Santhana Prapthirasthu: Flat & Forgettable
The team behind Santhana Prapthirasthu garnered attention through quirky and entertaining promotions, which helped the film gain visibility despite lacking big stars. Chandini Chowdary’s recent work also added to the buzz. But does the film justify the curiosity? Let’s take a closer look.
Story
Chaitanya (Vikranth), a software employee in Hyderabad, falls for Kalyani (Chandini Chowdary) from Warangal, and the two get married. Six months into their marriage, Kalyani’s father Eswar joins them under the pretext of staying close to his daughter. However, behind her back, he warns Chaitanya that he plans to break the marriage within three months and take Kalyani home.
Amidst this tension, Chaitanya discovers he has a low sperm count. Determined to make his wife pregnant within 100 days, he enrolls in a wellness center. Meanwhile, his meddlesome father-in-law does everything possible to disrupt the couple’s privacy. Whether Chaitanya can succeed in his mission forms the rest of the story.

మొదట ఈ చిత్రానికి స్టార్ డైరెక్టర్ లోకేష్ కనగరాజ్ దర్శకత్వం వహిస్తారని వార్తలు వచ్చాయి. ఆయన కూడా సిద్ధం అయ్యారన్న టాక్ వినిపించింది. కానీ రజినీ హీరోగా లోకేష్ తెరకెక్కించిన కూలీ సినిమా ఫలితం ఆశించిన స్థాయిలో రాకపోవడంతో పరిస్థితులు మారాయి. లోకేష్ ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్ నుంచి తప్పుకున్నారనే సమాచారం బయటకు వచ్చింది.

BenQ launches ScreenBar Halo 2 in India
BenQ has unveiled the ScreenBar Halo 2 in India, introducing a next-generation monitor lighting solution tailored for professionals, creators, and gamers who frequently work in dim or fluctuating lighting environments. Developed after four years of research and user insights, the Halo 2 delivers 423% wider illumination coverage than its predecessor, enabled by a new triple-curvature backlight design and an enhanced dual-light system.
The ScreenBar Halo 2 is engineered to eliminate common problems associated with traditional desk lamps, including screen glare and uneven lighting. Leveraging BenQ’s ASYM Light optical technology and an 18° asymmetrical cut-off angle, the device directs light onto the workspace rather than the monitor, protecting users from glare while maintaining consistent ambient brightness—an essential factor in reducing eye strain during extended use.
According to JC Pan, Chief Product Designer at BenQ Smart Lighting, the redesigned wireless control dial provides precise, intuitive control over brightness (0–100%) and colour temperature (2700K–6500K), making it ideal for colour grading, content creation, and late-night productivity. The anti-fingerprint coating further enhances user experience.
BenQ has also introduced a new mounting system constructed from zinc alloy, replacing conventional clips with a gravity-based mechanism that gently rests on monitors of varying thicknesses—including curved displays—without causing damage. Lead Mechanical Engineer Judy Yang highlighted that the new design prioritises screen safety and universal compatibility.
The Halo 2 includes several smart features such as auto-dimming, motion detection that powers the lamp on when the user returns to the desk, and memory settings that recall preferred lighting modes. These additions aim to deliver a seamless and energy-efficient workflow throughout the day.
Created in collaboration with MINIMAL Design, led by former Nike Global Creative Director Scott Wilson, the ScreenBar Halo 2 sports a metallic finish and minimalist aesthetic that pairs well with premium home offices and professional studios. It complements BenQ’s high-end monitor line-up, including the PD, RD, MOBIUZ, and MA series.
“The ScreenBar Halo 2 blends intelligent engineering with elegant design to make modern workspaces healthier, more productive, and visually inspiring,” said Rajeev Singh, Managing Director, BenQ India and South Asia.

Chinese Hackers Jailbreak Claude to Launch Autonomous AI-Driven Cyberattack
Anthropic has revealed a concerning case of advanced AI misuse, disclosing that a China-based hacking group successfully jailbroke its Claude model and used it to conduct a large-scale cyber operation with minimal human intervention. In a detailed blog post published on Thursday, the company described the incident as the first known example of an AI system autonomously executing a sophisticated cyberattack from reconnaissance through exploitation.
According to Anthropic, the attackers exploited “agentic AI” behaviour, directing Claude to perform tasks typically handled by a skilled cybersecurity unit. These capabilities included system scanning, vulnerability discovery, exploit development and compiling structured intelligence reports.
The operation began with the hackers selecting 30 high-value targets across sectors such as finance, technology, chemicals and government. While Anthropic did not identify the victims, it confirmed that the group built an automated workflow positioning Claude as the central engine driving the attack.
To evade safety mechanisms, the attackers broke malicious instructions into smaller, seemingly benign requests and framed them as defensive security evaluations. This strategy enabled the jailbreak to bypass Claude’s safeguards without raising alarms.
Once engaged, Claude reportedly mapped network environments, scanned infrastructure rapidly and produced high-level summaries for the attackers. “According to the Anthropic blog, the AI researched vulnerabilities, wrote its own exploit code and notably attempted to gain access to high-value accounts.” In some cases, it harvested credentials and organised stolen data by importance before generating detailed intrusion reports.
Anthropic warns that such incidents demonstrate a rapidly shifting threat landscape, where the barrier to conducting advanced cyberattacks is falling significantly. Autonomous AI models capable of coordinating multi-step operations could empower small or less-skilled groups to execute attacks previously limited to elite cyber units.
Although Claude still displayed occasional errors — such as fabricating information or miscategorising data — the overall sophistication of the operation underscores the accelerating emergence of AI-driven threats.

Kabuni, a UK-based sports technology and AI innovator, has officially launched its operations in India, introducing an advanced cricket coaching ecosystem designed to make high-quality training accessible to young players across the country. Announced in Kolkata, the platform aims to transform everyday practice sessions into data-driven learning experiences through its integrated sports technology system and dedicated AI-enabled device.
At the core of Kabuni’s offering is an AI engine trained on decades of cricket footage, biomechanics research, and established coaching methodologies. The system captures and analyses batting and bowling movements, delivering personalised insights through video, images, text, and voice. Players can simply record their practice sessions—whether on the streets, at school grounds, in the nets, or on local cricket pitches—and receive real-time, tailored feedback to accelerate improvement.
Sourav Ganguly, former India captain and Kabuni’s Global Brand Ambassador, highlighted the platform’s potential to democratise premium coaching. “Quality coaching allows children to learn better, faster, and live healthier lives. This level of coaching was once reserved for professionals, but now it is for everyone,” he said.
Co-founder and CFO Patrick Badenoch reaffirmed the company’s mission to break barriers in access to structured training. “Whether on the streets, schoolyards, nets or cricket pitches, Kabuni allows every player to record their game, receive personalised feedback and enjoy the thrill of progress,” he noted.
Developed in partnership with Cambridge Design Partnership, the platform is engineered with an emphasis on accuracy, safety and scalability, supporting learners from grassroots levels to elite pathways. While cricket marks the company’s entry point into India, Kabuni plans to expand into tennis, golf, badminton, table tennis and other sports—ultimately building a multi-sport ecosystem focused on performance, wellness, and everyday fitness.
Emphasising cricket’s cultural importance in India, Ganguly added, “Cricket is not a sport in India, it is a religion. Kabuni is the world’s first digital ecosystem that captures real-world play through sport. It will bring play into learning and help every player discover the athlete within.”
Founder and CEO Nimesh Patel underscored the company’s broader vision. Days after former U.S. President Donald Trump publicly defended the H-1B visa program, Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has announced plans to introduce legislation aimed at phasing out the system entirely.
In a statement released Thursday, Greene said her upcoming bill seeks to eliminate the H-1B program, which she claims has enabled U.S. companies—particularly in technology, healthcare, engineering, and manufacturing—to replace American workers with lower-cost foreign labor. “Big Tech, AI giants, hospitals, and industries across the board have abused the H-1B system to cut out our own people,” she wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
Greene said the proposed legislation would put American workers first in sectors critical to national infrastructure. While the bill calls for the complete elimination of the H-1B system, it includes a temporary exemption allowing 10,000 visas annually for medical professionals. This carve-out would be phased out over 10 years to give the U.S. time to strengthen its domestic healthcare workforce.
The announcement comes shortly after Trump expressed his continued support for the H-1B program in a Fox News interview, stating that the U.S. still requires specialized foreign talent for key tech and defense roles. When asked about wage suppression concerns, Trump acknowledged the issue but maintained, “You do also have to bring in talent,” adding that the U.S. cannot rely solely on unemployed domestic workers to fill high-skill roles.
Greene’s proposal is expected to intensify ongoing debates in Congress over the future of the H-1B visa, a program on which Indian professionals—who currently constitute more than 70% of all H-1B holders—heavily rely.
