Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is one of the latest Bollywood releases, featuring a star-studded cast including Varun Dhawan, Jahnvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, and others. The film opened to decent numbers on Thursday, but the festive advantage hasn’t translated into strong theatre footfalls. Despite its big names, the movie is already struggling to make an impact at the box office.
Jahnvi Kapoor, in particular, is facing the brunt of audience criticism. After consecutive flops, including Param Sundari, where she was criticized for her portrayal of a Malayalee character, she pinned high hopes on SSKTK. However, the film’s current performance indicates that poor script choices may continue to affect her career. With South cinema on her horizon, making better choices is becoming crucial.
Meanwhile, Kantara: Chapter 1 is providing stiff competition, particularly in South India and metropolitan areas. While additional promotions could help, the core content of SSKTK is not resonating strongly with audiences.
The film now depends on solid gains over Saturday and Sunday to achieve a respectable extended weekend total. As a comedy-drama, it offers a welcome break from the recent action-heavy releases, making it an appealing choice for families during the festival. Whether Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari can pick up momentum and emerge as a blockbuster remains to be seen.
Anil Ravipudi vs Naveen Polishetty: Sankranthi Promo Clash
Anil Ravipudi has built a reputation not just for delivering box-office hits but also for his creative promotional campaigns. His quirky and humorous videos with Venkatesh, Aishwarya Rajesh, and others for Sankranthiki Vastunnam kept the film in constant buzz for months, ultimately contributing to its massive success.
Now, the director is following a similar playbook for his upcoming project Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, featuring Megastar Chiranjeevi. Recently, Ravipudi collaborated with singer Udit Narayan for a fun-filled video to promote the film’s first single, “Meesala Pilla.”
However, on the same day, another promo grabbed attention—this time from Anaganaga Oka Raju, starring Naveen Polishetty. Interestingly, both films are locked in for a Sankranthi 2026 release, setting up a promotional clash.
While Ravipudi is known for his innovative approach, Naveen Polishetty has carved a niche as a master of witty, viral marketing. With Sankranthi drawing closer, fans expect Naveen to roll out a series of engaging, humorous promos that could give Ravipudi tough competition in the publicity game.

Rajamouli’s #Globetrotter & Baahubali: The Epic Re-Release
SS Rajamouli has earned a reputation as a perfectionist filmmaker, never moving ahead until each scene meets his high standards — a quality that has made his films unstoppable at the box office.
Currently, Rajamouli is busy with his globetrotting action drama starring Mahesh Babu, tentatively titled #Globetrotter. Mounted on a massive scale, the film is tipped to be the biggest project of his career. A few schedules have already been completed, with the first official reveal set for November.
At the same time, the filmmaker is also revisiting his monumental franchise Baahubali, which is set to make a grand return to theatres for its 10th anniversary. Producer Shobu Yarlagadda confirmed that this won’t be a regular re-release but a special single recut version, combining both parts into one epic experience.
Adding to the excitement, the film has been fully remastered as “Baahubali: The Epic”, featuring enhanced visuals and sound. It will be released worldwide on October 31 in premium formats including IMAX, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, DBox, and EpiQ, giving fans a chance to relive the saga on the grandest scale yet.
Sharing the update on social media, Yarlagadda wrote: “When we do something, we go all the way and try to give you the very best we can. My heartfelt thanks to the team for working on ‘The Epic’ like it’s a new film.”
Directed by SS Rajamouli, Baahubali stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah, with music composed by MM Keeravani and produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni.
South Korea Urges North to Allow Separated Families to Reunite
South Korean President Lee Jae Myung on Friday called on North Korea to consider humanitarian measures that would allow families separated by the 1950–53 Korean War to confirm the fate of their relatives and exchange letters. The appeal comes amid ongoing stalemate in inter-Korean relations.
Since taking office in June, Lee has extended an olive branch to Pyongyang to mend frayed ties. However, tensions remain high, with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un ruling out talks and describing inter-Korean relations as those between “two states hostile to each other.”
Speaking at the Ganghwa Peace Observatory in Incheon, overlooking North Korea, Lee said:
“I think it is the responsibility of the political circles in both South and North to let the separated families confirm whether their relatives are alive and, at the very least, exchange letters.”
He emphasized the humanitarian importance of such measures, adding, “Even if we are in confrontation and conflict and competing militarily and politically, these measures are needed from a humanitarian standpoint.”
Lee expressed regret over the continued hostilities, admitting that the prolonged separation of families is partly due to political shortcomings. He stressed his commitment to advancing the day when these families can meet again.
Since the landmark summit of 2000, the divided Koreas have held 21 rounds of family reunions, reuniting over 20,000 family members who had not seen each other since the war. Traditionally, such reunions are staged during Chuseok, a major holiday celebrated in both countries, as well as other significant national holidays. The most recent temporary reunions took place in 2018.
Many separated family members are now in their 70s and 80s, making reunions a pressing humanitarian concern. In 2022, South Korea proposed talks to discuss family reunions, but North Korea has yet to respond.
Lee plans to use the extended Chuseok holiday to rest and prepare for the rest of the year, including attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Gyeongju on October 31 and November 1. He is also scheduled to appear on a TV cooking show to promote his favorite Korean foods.
Munich Airport Reopens After Drone Sightings Amid Europe-Wide Disruptions
Germany’s Munich Airport reopened on Friday morning after flight operations were suspended Thursday night due to multiple drone sightings. The airport, shut late on Thursday, resumed operations early Friday, restoring normalcy for travelers.
According to an official statement, flights were grounded from 10:18 pm (local time) on October 2, impacting 17 flights and nearly 3,000 passengers, Euro News reported. The airport added:
“Late in the evening of October 2, German air traffic control (DFS) restricted flight operations and later suspended them altogether due to several drone sightings. When a drone is sighted, the safety of travelers is the top priority.”
This incident is part of a growing wave of drone-related disruptions across Europe over the past week. Airports in Poland, Norway, and Denmark also temporarily suspended operations due to unidentified drone activity. Airspace violations were reported in Estonia and Romania, with the latter accusing Russia, which has denied the allegations.
Earlier, on September 26, Aalborg Airport in Denmark was shut for the second time in just 24 hours following a suspected drone incursion. Speaking at a press conference on September 25, Danish Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen called the activity a “systematic operation” by a “professional actor” and stressed that evolving technology makes countermeasures challenging. Poulsen stated, “This is an arms race against time because technology is constantly evolving. We are going to find the people who are behind this.”
Danish Minister of Justice Peter Hummelgaard described the drone activity as intended to “create fear and division” and said Denmark is exploring additional measures to neutralize drones, including legislation allowing infrastructure owners to take action against them.
Similar incidents have affected Copenhagen Airport on September 22 and Oslo Airport in Norway, where airspace closures were imposed for several hours due to unauthorized drone activity, suggesting a concerning pattern across European airspace.

The upcoming comedy entertainer Purushaha has successfully completed its principal photography and has now moved into the post-production phase. Produced by Battula Koteshwar Rao under the banner of Kalyan Productions, the film promises a fresh and humorous cinematic experience.
The movie stars Vennela Kishore, Raj Kasireddy, Sapthagiri, and VTV Ganesh, alongside newcomer Pavan Kalyan in the lead role. Directed by Veeru Ulavala, who previously worked as an associate director on acclaimed films such as Malli Raava, Jersey, and Masooda, the film is expected to deliver a unique blend of comedy and storytelling.
