Tamil audience that makers have taken utmost care to show their respect for Tamil culture and sensibilities and requested them to watch first as they will be proud of the web show.

Etela Rajender to resign from his MLA Post on this historic date!

Earlier this month, TRS leader Rajender suffered a huge blow after his Health portfolio was stripped due to the alleged land grabbing allegations. His portfolio was later transferred to Chief Minister KCR.

This development gave rise to media reports which claim that Etela Rajender might join the saffron party BJP or float his own political party. He is reportedly holding talks with the leaders in this regard.

Now it is said that Etela Rajender is expected to resign as Huzurnagar MLA and TRS party membership and for this, he has selected a date that has huge importance and significance.

A piece of news has been circulating among the political circles that Etela might resign on June 2, the historic day for Telangana and the people of the state, the date when Telangana was carved out of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh.

Despite there is no official announcement from Etela on this, media reports claim the development might appear true as resigning from the party membership and MLA post on the historic date will send a strong message to the public.

In his recent interview with a leading News Channel, Etela rubbished the reports joining other parties and said, he would like to call for a by-election in his Assembly constituency and wants to go for the polls as an independent candidate.
