YSRCP member and Narasapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju is creating a political stir all across the country, after he was arrested by the Andhra Pradesh CID, for spreading hate against the AP government, and for spreading fear among the people of the state against the government.

Now, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has requested the Union Home Ministry to submit a report on the alleged ‘custodial torture’ that RRR was put through, while he was in the custody of the CID. Birla also sent a copy of the complaint given by RRR’s wife and son, to the Home Ministry for further details on the same. RRR’s wife and son had met with the speaker of the Lok Sabha a few days ago and discussed their grievances on the arrest of RRR. They had reportedly discussed with the speaker in detail how the CID went against several rules to arrest RRR, with a false case filed on him, and about the violence, he was subjected to while he was in the CID’s custody.

RRR’s wife and son are also said to have requested the Lok Sabha to intervene to make sure that RRR is safe, as his life is at stake here. They are also said to have requested to save RRR from further victimisation from all members of the YSRCP who are targeting him.
