Finally, at long last, the BJP is happy in West Bengal. Congress Party’s most important leader Rahul Gandhi is going to campaign in West Bengal. He will campaign for his party in the fifth phase of elections. He has not campaigned in the first four phases.

Adipurush Director Om Raut Plays Down Covid-19 Impact On Shooting
Marathi filmmaker Om Raut made an impressive debut in Bollywood with Tanhaji. The historical action film traces the life of Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusare, military assistant of Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
After Tanhaji, Om Raut announced magnum opus Adipurush, based on Hindu epic Ramayan, Rebel Star Prabhas in the titular role. Team Adipurush is busy shooting in Mumbai.
Adipurush is being shot when the country, mainly Maharashtra is witnessing a massive surge in Covid-19 infections. Shootings of several big Bollywood films have been called off given the pandemic scare.
In his recent interview with a leading daily, Om Raut opened up on shooting for Adipurush amid Covid-19 scare. Everyone in the team is working hard on the sets and the team is putting all they got, he said.
The team is having a good time shooting for Adipurush, and it feels good when the team has the same goal and the force is channelized to reach the common goal. Om Raut said.
The Mythological film has an ensemble cast of Sail Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, who will be seen in the characters of Ravan and goddess Sita respectively. Adipurush is slated for a theatrical release on August 11, 2022.

Will Sattupalli MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah be made a minister in the TRS government? If TRS sources are to be believed, Sandra, who is a four-time MLA and has won even during the toughest of the times, richly deserves a ministry in KCR cabinet.
But, he was given a task by none other than KCR himself. The task is to completely decimate the TDP. He was tasked with merging the TDP into the TRS and ensures that the TDP becomes a history in Telangana. In 2014, there were 15 TDP MLAs. Though many joined the TRS, Sandra and some others refused to join the party. In 2018, Sandra and another MLA had again won as a TDP candidate. Soon after elections, he had joined the TRS. Now he has brought around the only remaining MLA and both have given a letter merging the TDP in Telangana into the TRS.
Sources say that KCR has promised to make him a minister if he merges the TDP into the ruling party. Now that the task has been completed, he may soon be made a minister in the next reshuffle, say those in the know.

Why is the Telangana Congress not utilising Revanth Reddy the way it should have in Nagarjunasagar byelections? At a time when the Congress wants to prove a point and make a comeback in Telangana, why is it deliberately sidelining a dynamic and young leader, who is a darling of the crowds?
The Congress is making an all-out effort to come back into the political game in Telangana. It had performed poorly in Dubbak assembly bypolls, GHMC elections and the recent Graduate MLC elections. In the Graduate MLC elections, the party stood fourth in Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahabubnagar constituency and fifth in Warangal-Nalgonda-Khammam constituency. So, it needs to win Nagarjunasagar at any cost to stay relevant in Telangana politics. Hence, it had pitted a senior and seasoned warhorse like K Jana Reddy.
Yet, there is a concerted attempt to keep the biggest crowd-puller out of the campaign. Without doubt, Revanth Reddy is a dynamic campaigner and a fiery orator. There are many fans for his power-packed speeches that take on KCR and KTR. Yet, the party has not been using him the way he should be used. He has spoken at one or two programmes only. Beyond that, he is unused despite a great demand for Revanth Reddy in Nagarjunasagar. The seniors, it is alleged, are deliberately keeping him away from the campaign.
Many youths in the party feel that the party should use his services extensively in the coming five days to tilt the scales in favour of the Congress in Nagarjunasagar. But, the seniors seem to be in no mood to listen.
